It was very welcoming and had great eye appeal rooms were great and comfortable.

The restraunt, slow service waitstaff chose to stand together and gossip and watch the entertainment rather than take our order 45 minutes to get our meal after ordering but the food was great. Didn't like our truck parked outside in a lot close to fence would have preferred it under cover for the $25 charge.

We come here every year for the Art Festival as well as to celebrate my daughter's birthday. My husband usually makes a face when he sees the cost. He doesn't understand the many reasons why I've repeatedly chosen this hotel. And, yes, I've shopped around just to say I did. But why ruin a vacation with uncertainties? Here at Best Western Premier Park Hotel the staff is always friendly and helpful-- from the front desk to the valet and restaurant. Love the shuttle to and from the airport. The quietness of the room and corridor is much appreciated. The beds, mattress offer no restless nights spent trying to get comfortable. The location to the square and it's activities and restaurants is so convenient. It all works to make my vacation experience a great trip.

The bathroom was a bit small and oddly shaped in relation to the sink and door being so close together. Had to leave the door open to gain some room when getting ready at the sink with hair and makeup.

Excellent location—

When we tried to eat breakfast at the hotel, our only option that day was the buffet…. not the ala cart menu. We skipped the buffet because it would have been way too expensive and way too much food for two adults and one child, but the ala carte menu would have been perfect. Definitely not a deal breaker for us as the hotel was perfect, otherwise.

Location and staff!

We had a large party in the bar with about 75 people. We ordered some pizzas that were just terrible. They tasted half cooked like a frozen pizza and I recall them being expensive although the bartender was very nice I would've expected him to buy back some drinks for my husband who organized the event. I booked rooms for some friends and they said the oatmeal was watery?

The hotel was spotless and staff were exceptional. The view was amazing and the location perfect for everything we wanted to do. The room was clean and comfortable and when requested housekeeping came. close to everything...capital, great bars and restaurants, University, lake. staff helpful with suggestions, always friendly and accommodating.

the pullout couch was fine for sleeping but not great. had to request bedding (came quickly) but then i had to make the bed myself, not a deal breaker. and the bar closed too early would have loved nightcap! I also had to request housekeeping each day which should have been explained on check in, but not an issue either night, and did a great job and made up the sofa bed each time. Also--one morning no coffee after 730?? that is early to end coffee for most of us esp on vacation. None of this would prevent a positive review, just fyi

The location is the best of any hotel in the city if your primary activities are in the vicinity of the capitol. The on-site restaurant is quite good and there is always coffee and/or and fruit-infused water in the lobby. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful.

The nightly rate is a bit high, but I knew what it was ahead of time and still booked my stay because of the convenience/location.

Great location. Appreciated the windows(!), beautiful view of the Capitol but NO street noise! (and windows opened!). Nice suite, Comfy bed. Mini-refrigerator. Updated bathroom. Loved the complimentary UW cookies.

These are minor—- Bar/restaurant seemed understaffed, at all times— morn, noon, night- very understandable given Labor Day weekend, farmers market, taste of Madison, UW football game. Having to wait at the restaurant forever to pay for a few coffees to get quickly on the road in the morning- not great. Most people are paying $300+ per night, seems to be nickel and diming your guests, may want to consider offering complimentary coffee and even bottled waters.

Friendly staff and perfect location for my family trip. Really in the heart of downtown and so close to State St. on a weekend- it was awesome. I loved watching the people from my room for a little bit. I love the fruit water that was out. Very refreshing. It’s a nice minimal extra.

The food at the Post was OK and the coffee was not the best, but those are first world things. Those things would not prevent me from eating there again.

We had a capital building view that was awesome, especially at night. The room was large and the styling was up to date. Quite frankly there was nothing about this hotel that i would consider not up to pare. This was the last stay on our 14 day tour and it was by far the best.

I would have prefered self park but the valet service turned out very convenient and efficient.

Beautiful view of the capital from our room. The room is spacious with high ceilings, bright, and modern. Comfortable bed. We got to enjoy the pool this time which was fantastic. All of the staff are extremely friendly. Great valet.

Loved it all.
