This is a review for KOVA Diamond Hotel, but more so the hotel manager Miss Duong, or as my dad called her, Miss Joy. One of the nicest and accommodating people you will meet. I’m writing this review for my dad, Barry, who while in Da Nang ended up in the hospital. Many times during my dad's stay, Miss Joy went out of her way to help, including helping find a currency exchange place and even making a special trip in the rain to visit my dad in the hospital and also bring his personal items. As he said, one of the most caring people he has ever met and a true asset for KOVA Diamond Hotel. Everything at the hotel was great, zero issues during his stay.

Arrived early to fab staff who did all tgey could to help and accomodate us been having an issue with booking.com But they nailed ' this ! Close to beach and a million massage spas markets and reasturants cant beat the location . Duong - prononced 'Thew' is awsome as a manager truly hard to leave this place but booked up so moved next door tgrough her reccomendation to tge Delicate Hotel 'again fab staff and really decent clean rooms and just a tad more expensive' but great feel as though lve made friends here with both staffs really lovely peeps" Enjoy Book in advance tgey are both very Popular'.

NOTHING STAFF N HOTEL ARE AWSOME .

Hotel is on same road as Dragon Bridge, one block from beach. If you are coming for the beach, this is a great location. Some restaurants around but really not a lot to see or do other than the beach. A/C worked very well, wifi was very good, bed was comfy compared to most Asian beds which are usually very hard, water pressure very good. Room was well equipped with daily water and coffee, robes, extra pillows, fridge, etc. Well priced. Not a luxury hotel but a very nice, comfortable, good place to stay.

Breakfast was not good for me. Caters to the Asian tastes which I understand as most other guests were Asian. Limited choices overall. That might have been fine but there was no description of what food was what so I did not try most of it. One morning they had spaghetti so I had that as the only identifiable option. Sure it was left over from the night before. Coffee was terrible, very cold and I was the first one there. Again, probably left over from the day before and left out to warm up which it did not. If breakfast is included, feel free to try it but do not spend money on it.

Room was very clean with a large tv and good WiFi. Comfortable beds. And we were upgraded free of charge. Breakfast buffet was a highlight. Plenty of food and variety.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Everything was perfect! They just need to improve the breakfast: There was no variety at all apart from Asian food. The only option was to ask for an omelette every morning, coffee, and bread (fruit was also very, very limited). Another downside was the mess in the dining area towards the end of breakfast time, and some guests (I believe Chinese) who were quite noisy everywhere. But of course, that’s not the hotel’s fault if some guests aren’t civilised.

It took me 1 day of research to find this budget stay with Gym & Amazing Swimming Pool. One of the staff’s Duong, helped me from onboarding to every other requirements that I wanted. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I think i had one of the best rooms, good lighting and ventilation. They also have scooters to rent if you like to go around Da Nang. Special thanks to Duong for helping us out.

I think I did not try out the restaurant here. Because I was mostly eating out. But I had stayed here for over 22 days and it was a great experience for me.

Bed is very comfy. Soft but stirdy. Elevator. Nice yet cold pool on the roof. Was able to extend with same nightly rate 2 nights Through hostel whel feeling ill. Daily cleaning if wanted. Hot water from shower. 5 min walk to "mikey beach". Comfy sunbed on the roof.

Window was small. Sheets were clean but little faint stains. (Just regular what comes from heavy usage but still). The staff is quite shy, but if you interact with them they will talk and even have trips to attend.

Location , across the road from the beach. A short grab ride from other activities bars and restaurants etc too

Tiny details. No shampoo in the shower area or a shelf to sit the shampoo on. So had to stand it on the floor. No towel ring/hook in the hand basin area to hang you face towel. These are not major issues but tiny details that would easily improve convenience

Great stay, close to beach & friendly staff. Room matched the photos and was as described. Not much in the immediate area, its between the tourist area & big hotels to the north and the 'digital nomad' area to the south with coffee shops and cozy eateries etc. Great for the price and a springboard to explore other areas.

'Gym' is just a few free weights + some old machines!

The location was excellent for beach and the city. The staff were welcoming, accommodating and friendly. The rooms were clean and well attended.

The shower did leak all over the bathroom. Unfortunately during our stay there weren’t many other guests and so understandably, breakfast wasn’t always a buffet/choice.
