1. Hospitality of the Hotel Staff: Extremely friendly and approachable. Kathy, the Customer Relations Manager deserves a mention: she reaches out to hotel guests prior to their arrival. She is also very receptive to feedback. 2. Location: Lots of good eateries and cafes that could accommodate everyone’s differing budget. Also, situated in the shopping streets on both sides. It is also a stone’s throwaway from Hoan Kiem lake & Hop On-Off city tour bus. The hotel is within walking distance of main attractions: Hanoi Train Street, Water Puppet Theatre, Hoan Kiem lake, Hoa Lo Prison (ranges from 3 to 25 min walk: good exercise to hit 10K steps a day 😄) 3. The Classic Street Hotel: It boasts of a rich cultural history. This is evident in its architectural features and furnishing.

I recently stayed for three nights at the Classic Street Hotel in Hanoi's Old Quarter, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is situated in a bustling, vibrant street, perfect for anyone wanting to be close to all the attractions, street markets, massage parlours, and food outlets. The location offers a lively nightlife and easy access to everything you could need as a traveller. From the moment I made my booking, Kathy, a staff member, was incredibly helpful. She provided me with detailed information through WhatsApp and even went above and beyond to assist me in expediting my delayed e-Visa from Vietnam immigration, keeping me updated throughout the process. Kathy also arranged tours for me and was the best host I’ve encountered in all my travels. The rest of the staff were equally warm, welcoming, and always willing to help. Their genuine approachability made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Classic Street Hotel to anyone planning a visit to Hanoi. The service, especially from Kathy, truly stands out. My only regret is that I didn’t get a chance to take a photo with Kathy at checkout as a keepsake. Cảm ơn bạn rất nhiều vì mọi thứ (Thank you very much for everything).

They should put more food for people who don't eat pork for their breakfast.

Everything was spot-on. Kathie is a legendary receptionist. She sorts everything out. Breakfast and bed is good. Location is fantastic for a long weekend!

Not much to be honest. I should not be complaining for a 3 star hotel standard. Everything was as expected.

Location was great. I think price reasonable for location. Room was clean and comfy bed.

Had some issues with figuring warm water for shower. After using fridge overnight realised in morning it was working or on. Hotel took feedback well and very polite chdckout. Staff encounters were all very accommodating with the exception of a bit of a abrupt checkin experience.

Well when I read the comments in Germany, did not expect this much until I lived the Kathy experience 🥰 she is reliable, honest and knows what she is doing , if you are first timers in Vietnam, go there and let the hotel take care of your reservations , bookings, just ask , and leave it for the experts .. the location is perfect . It's like you step outside, and there is Hanoi with its charming culture and people. Thank you, we are very grateful 🙏 Breakfast was perfect. You can order your noodle soup in the morning, and there are no extra charges. Another thing I slept like a 👶.

The staff were excellent. Ray's english and welcome were exceptional. The beautiful breakfast staff (Anna and Autumn) made getting up in the morning so worthwhile. They always looked as 'delicious' as the food !!!! The always smiling room cleaning staff were a joy and i just wish they worked for me. Lastly, lovely little (pregnant) Flora arranged a lovely hassle free trip to Halong Bay which was very enjoyable.

That i could only afford the time to stay there for only seven days. I WILL return !!!!.

The location is excellent and many of the main sites are within walking distance. From the time of booking, the hotel went to lengths to ensure any questions we had could be addressed. Staff were very helpful and polite and always able to assist - one of them even took us to the nearest ATM rather than relying on directions when we had newly arrived in Hanoi. Breakfasts were good with a variety of food both Western and local food.

The hotel is in need of a some renovation and updating. Our room had two safes for some reason but neither worked. The particulars for our room stated 'balcony' but this was a stretch of the imagination as although there were doors that opened to the outside it was certainly not possible to get two people out and the view was just of the backs of other buildings very close by.

The service of the staff was excellent. They were very pleasant, always checking in to make sure our stay was comfortable, and that any issues were resolved. Also the location was extremely convenient, walking distance to many different places we wished to visit. The breakfasts were also quite tasty and had plenty of options.

Our room was quite dated and was in need of a renovation. The room felt a bit musty so we kept the aircon running to help keep this at bay, and keep us cool enough. Initially our refrigerator wasn't working, and we had just one pillow each, but after talking to customer service they were able to rectify these issues. Our room experienced a fair bit of noise from adjacent rooms/the corridor outside, and there was some construction happening on one of the mornings which started about 7am, a bit too early for our liking.

Amazingly located hotel right in the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. Staff were the kindest to us. We were firstly given a room that was right next to a construction site and, upon request, were changed to a quiter room. You could still hear some of the construction noise but it was definetely more peaceful. Breakfast was good. All staff were very helpfull to us.

One can not expect total silence in the center of Hanoi, especially with the construction right next door, but that definetely weighs in the classification that I have to give to the hotel which would be higher otherwise.
