Location was very nice albeit hawkers were at the hotel entrance/ lobby

In the name of upgrade, we were shifted to another hotel named La Passion Premium. We were told that there is a kitchenette as per our room requirement. However, it turned out that there was no functional kitchenette and there was an additional basin and non functional stove with no kitchenwares. Did not like being lied to. Also, I recieved a message that my card is not valid and was made to pay cash. On my return, I recieved a message that someone tried to charge $603 on my credit card which ofcourse was declined as I had disabled international transactions after my return. So be careful about the credit card also,

I really like the location, the design, the atmosphere of the hotel. Staffs are very accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

They overbooked the Junior suite so we got moved to Delux suite on our first night which made the first impression not so good but the staff gave us a discount on the first night. Overall, I understand the situation and still enjoyed my stay.

The staff was lovely, from the welcome to the check in to the constant checking up everytime they see you. Entire team was helpful, always warm and keen to talk. The energy is simply amazing with the team and they are very professional about it. Special thanks to Doris who recommended very good coffee places once I told her I love my coffee. She was also kind with a nice chat while waiting for the next bus to pick up and her attitude is very nice.

Due to the location, it's noisy. I thought taking a higher floor up would ensure the nosiness is reduced, but it didn't help. I doubt there is soundproofing down. However, it's Ha Noi and old quarter, the location may make any soundproofing redundant. The breakfast is average, but there's plenty of options around so didn't use the breakfast too often.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! We booked 3 rooms here but they moved us to their sister hotel La Passion Premium which was across the road prior to check in. They messaged on WhatsApp to confirm our arrival time and met us at the front to check in, we were offered a welcome tea and check in was smooth. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the location was very handy for exploring the Old Quarter being 2mins from the lake and the main streets. Take note that at certain times during the day (after 6pm) the street converts to pedestrian only with car access being one street away. Breakfast is a la carte style at La Passion Premium (apparently buffet at La Passion) offering western style and Vietnamese style food.

The water stays quite hot in the bathroom (we couldn’t figure out a way to turn it cooler) and they don’t provide conditioner (only body wash and shampoo).

My wife and I were lucky enough to stay at Hotel La Passion during the final part of our trip through Vietnam — and it turned out to be the best hotel experience we had in the Vietnam. It’s a smaller hotel, but the rooms are beautifully designed — cozy without feeling cramped, and thoughtfully arranged for comfort. What really made the stay special, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, and spoke excellent English. They genuinely went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. A special thank you to Emma and Sylvia: Emma helped me by getting some medicine when I was dealing with a bit of stomach trouble, and Sylvia gave us great recommendations for must-see attractions and some fantastic local cafés. To top it all off, when we checked out, they surprised us with a sweet farewell gift — literally! Some delicious local treats that made the goodbye a little sweeter. If you’re visiting Hanoi, I can’t recommend Hotel La Passion enough. It’s a hidden gem that truly lives up to its name.

Excellent stay, and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. The staff, in particular Serena and the bellboy were extremely friendly, approachable, and helpful. English was excellent, helped us with airport taxi, and overall clean hotel. Room was decent sized, water temperature and pressure excellent, and although only one lift, it was super quick. Hotel breakfast and view from restaurant was decent, and location of hotel was superb. Smack bang in the middle of everything you need, and walkable to French Quarter, as well as the Train tracks. Honestly no complaints and very much enjoyed the stay. Also, great spring rolls right next door to the hotel.

Unfortunately whilst on the cruise it got cancelled after the first night due to weather and we had to try and find accommodation for that night in Hanoi. La Passion were fantastic and managed to accommodate us for the night and then merged our bookings with the next night so we didn’t have to check out and back in. Incredibly helpful and full of fantastic recommendations for things to do and places of eat, and they’re always so happy and smiling! Thank you so much!

I recently stayed at La Passion Hotel in Singapore, and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. The location is fantastic—convenient, vibrant, and close to everything I needed. The room was comfortable, clean, and beautifully designed, providing a peaceful retreat in the heart of the city. But what truly sets La Passion apart is the incredible staff. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel genuinely welcome, like I was coming home. The warmth and care they showed was unlike anything I’ve experienced at a hotel before. A special thank you to the team for going above and beyond when my luggage broke just five minutes before I was scheduled to be picked up. They jumped into action without hesitation—helping me manage the situation calmly and kindly. They also securely stored my belongings, including my work laptop, for several days while I handled my travel plans. I felt completely at ease knowing everything was in such good hands. The staff at La Passion are not just professional—they are lovely, thoughtful people who genuinely care. During our 4-night stay, we changed rooms due to amendments in our own plans. So we got to try 3 different rooms. Two of the normal size and one big room with a balcony (almost double the standard room's rate). The first room we got on the 4th floor had the most "make-sense" layout, which is the standard size. You can still hear the hustle and bustle from the outside, but it's still acceptable. To me, overall it was a very good value for money, relatively clean, location is good, staffs are very friendly and helpful, and bonus point is they can do laundry at USD2 /kg - it was very helpful!

The bigger room on the 8th floor is rather old/not as clean as the rest. The hallway was also quite dirty compared to the 4th floor we first stayed in. It was too big to our liking and had some mould build-up in the bathroom, didn't 100% enjoy it, but again, still acceptable. But it's still acceptable. Breakfast was so-so, but not too bad. Location can be good/bad depending on preference, but we like that it's close to most cafe/restaurants/food.
