The location of this hotel is great; in the heart of the action and markets and very close to the Lake. The staff were friendly and very willing to assist in any way. The spa was very good and the girls there were lovely. I liked that my room had a balcony and there was a roof top area as well.

The breakfasts at the hotel were good but lacked range and food was often cold. There is an a la carte option which is nice but eggs benedict came out cold and were barely cooked. The sliding door to my room balcony was very hard to slide and when a couple of screws fell out and then a piece of the door itself there was no repair done. The beds are hard and in my room the shower was over the bath and very high to climb into with no safety rail. There is a rooftop area which is a nice option to view the city but there were only 3 chairs there and one of them had the metal seat all ripped and it was a bit dangerous. All that said I still did enjoy my stay at this hotel.

The hotel was Wonderfull, the staff were first class, they couldn’t do enough to help you. The breakfast was plentiful and well organised. The only problem we experienced was the location of the hotel and due to the street market the area is very busy and the traffic is nearly at a standstill !!! We arrived at the train station and booked a Grab taxi we waited 10mins and they cancelled. We then tried to book a normal taxi but they refused to take us to the hotel location due to the heavy traffic congestion. So we had to walk 5k with all our luggage through the traffic 👎 the next morning we needed a taxi back to the station and the Grab service cancelled again due to traffic around that area. Not the hotels fault !!!!

Fantastic Stay at Oriental Suites Hotel & Spa I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Oriental Suites Hotel & Spa in Hanoi, and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. The room rate was incredibly reasonable, especially given the hotel's prime location and the quality of the accommodations. My room was spacious, elegantly appointed, and spotlessly clean. But what really sets this hotel apart is the exceptional service. The concierge, Ms. Hanna, went above and beyond to ensure my stay was truly memorable. She provided invaluable recommendations on local attractions and restaurants, and even arranged for a private car to take me sightseeing. And Evelyn, the front desk manager, was a true professional and the epitome of hospitality. She greeted me with a warm smile every time I passed through the lobby, and was always available to answer my questions or offer helpful suggestions. Overall, I cannot recommend the Oriental Suites Hotel & Spa highly enough. If you're looking for a luxurious yet affordable hotel experience in Hanoi, look no further. I will definitely be returning on my next visit to the city.

Superb hotel. We enjoyed the stay. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Bathroom was spacious. Staff is extremely helpful. Each staff who interacted was extraordinary. The location is great. Right in the night market street that was so convenient to explore shopping. We literally shopped till we dropped.

The bathrooms had a strange stale smell. Something is not right in the drainage system. The breakfast is very limited. But the service from staff is exceptional. They are ready to serve and help.

Fabulous location, right in the thick of things...old quarter and the lake on your doorstep. The staff here are fabulous, so friendly and helpful. Do make sure to walk around the lake, in the morning you will find all the locals out dancing g, exercising and generally having fun. Old Quarter is vibrant, crazy and very busy...over weekends there is do much going on do just throw yourself into it all and go with it! We hired a guide to take us on a street food tour, so worth it as we learned so much.

Arriving Friday night after arriving at the airport 6pm-ish. Crazy busy roads so took even longer than it should have yo get to hotel. As there is the night market happening on the road outside the hotel you have to get out if taxi a street or two away. Make sure your taxi driver contacts the hotel so they come and meet you. A little overwhelming so if you can get there in the morning or early afternoon.

The staff is very nice and helpful. The room facility is new and good conditions. The room, bathroom size are big and good.

The actual hotel we stayed is not the booked one, they are managed by the same company, but the one listed here actually closed already. This is a bit frustrated because when you arrived at the hotel, you saw a closed door with out of maintainence look building, you have to call the number on a paper of the door, and they will give you the new address, we have to walk more than 15 minutes to the new adress.

Location is good, as it is in the Old Quarter and within minutes walk of the lake. In weekends you have the night market, but as it stops at 11 pm it isn't that noisy after that time. Staff tried their utmost, are friendly and have a reasonable command of the English language. Room is large enough, and bathroom also.

The facilities could certainly be improved. The breakfast was a bit limited, and no good dine in possibilities (room services is only till 9 pm). The bed wasn't that comfortable, and we missed a better sitting option (only bed and two small hockers). Of your are limited in you movements, showering will be a challenge as you have to step into the bat tub which has a high sides. And while it wasn't dirty, it could be cleaner. A cashew nut from previous guests - we didn't eat nuts - was still under a cabinet, even after two days.

Came with my wife, we were treated exceptionally every time we encountered staff. Reception was great and breakfast was pretty good for the price. We didn't use the spa properly but it seemed nice, next time we certainly will use it. We rented a van to go to Halong bay on our last day and they promptly helped us cross the street with our luggage, fit it into the van and greeted us goodbye in the end. We really felt cared for and that really makes a difference. We left a nice tip into the tip jar and we recommended any other guests to do the same.

Air conditioning was ok, it was working, but it didn't seem to be strong enough. Sometimes in the night we woke up feeling warm. We didn't complain as we didn't care about it too much, but might be a thing to improve.
