Great location, clean and comfortable. This is a great hotel for somewhere to stop over and explore Hanoi for a couple of days. The location was great, center of old town and around a 2 min walking distance to the Hoan Kien lake. There is a small breakfast which is enough to get you ready for a day of exploring. The bed are comfortable and clean and you are provided with a fresh bottle of water daily. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

The bathroom in the room was enclosed by privacy glass rather then walls so at times it didn’t feel like you had privacy even though you couldn’t see the person in the bathroom you could see shadow etc. sky bar was smaller then expected, used a couple of times and always found somewhere to sit but can imagine it might get crowded quite quickly.

The staff at the hotel were friendly, welcoming and very helpful - they arrange trips for us to Ninh Binh & Halong Bay which were fantastic, as well as recommended various restaurants for us to try in the area. The level of service we received from all staff was 10/10. The room was a good size, had a balcony & good air-conditioning which was much appreciated. The breakfast in the morning offered a good selection too, with the option to eat from the buffet or order additional items off of the menu.

The bathroom was concealed behind a glass wall, not a major issue for us, but would have preferred it to have been behind a proper wall to enable more privacy.

One of the hotel’s greatest strengths is its excellent location – just steps away from the famous Hoàn Kiếm Lake, close to many major attractions, vibrant streets, and popular shopping areas. The breakfast service was also a highlight. In addition to a well-stocked buffet, guests can order freshly prepared dishes from an à la carte menu, which adds a nice touch of quality and variety. A special mention must go to Anthony at the reception, who was exceptionally helpful, kind, and professional, assisting me with various issues during my stay. His willingness to go the extra mile truly stood out. In fact, the entire staff demonstrated the same remarkable helpfulness, dedication, and genuine kindness, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

If I were to note one minor drawback, it would be that the rooms themselves are quite old and average in design, and due to the narrow structure of the building, our window looked out into an internal corridor rather than the street.

I had a truly fantastic stay at this hotel in Hanoi. From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth, welcoming, and well-organized. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and ideally located, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. What made the experience truly stand out, however, was the outstanding service at the reception. A special thanks to Anthony and Roger, who went above and beyond to make my stay seamless and enjoyable. They were not only professional and efficient, but also genuinely kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was arranging transportation, providing great local tips, or simply greeting guests with warmth, they set the tone for a five-star experience. Thanks again to the entire team—and especially Anthony and Roger—for making my time in Hanoi so memorable. I will definitely be back!

Lovely small hotel, in the shopping streets, with Water Puppet Theatre and Ho Hoan Kiem lake close by. Staff are very friendly, especially the lovely Ann and Roger on reception who were very helpful and accommodating, especially with our early arrival and late departure. Nice breakfast with hot and cold options. Roof top bar with views of the lake. Hotel organised our airport transfers and transport to Ha Long Bay for a reasonable price and always on time. Would definitely stay here again.

Not major problems, but for awareness, some of the rooms have windows that only look inwards and the bathroom shower door sometimes refuses to stay fully closed

Location was right in the heart of the old town, and walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The breakfast was fine, with a choice of how you wanted your eggs. Nice airconditioned restaurant. The staff were wonderful. They couldn't have been more helpful. Roger on the front desk was amazing and so friendly. I wish all deskstaff were like this. Even went to the trouble of walking down the street to get us a cyclo. Really was a breath of fresh air. Room was fine, and in the back if the hotel, so lovely and quiet.. All in all an excellent stay for us.

everything was good for us

We have just had 4 nights here and the hotel is great. Location is perfect and I could lie in bed at night looking out at the beautiful lights around the lake. The staff are absolutely exceptional and can’t do enough for you. The Sky Bar is good but can obviously be quite windy at this time of year because it’s so high - views are amazing though. Breakfast is ample with hot items to order - pho was wonderful.

The only small downside was that the shower was over the bath with a shower curtain which wasn’t great. We did soak the floor a few times! I wouldn’t let this stop me staying here though.

My stay at Bella Premier Hotel was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is very clean, and the rooms are comfortable and neatly arranged. Considering its price, the service is excellent and the location is extremely convenient — truly outstanding! All the staff are friendly and very helpful, and they deserve all the appreciation. Special thanks to Mr. Roger at the reception for his great professionalism and constant smile, which made my stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. A truly memorable experience, and I look forward to coming back again.

The room size was decent for 3 people and the beds were comfortable. The lighting in the hotel was exceptional and the balcony view was a nice touch. The rooftop bar was also an additional perk of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating (especially Roger who helped us unlock our safe when it was stuck!). The hotel breakfast was included and had a good selection for everyone. The hotel was in an amazing location, very close to lots of shops and restaurants. We only stayed here 1 night but would recommend for a short stay.

The bathroom in the room was surrounded by glass and included a glass sliding door. This wasn't ideal for a sharing room because if anyone went to the bathroom during the night, the bathroom light would glare through the glass wall and the sliding door was noisy.

The location is great, our room was spacious and clean. Great rooftop bar with a fantastic view over the lake. But the best thing about this hotel were the staff. From the time I booked online from Australia, Daisy looked after our airport transfer, Ha Long Bay cruise. Then checking into the hotel and meeting Roger and Swan, they were the most beautiful and helpful people. They booked our transfers to Sapa and back, suggested a great hairdresser and local restaurants. We can’t thank them enough for their hospitality. Thank you so much we will be back again some day.
