Location was very nice albeit hawkers were at the hotel entrance/ lobby

In the name of upgrade, we were shifted to another hotel named La Passion Premium. We were told that there is a kitchenette as per our room requirement. However, it turned out that there was no functional kitchenette and there was an additional basin and non functional stove with no kitchenwares. Did not like being lied to. Also, I recieved a message that my card is not valid and was made to pay cash. On my return, I recieved a message that someone tried to charge $603 on my credit card which ofcourse was declined as I had disabled international transactions after my return. So be careful about the credit card also,

Stayed here for our family vacation in July and was one of the best experiences we have had. Doris, Mike and Tom were truely exceptional and so incredibly helpful. They attended to all our questions and concerns with enthusiasm and helped us work out the details of our trip. Additionally they were incredibly helpful in booking our taxi from Hanoi to Ninh Binh. Also on our last day, Tom helped us with a vendor (salon) we had a price misunderstanding with and personally helped sort it out! Can’t recommend this hotel enough, not only are the staff so lovely but the location is perfect - walking distance to most attractions!!

Really amazing kind staff - Doris is super sweet and Tina, Tomas, Serena and Tom were great too, always accommodating and kind. Breakfast was good and location was just the best really close to everything. Very fair price-quality ratio.

The pictures are quite well curated, reality is a bit more shabby, older building, reception has these very intense white lights, rooms are smaller and less luxurious than pictures show, no small reading light or warm relaxing lights everything is a bit fluorescent, some details are a bit off. Rooftop is completely abandoned, nothing like pictures.

The hotel is situated right in the city center of Hanoi which meant that we could walk pretty much everywhere. Overall we had a great stay at the hotel and would come back. What we loved the most about this hotel were the staff. The staff that checked us in and checked us out went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Additionally we celebrated my partners birthday and the hotel staff helped me organize cake and balloons as a surprise. They also shared a bunch of useful tips for both Hanoi and the rest of Vietnam and were always around for a friendly chat. If you're looking for a place that's central and has great staff then this hotel should be on your list!

Overall we loved our stay however, one thing that we'd recommend improving on would be the breakfast as options are quite limited but that didn't affect our stay and we still had a great time!

We had a wonderful stay at La Passion Hotel in Hanoi. All the staff members were warm, helpful, and professional—Doris and Tom were just a couple of the friendly faces we interacted with. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, and our room was very comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job each day, keeping everything fresh and tidy. Due to a typhoon, we had to adjust our travel plans and extend our stay by an extra night. The staff were incredibly accommodating and helped us organise the additional night with ease. We stayed in two rooms—503 and 504—and both were cozy, quiet, and nicely presented.

There was just one minor issue: in room 504, the water took a while to heat up and stayed lukewarm at first. In comparison, room 503 had perfectly functioning hot water. That said, this was a small inconvenience, and I still had a great time. I’d highly recommend La Passion Hotel and would be happy to stay again.

The staff was lovely, from the welcome to the check in to the constant checking up everytime they see you. Entire team was helpful, always warm and keen to talk. The energy is simply amazing with the team and they are very professional about it. Special thanks to Doris who recommended very good coffee places once I told her I love my coffee. She was also kind with a nice chat while waiting for the next bus to pick up and her attitude is very nice.

Due to the location, it's noisy. I thought taking a higher floor up would ensure the nosiness is reduced, but it didn't help. I doubt there is soundproofing down. However, it's Ha Noi and old quarter, the location may make any soundproofing redundant. The breakfast is average, but there's plenty of options around so didn't use the breakfast too often.

Staff was very friendly and helpful! We booked 3 rooms here but they moved us to their sister hotel La Passion Premium which was across the road prior to check in. They messaged on WhatsApp to confirm our arrival time and met us at the front to check in, we were offered a welcome tea and check in was smooth. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the location was very handy for exploring the Old Quarter being 2mins from the lake and the main streets. Take note that at certain times during the day (after 6pm) the street converts to pedestrian only with car access being one street away. Breakfast is a la carte style at La Passion Premium (apparently buffet at La Passion) offering western style and Vietnamese style food.

The water stays quite hot in the bathroom (we couldn’t figure out a way to turn it cooler) and they don’t provide conditioner (only body wash and shampoo).

We have had a great stay for our honeymoon at La Passion. The hotel was extremely clean and has been renovated to a high standard. The room had excellent facilities and aircon which was a lifesaver! The staff were really attentive and were extremely friendly! Special shout out to Doris and Mike who were on reception, as well as Billy who would greet us at the door everyday. The location was excellent and was close to everything, such as the night markets, the lake and temple. Would definitely recommend and stay here again if we are ever back in Hanoi again.

The property is great and located in the center around old quarter Hanoi. What stands out about La Passion Hanoi Hotel & Spa is the staff. We got in at 5 AM and interacted with every staff and all exceed hospitality and professionalism. Even when arriving at 5 AM the staff at La Passion Hotel & Spa the staff go out of their way to make you comfortable. The staff asked if we wanted to explore around the town and stated they would watch over our luggage if we decided to leave. We did, and with the map they provided and recommended places we got to experience all hours of Hanoi. From watching the locals workout, famous local phô places, and other tourist attractions. Even with the rain an umbrella can be provided. We came for our honeymoon and all the staff went an extra mile to make our trip as romantic, beautiful, and memorable as ever. Staff Mike Serena was truly exceptional along with the rest of the hotel. The room is clean, air conditioned space, and so relaxing. Very walkable area. We walked everywhere and most famous attractions are less than a mile away from the hotel. Even walking through town in the rain is an experience and if you ask any of the staff they will tell you the best places to go to enjoy your stay. For sure would recommend anyone to stay here: the affordability, comfort, and breakfast quality is all worth it.

I really like the location, the design, the atmosphere of the hotel. Staffs are very accommodating and friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

They overbooked the Junior suite so we got moved to Delux suite on our first night which made the first impression not so good but the staff gave us a discount on the first night. Overall, I understand the situation and still enjoyed my stay.
