Excellently maintained and managed hotel in the very heart of the old quarter. My balcony suite was superbly comfortable and well air-conditioned. The staff assisted with tour bookings and local information - every request was dealt with smoothly and efficiently.

The only potential ‘negative’ turned out to be a very strong‘positive’. Breakfast is available daily, but the restaurant does not otherwise operate and there is no bar. I realised this was because there is no way they could compete with the live and bustling street food and bar scene right all around the hotel. Ask the staff for recommendations, and you’ll never need to walk far to eat well.

I had a very good time in Oriental suites hotel & spa. All the team was very nice and helpful with me ; every body really took care of me. Mr Richard helped me a lot!!! He gave me lot of information for the tours in the city and when I went to the cruise in Ha long Bay. Everything was very well organized. I enjoyed a lot the spa. All the girls are super and very professional; the massages are very good . I appreciate a lot their flexibility( one day I had not booked massage and they accepted that I could get a massage; I appreciate that the nice girl worked extra time!). The hotel is very well located.

It would be great if the hotel had a restaurant for lunch and dinner.

The location of this hotel is great; in the heart of the action and markets and very close to the Lake. The staff were friendly and very willing to assist in any way. The spa was very good and the girls there were lovely. I liked that my room had a balcony and there was a roof top area as well.

The breakfasts at the hotel were good but lacked range and food was often cold. There is an a la carte option which is nice but eggs benedict came out cold and were barely cooked. The sliding door to my room balcony was very hard to slide and when a couple of screws fell out and then a piece of the door itself there was no repair done. The beds are hard and in my room the shower was over the bath and very high to climb into with no safety rail. There is a rooftop area which is a nice option to view the city but there were only 3 chairs there and one of them had the metal seat all ripped and it was a bit dangerous. All that said I still did enjoy my stay at this hotel.

The hotel was Wonderfull, the staff were first class, they couldn’t do enough to help you. The breakfast was plentiful and well organised. The only problem we experienced was the location of the hotel and due to the street market the area is very busy and the traffic is nearly at a standstill !!! We arrived at the train station and booked a Grab taxi we waited 10mins and they cancelled. We then tried to book a normal taxi but they refused to take us to the hotel location due to the heavy traffic congestion. So we had to walk 5k with all our luggage through the traffic 👎 the next morning we needed a taxi back to the station and the Grab service cancelled again due to traffic around that area. Not the hotels fault !!!!

The Oriental Suites Hotel & Spa is my go to hotel when staying in Hanoi. It’s extremely well located in the old town and just a short walk to all major attractions. The rooms are modern, well equipped, very quiet and very clean. The air conditioning works well and the mattress was comfortable. Breakfast was included and very satisfying. The staff and management are exceptional, very friendly and always happy to help with any requests. I’ll be staying here again. Highly recommended.

The room rate was incredibly reasonable, especially given the hotel's prime location and the quality of the accommodations. My room was spacious, elegantly appointed, and spotlessly clean. But what really sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service. The concierge, Ms. Hanna, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was truly memorable. She provided invaluable recommendations on local attractions and restaurants, and even arranged for a private car to take me sightseeing. And Evelyn, the front desk manager, was a true professional and the epitome of hospitality. She greeted me with a warm smile every time I passed through the lobby, and was always available to answer my questions or offer helpful suggestions. Overall, I cannot recommend the Oriental Suites Hotel & Spa highly enough. If you're looking for a luxurious yet affordable hotel experience in Hanoi, look no further. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to the city.

Superb hotel. We enjoyed the stay. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Bathroom was spacious. Staff is extremely helpful. Each staff who interacted was extraordinary. The location is great. Right in the night market street that was so convenient to explore shopping. We literally shopped till we dropped.

The bathrooms had a strange stale smell. Something is not right in the drainage system. The breakfast is very limited. But the service from staff is exceptional. They are ready to serve and help.

Fabulous location, right in the thick of things...old quarter and the lake on your doorstep. The staff here are fabulous, so friendly and helpful. Do make sure to walk around the lake, in the morning you will find all the locals out dancing g, exercising and generally having fun. Old Quarter is vibrant, crazy and very busy...over weekends there is do much going on do just throw yourself into it all and go with it! We hired a guide to take us on a street food tour, so worth it as we learned so much.

Arriving Friday night after arriving at the airport 6pm-ish. Crazy busy roads so took even longer than it should have yo get to hotel. As there is the night market happening on the road outside the hotel you have to get out if taxi a street or two away. Make sure your taxi driver contacts the hotel so they come and meet you. A little overwhelming so if you can get there in the morning or early afternoon.
