I had a great stay! The service was excellent and the staff were friendly. When I checked in, they clearly explained everything – from the services they offer to nearby places I could visit and activities to enjoy during my stay. Room service was very good, and breakfast was included and ready early at 6:45 AM. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to many places, especially the Hanoi Night Market. They also have a fast and clean laundry service. Even after I checked out in the morning, they kindly let me leave my luggage there. I would recommend this hotel!

I feel like I got extremely lucky booking this location for my trip. Not only is it situated right in the middle of the Old Quarter, where restaurants and shops were close by, it was also very convenient to get around Hanoi from this point. The facilities were clean, and the breakfast they offered every morning was superb. The best part about staying at this location was how well the staff looked after their guests. I had the misfortune of losing my cash card to an ATM over the long weekend, and it was the staff who did their best to help me out for the remainder of my stay. They were kind and friendly, and it truly felt reassuring to know they were there with me as we dealt with the situation. Thank you so much for your assistance! Highly recommend this location, and you can be sure that when I come back to Hanoi I will not even think of booking elsewhere.

I can't think of anything that I didn't really like about the location, because everything about it was meticulously cleaned and kept up to standard. I would like to suggest though, to have an option to only change towels upon request instead of automatically changing them every single day.

Nice space, nothing extraordinary but has everything you need. I read great reviews about staff working there and I can confirm it's all true - very welcoming people, ready to help and happy to help you and to have you there (we stayed a whole week, 7 days). Location is also perfect, great street, plenty of options for food, coffee, beer or just casual walk around. Breakfast also

When it's raining (and we were staying during rainy season) you can hear the rain dropping somewhere around AC so it can wake you up). Also we heard water splashing from upper floor toilet so sound isolation was far from perfect. Maybe it's just our room but it can be irritating.

Small hotel at a very convenient location. Due theam led by Jessica ensured personal attention. I regret not asking everyone's names except James but all three front desk members, the chief and the gentleman on night duty were very pleasent and always happy to help. They even gave a good exchange rate on currency and a reasonable taxi for airport. Jessica was very prompt at answering all your queries even before arrival at the hotel. Though i did not use their travel and tour packages (since I had pre-booked online), they provide travel services too.

There is nothing that I did not like at Hotel Golden moon Hanoi.

Hanoi golden moon is in a perfect location within the old quarter and being walkable to many of the historic sites ,museums , markets and haoi in general. The staff at Golden moon were very friendly and helpful and were excellent in organising all of my day trips and anything else I required. The hotel is of a small er type which enhances the much more personalised service. Each morning I was warmly greeted and provided with a great coffee and a good breakfast to start my day. Felt very safe and secure at this hotel.

We stayed for five nights and it was perfect! Such a great location within walking distance to the main attractions and various excellent food / coffee establishments. The hotel itself was comfortable, the room spacious, and the breakfast was fantastic and large. The staff were also very hospitable, especially Jessica who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Would definitely stay again!

The bed was on the firmer side, which wasn’t a huge deal for us but may bother some people (I think that seems to be pretty standard across Asia!).

Superb stay with the friendliest staff. Jessica organised an amazing Ha Giang Loop tour for a very decent price which met all of our requests and beyond. She also made herself available to us even after we checked out, helping us with our tour and even offering to retrieve our chargers we left in Ha Giang. The location is great, only a few minutes away from the lake. Breakfast was yummy with a small buffet selection and then freshly made food (eggs, soup, pancakes). They even made us a packed breakfast for the day we left for Ha Giang as we departed very early.

Great location for street food and restaurants. Double room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly, helpful, and the room was cleaned promptly. Breakfast was very tasty. Choices of pho, eggs, pancakes, and toast. The buffet had one hot food dish and fruit. The coffee was the best we've had. The cook provided a really nice take away breakfast for our bus trip to Sapa: fried egg sandwich, fruit, yoghurt and water.

The pillows were big and hard, and not to our liking.

Great location and helpful staff! Generally clean and nice hotel. Very good breakfast as well as a take away option for early excursions.

The pillows are very hard and our room let a lot of light in from the street and noise. We switched rooms and asked for one with no window and it was much better but still had a window leading to the hallway that let in some light— only a problem for light sleepers! The air conditioning in our room also stopped working one night- I don’t know how typical that is here.
