The Best Staff ever! Everyone at the reception was very helpful, provided information about sightseeing, Old Quater, souvenir shop and anything else we asked about. The room was very clean and big, beds extremely comfortable. The location was a great advantage - everything was within a walking dostanie (great cafes and restaurants, bus and train station, famous sights). We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back one day. Many thanks to wonderful staff who made our experience so much better!

Staff is very kind and helpful In the old quarter so close to many restaurants and many places of interest in Hanoï, you can do a lot just by foot. They organise pick up from the airport but we had to wait for 45min. A driver finally came after a couple of phone calls. I did not understand what happened but in the end they managed. very good suggestions for breakfast and dinner Got a discount for the imperfections without asking for it.

I was very strongly and repeatedly asked to rank my stay 10 on booking, I felt a bit harassed, likely strong pressure from the boss, that’s a pity. It rather worths 9 because of the noise of the street (that’s an animated area, it comes with its pros and cons’), and the little imperfections (it’s not French culture to rank 10 what’s not absolutely perfect !)

We had a wonderful stay at the Lakeside Premium Hotel in Hanoi. Bryan was incredibly kind and helpful—always available if we had any questions and truly reliable. He went above and beyond by organizing both our Binh Anh Trip and Ha Long Bay Cruise, making everything effortless on our part (aside from the payment, of course!). He also arranged our airport transfer in Hanoi as well as the pick-up in Phu Quoc, which made our travel experience smooth and stress-free. Even after our stay, Bryan checked in with us to make sure everything went well and that we were happy with the arrangements—something we truly appreciated. The room was spotless, and we received fresh, clean towels every day. The rest of the staff were also extremely friendly and accommodating, always happy to assist us with directions or recommendations when we wanted to explore the city. All of our pick-ups for the tours were perfectly arranged, and the communication throughout was smooth. If I come back to Hanoi, I will definitely stay at Lakeside Premium Hotel again. Highly recommended for a comfortable, well-organized, and welcoming experience!

It's my 2nd time staying in this hotel, recognized me immediately. The staff are very friendly, accommodating and helpful, especially Think who frequently checks on me and Linh who's on the night shift. Location is excellent, I rarely take Grab since I like to walk around. It's close to almost every nice cafe, souvenir shops and attractions. They cleaned the sheets & towels everyday. The location is so close to every food stalls & restaurant and is in front of convenience store which connects to the lake on the other side that's also near ATM machine. Overall, my stay was very excellent and I would definitely book with them again.

I liked the small balcony in the 5th floor room that overlooked a narrow lively street in the old quarter and only a block away from the lake. There is a lift! Circle K convenience store across the street and many restaurants as well. The Manager, Bryan, was very responsive to questions and requests. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

On the weekend the street got pretty loud with increased street traffic and music from the surrounding restaurants. But it didn’t go until late at all (by 10:30 it was lowered) so not really a problem for me personally. But mentioned because it might be an issue for some people.

We are a family of three and it was our first time to visit Vietnam. We stayed in Hanoi Lakeside Premium Hotel for 7 nights. Our room was just the right size for us. Our room and our beddings were clean. We had a good-sized bathroom. The water was adequate and got hot really quick. Their towels were soft. The toilet paper was of good quality. We were provided with slippers and the usual toiletries. We were given one bottle of water a day and both coffee and tea sachets. The manager, Bryan and the receptionists, esp. Anna were all charming, thoughtful, and attended to all our needs, like arrange for a tour or book our transport to and from the airport. We felt so at home in the hotel. The hotel is in a very good location, just a block away from the lake. Across is a very good restaurant which has a good selection of delicious and reasonably priced Hanoi dishes. There is also Circle K which is a 24 hour shop. Every morning, there is also a lady who sells hot Bahn bao for 15,000. On the ground floor of the hotel is a spa and massage parlor. We had manicure/pedicure and massages. Their services are reasonably priced. What can we ask for?

Mr Bryan was very helpful throughout the stay. The location of the accommodation is amazing, right in the heart of the Old Town area and in walking distance to everything from restaurants to activities. The hotel is what you'd expect from a central city based accommodation at this price, it's comfortable but minimal which was not an issue for us as we were out of the room for the majority of the day. Surprisingly quite considering the central location, although we were on the 5th floor which likely helped. Would recommend for good quality affordable accommodation. Staff can help you book everything.

Basic but what I expected and accurate to the photos. Nothing bad. For a 3 night stop in Hanoi filled with sightseeing and food it was perfect.

The staff are very nice and super helpful. We had AC problem in the room so they changed us to another room. And the next day when our same room type in 6th floor is available again( because we said we like the 7th floor cozy long room with sofa in it) they asked us if we’d like to move again lol and we did. It was fun staying in this kind of construction and somehow very cozy. The price is definitely cheap for what you get in the center of old town. But also because of the construction, you don’t hear too much noise from around at all which made our sleep very well.

We stayed here when we first arrived in Hanoi and it was a perfect location to see all the sights without getting overwhelmed by the busy city We even got a room upgrade, which was very spacious and comfortable! Big thank you for that! ☺️ We left on a weekend, but the road the hotel is on is closed for cars on weekends but Brian helped us find where the car would pick us up and helped us with our bags to the pick up point and stayed with us until the taxi came. Thank you so much! The staff here could not be friendlier and gave us a big greeting whenever we entered. We full heartedly recommend this hotel to anyone!

WiFi isn’t strong

Slightly disappointed that breakfast was unavailable at the time of my stay (based upon positive reviews posted and one factor which swayed my selection too book here), but to be fair they were in process of refurbishment hence no breakfast was on offer to anyone. You can always find food nearby anyway. Staff were very helpful / flexible and positive attitude. Location was great and plenty of places to eat on the doorstep. I stayed on 6th floor hence less noise and had a balcony which is useful as I am a smoker. It was clean, a bit out-dated but no issues with smells. To be fair, it is a 3 star hotel hence anyone booking should manage their expectations based upon 3*. Has basic essentials so overall suited my needs as I was out most of the time anyway. Aircon unit worked very well with heating and air-con at a decent output. Bed was large and comfortable ( locally typically harder than usual western standards). Yes you can find a cheaper place including breakfast , but here you are paying for the location itself. Step outside and only meters to the shark building ( which they are knocking down next month) and the lake.

Room was very small based upon western standards as the bed took up most of the space per se ( think the measurements posted also included the bathroom space which is a bit misleading?). You have to shuffle around the tiny gap at the end of the bed end to get to the balcony. Bathroom shower head was very stiff/ slow and weak pressure, hence faster to use lower faucet option if you are in a rush for a shower.
