The staff were excellent, very accommodating, friendly and gave fantastic customer service. They helped with any situation and addressed any issues as they arose. The location is perfect for staying in Hanoi as it was close to the Lake and to all restaurants and cafes etc. Definitely recommend staying in this area.

The hotel is quite basic, and the rooms are tired and small. The shower is in a very high bath, so you have to do the splits and hold onto the railing in order to get inside and not fall over. The shower/bath also leaked so the ground gets very wet. There is no swimming pool or bar, and the restaurant is only open for breakfast.

The staff at this hotel are so professional and willing to help. Some of the best people! All of the reviews that mention the helpfulness of Miss Anna are correct - she is a huge asset to the hotel. She made our stay in Hanoi so memorable, and it was lovely getting to know her a little. The hotel rooms are quite small, as are most in the old quarter, but it is a great hotel for exploring Hanoi. We really enjoyed our time at this hotel.

There is no air-conditioning in the foyer and passage ways. Probably good for conserving energy, but it can be quite hot in summer. Air-conditioning in the rooms is perfect though, which is where you really need it.

The staff is professional and helpful, the hotel is well located, the rooms are clean and well equipped, the breakfast is delicious (with a lot of choice).

Our room was too small for 2 people carrying big suitcases... Not much space to move around in the room, as the bed was taking most of the space. I know there are hotels in Ha Noi where the rooms are even smaller but this hotel is not cheap. Not really expensive, but not cheap either. Luckily, I already knew the size of the room when I booked it, and I got a discount on the price when I booked online. So it was not a very big problem for me, thanks to the discount.

Location is excellent

I think the owner of the hotel should invest more in renvation and fixing the bathrooms. I rent 3 rooms and all the bathrooms need some make over. Also one of the roos had ants, therefore they had to move my sister in a different room far from us.

The location is quite good, easy access to all the shops and eateries in Old Quarter. Hotel amenities are ok and rooms are not that big but they were relatively clean. One of our rooms did not have a safe for some reason - not a biggie. Staff are helpful and polite of course. They can help arrange tours which is a convenience though may not be 100% as described on certain details (e.g. Halong Bay trip /kayaking supposed to provide waterproof bag but not given, each person given one bottle of water instead of two). Nevertheless, compared to another place we stayed in the same area on the same trip, Flora is still better.

The "gym" is quite hopeless - very small, aircon was not working, treadmill unstable for running...it is not usable for any serious workout.

The staff is very friendly and helpful: the boys and girls at the reception, the restaurant staff. The hotel is clean and very close to many good restaurants and touristic points Anna was very very helpful and friendly. She booked us two wonderful tours, Ninh Binh and Ha Giang. She is very client oriented and wants the best for her clients. She also arranged the train tickets for us. Big thank you, Anna!

Staff were fantastic. Location was great, it was right in the centre of old quarter. It doesn't quiet look like the pictures. They're definitely edited so just be aware. But we would definitely stay again.

I have specific dietary requirements and the breakfast was not the best in that regard, there was very little options. However my husband really enjoyed his, he has no dietary issues. If you're looking for a gym, this probably isnt the place for you. We went to use the gym and it's got a few pieces of equipment that are not in great condition. This isn't a deal breaker for us but good to know if youre into your fitness.

The reception staff! Especially mentioning Jenny who hjelps with booking of trips, activities and general information, and manager, Lincoln, who were so helpful, knowledgeable, flexible, friendly and utterly professional every single day of our week long stay at Flora. It was Aldo a pleasure to be meg by doorboys Tho and Hieu leaving and entering the hotel, and they too were very helpful with anything we might need. The Hotel is smal, cozy and comfortable. The roms are small, but have everything you need: Comfortable beds, good water pressure in the shower and good AC. Hanoi is hot and humid in July! Breakfast options are limited, but has everything you need for a taste and healthy breakfast in a pretty environment. The kitchen staff was not half as charmimg as the rest of the staff, I have to say, but not to the extent that it bothered us. The hotel is situated close to the lake, in the middel of everything, withing walking distance of most attractions. I recommend getting up early to walk along the lake and see the locals danse and exercise from 6-7:30, before the heat sets in. So beautiful!

We spent 5 days at this hotel two weeks ago during our first visit to Hanoi, after having to book last minute due to our original hotel being canceled. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is ideally located in the Old Town, close to everything, which made exploring the area very convenient. The laundry service was efficient, reasonably priced, and a big plus. Our room was comfortable, with two windows and a cozy bed.

There wasn’t many choice at breakfast, particularly there were no gluten free options

The staff were very welcoming and accommodating. We arrived several hours late and just after Typhoon Yagi had hit HaNoi. In the circumstances a little water on the floor of our room was of no consequence. We had a bed! When our air con wasn't working we were shifted to another room with functioning AC immediately. Staff were always positive and helpful.

The photos on booking.com don't accurately represent the size of the room / are a little misleading as when booking I didn't realise the double bed was hard up against the wall on one side. Now for a younger demographic this would likely not be an issue, however, it would have been an issue for us. Luckily the 2nd room with working AC had a little more space around it although you had to sidle around the bed to get to the other side rather than walk. If we were to be there more than a few days I would have requested it be set up as two singles to better align with the space and improve accessibility for both of us.
