The staff - Laura & Lena are incredibly accommodating, had the best local recommendations (coffee places, museums, etc). Plus, they kept in touch via WhatsApp before and during the journey. Also, they did our laundry for free and were always keen to chat with us and make sure were are fully accommodated for. They’re both the best!!! The room was spacious, with excellent view, really good AC, fantastic bathroom, and comfy bed. The breakfast was really tasty, the beef pho, omelette, sausage, bacon, and fresh fruit were 10/10. The hotel even has an elevator!

The location is great! You’re at walking distance from all the main attractions! The price includes breakfast which is a nice to have. Also, we have used their laundry services and our clothes were returned in less than 24 hs clean and smelling so great. The bed was huge and very comfy and their staff super friendly and helpful.

The only things to point out is that a strange smell came out of the toilet. You could tell that was clean but I guess it was coming up from the sewers. Not a big deal but better to keep the bathroom door closed to avoid getting that smell in the rest of the room!

The staff were incredible and could not help us enough. They were relatively young and absolutely full of energy, with great communication skills. At every opportunity, they went out of their way to assist or give guidance during our stay, extending to local tours and activities. The team at the breakfast room were lovely and very efficient with their services...and the food was lovely, fresh and plentiful. Room comfort was good and the air-conditioning was faultless. Room cleaning was equally good. Location put us in a great spot where the old quarter was at our fingertips...great location.

Unfortunately, we had a back room, which meant no window or direct natural light. We spent a lot of time during the day out and about but it did impact our idea of time etc to a degree. Staying in the future, I will simply ensure I get a front room. If you are only staying a couple of days it would not be an issue. Next time I'm in Hanoi, I will certainly stay here :)

Although the hotel is a bit older, it is very well kept and has a lot of charm. What really makes this place stand out is the amazing staff – everyone was incredibly friendly, helpful, and truly dedicated to making our stay perfect. The breakfast was outstanding, with a wide selection of fresh and delicious options. The room was clean, cozy, and nicely decorated, with a very comfortable bed. The location is absolutely ideal – right in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, with shops, restaurants, and sights all within walking distance. We felt completely at home and would definitely come back. Highly recommended!

My experience at this accommodation was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. The place looks exactly like the photos—spotlessly clean and well-maintained. Daily housekeeping was done promptly, and everything was kept in perfect order throughout my stay. I arrived very late (around 3 a.m.) and was welcomed with genuine kindness and consideration, which immediately made me feel at ease. The staff consistently went above and beyond, offering warm, helpful service at all times. Breakfast was generous and diverse, with a great selection of food. The fresh fruits and natural juices were especially delicious—a real highlight of the morning. What truly sets this place apart is the attention to detail and guest comfort. On check-out day, they offer free luggage storage and even allow you to take a shower before heading to the airport—such a thoughtful and practical gesture, especially for late flights. I would highly recommend this place to solo travelers, families, and couples alike. It’s incredibly comfortable, perfectly located, and run by people who genuinely care about making your stay the best it can be. I would absolutely stay here again!

I stayed here with my family, and the staff was wonderful. My kids and wife love Grace. She let us borrow umbrellas during the rain, updated us on the weather and current events, and gave my kids candy when they looked tired and down. I can talk to her about anything, and she is very fluent in English. The room was nice and spacious. We got the top-view room that looked out at the lake. It was beautiful to see the lake and the city from up there. The breakfast was good and healthy. If you have any questions about the city or places to go, the front desk staff can help you book a car and tell you where to go. The location was very ideal for walking throughout the city. It was close to everything. The restaurant next door is very good, and the shop next door with Grandma is very cheap if you talk to her nicely. I cannot imagine a better location.

Sometimes there are just too many moterbike parked in front of the hotel that do not belong to the people in the hotel. It makes it a little hard to walk around it.

We had a wonderful stay at Bella Rosa Hotel & Travel in Hanoi. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the Old Quarter and just steps from the beautiful lake. The staff were outstanding, incredibly kind and helpful, especially the girl who welcomed us, she truly made us feel at home. The room was clean. Breakfast was tasty, served just 10 meters away in a nearby building. We appreciated being able to store our luggage before check-in, and they even let us check in early at no extra cost. Highly recommended!

A bit noisy during the night, but of course this is because the hotel is located in the very city center.

Location was great, but noisy with plenty of food places nearby. Easy to walk everywhere. You should expect some noise as you’re right in heart of action.

Lift only went to 6th floor and our room was on 7th. Access via an iron staircase with wobbly railings. But it was relatively quiet on top floor.

Everything was perfect, friendly staff always help me, Anthony arranged everything from taxi at airport to transfer to Sapa, he is a friendly man knows his work well, you can trust him to arrange everything in Hanoi or north cities, also a lady at reception always response to any inquires. The location is in an old town quarter all shops, cafes, restaurants are infront of the hotel. Clean rooms with a beautiful view of the lake and city. I really recommend this hotel if you come to Hanoi.

The staff are so accommodating. We stored our luggage here for a few days when we went to Ha Long bay and they had it all ready for us in our room when we got back. It is very good value for money, clean and safe
