The Best Staff ever! Everyone at the reception was very helpful, provided information about sightseeing, Old Quater, souvenir shop and anything else we asked about. The room was very clean and big, beds extremely comfortable. The location was a great advantage - everything was within a walking dostanie (great cafes and restaurants, bus and train station, famous sights). We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back one day. Many thanks to wonderful staff who made our experience so much better!

Staff is very kind and helpful In the old quarter so close to many restaurants and many places of interest in Hanoï, you can do a lot just by foot. They organise pick up from the airport but we had to wait for 45min. A driver finally came after a couple of phone calls. I did not understand what happened but in the end they managed. very good suggestions for breakfast and dinner Got a discount for the imperfections without asking for it.

I was very strongly and repeatedly asked to rank my stay 10 on booking, I felt a bit harassed, likely strong pressure from the boss, that’s a pity. It rather worths 9 because of the noise of the street (that’s an animated area, it comes with its pros and cons’), and the little imperfections (it’s not French culture to rank 10 what’s not absolutely perfect !)

It's my 2nd time staying in this hotel, recognized me immediately. The staff are very friendly, accommodating and helpful, especially Think who frequently checks on me and Linh who's on the night shift. Location is excellent, I rarely take Grab since I like to walk around. It's close to almost every nice cafe, souvenir shops and attractions. They cleaned the sheets & towels everyday. The location is so close to every food stalls & restaurant and is in front of convenience store which connects to the lake on the other side that's also near ATM machine. Overall, my stay was very excellent and I would definitely book with them again.

Slightly disappointed that breakfast was unavailable at the time of my stay (based upon positive reviews posted and one factor which swayed my selection too book here), but to be fair they were in process of refurbishment hence no breakfast was on offer to anyone. You can always find food nearby anyway. Staff were very helpful / flexible and positive attitude. Location was great and plenty of places to eat on the doorstep. I stayed on 6th floor hence less noise and had a balcony which is useful as I am a smoker. It was clean, a bit out-dated but no issues with smells. To be fair, it is a 3 star hotel hence anyone booking should manage their expectations based upon 3*. Has basic essentials so overall suited my needs as I was out most of the time anyway. Aircon unit worked very well with heating and air-con at a decent output. Bed was large and comfortable ( locally typically harder than usual western standards). Yes you can find a cheaper place including breakfast , but here you are paying for the location itself. Step outside and only meters to the shark building ( which they are knocking down next month) and the lake.

Room was very small based upon western standards as the bed took up most of the space per se ( think the measurements posted also included the bathroom space which is a bit misleading?). You have to shuffle around the tiny gap at the end of the bed end to get to the balcony. Bathroom shower head was very stiff/ slow and weak pressure, hence faster to use lower faucet option if you are in a rush for a shower.

Everything was perfect! Han & Dat were very friendly and helpful. Dat even upgraded me from the 2nd night onwards to a larger room as I found the Deluxe Double with a window to be tad bit small esp. around the bed area at no additional cost. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The coffee next door is good too. There are nice cafes and restaurants all around within 5-10 mins walking from the property. It is also very close to major points of interest. Highly recommended! Will stay again if I'm ever back in Hanoi.

The location was amazing. Rooms were small but super clean (much cleaner than several 4-star hotels we had stayed in on our trip) and the beds were great. Best thing about this property though was the manager Bryan, who hands down was the best hotel manager/customer service person we came across in Vietnam. From the moment we booked the hotel, Bryan went out of his way to help us in every way possible. This included, amongst other things, booking us on an overnight Ha Long Bay cruise, booking us a family room for an extra night at another great (sister) hotel in Hanoi on our return from Ha Long, personally bringing one of our suitcases (which we had left at his hotel) over from his hotel to our next one on our return to Hanoi, and even organising a complimentary taxi transfer to the airport for our departure from Hanoi. And his communication was perfect from beginning to end. Thank you so much Bryan!!!

Only thing was the hot water was a bit inconsistent. Otherwise everything was excellent

Excellent Location, lovely rooms, comfortable beds. Bryan and staff are absolutely fantastic! Hold off booking any tours because Bryan has fantastic options for great prices and really goes above and beyond to make sure it’s a memorable experience and he will check in to make sure everything is going well! We booked our Ha Giang Loop tour and Ha Long Bay Cruise with Bryan and they were exceptional and he made sure there was a room here for us when we got back from both. Will definitely stay here time and time again if we are ever back in Hanoi. There is a laundry service available as well which is a bonus on top of everything else

The room was cozy and very clean. We were located in the middle of the old quarter of Ha Noi which is basically the centre. Everything was in walking distance, the airport pick up went well and communication between hotel was great. The pillows were a bit stiff for our necks but otherwise everything was fine.

We struggled with the construction work next to the hotel, it was very noisy and went from morning til late afternoon. That was a bummer for us since we were heavily jet lagged and couldn't rest properly. Brian handled the situation very well and understood our struggles. He gave us a complimentary shuttle to the airport as an apology. He was very kind and welcoming.

Perfect location right by Hoan Kiem Lake and with loads of good bars, restaurants and shops near by. The staff were super friendly specially Brian and Han - who was super friendly and fun even though he was working all through the new year bank holiday! The room was humble but comfortable enough, with fresh towels and water delivered every day.

From the room you can hear a pod of the noises from busy Hanoi, definitely recommend taking some year plugs if you’re a light sleeper like us.

The room was really nice, there was an air conditioner in the bedroom and living room, as well as TVs in both rooms. Vietnamese channels only so I didn't really use them. The room was in the back of the building so it stayed cool and was quiet. The only complaint I have is that there was only lukewarm water in the shower, no hot or cold water, but it didn't really bother me since it's so hot in Hanoi. The front desk staff were really nice and helpful, Julie and Thinh. My girlfriend bought some wine from a grocery store and Mr. Thinh was so nice he even ran out to get us a wine opener from the shop next door when we had a bottle but no corkscrew. Thanks for the great stay!!!

Nada everything was nice, the fridge is very small but big enough for cold drinks. Be prepared if you've never been to Hanoi though, the traffic in the old quarter is a bit crazy .. no side walks For walking. They are used as motorcycle parking. Just stay calm and try to move out of the vehicles way so you don't get hit. Early mornings are the best time to walk around and check out the shops, there are less people on the street and a bit less traffic, also it's not as hot as later in the day.
