The location is fantastic, two minutes from the lake which is pedestrianised at weekends and a great spot at any time. You are right in the middle of the Old Quarter; most other monuments, museums and temples are within 30 min walk. The staff were polite and offered to store our luggage and waive the room fee for the night we went on the cruise. In the end, for convenience, we decided to leave all our stuff in the room because we were already unpacked. As we stayed for several days, staff were very friendly once they got to know us, even if not all spoke English.

The room was a bit on the small side, and the window opened onto a very narrow space with no view (basically a wall in front). This meant limited ventilation and natural light. I’d recommend spending a little more for a room at the front which has a balcony overlooking the street and the city (yes the street is loud but it’s part of the charm of Hanoi). Breakfast was modest which was perfect for me, but I felt a bit guilty as there were no other guests having breakfast which made me feel it was being prepared just for me.

A small hotel in the heart of the old quarter, a 5 minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake. Close to the market and many cafes for different tastes and wallets. Friendly host. Friendly staff on duty at the hotel all day and night. Breakfasts are served on the roof of the hotel, delicious eggs.

The linens on one of the beds were not changed before check-in. The windows of the condo face the street, so it is quite noisy at night (but this is the case almost everywhere in Hanoi).

The location was right in the middle, so expect being a big noisy from the outside at night when all the streets become street markets and pubs. Staff are great and helpful.

The external bathroom (it’s private tho). We felt uncomfortable going out from our room just to go to the bathroom coz the hallway between our bedroom and bathroom is public way and stairs so people from other floor walk through that hallway. So it felt strange.

Location was great. AC worked great. Staff was very helpful, answered any questions and helped me get transport from the airport and to my next stay.

A lot of noise at night but to be expected. Staff offered to move me to the higher rooms if noise was too much.

Excellent locations close to the main attractions. Superb security.

Since we were family of four, we requested for an extra room key but they didnt respond.

Friendly staff, great help from Tom with booking trips and taxis, very good location. We stayed in a room overlooking the street so lots to watch but surprisingly quiet.

Breakfast was in a top floor room and basic but fine. The hotel staff and adjacent tour agency were very helpful.
