The hotel staff were really helpful and pleasant. The ladies at the dining hall would always greet me with a smile. The bellman, although not smiling, was also attentive. The small balcony provided a pleasant view of the neighborhood. Although the single room was really small, it was clean and made up daily by the housekeeping staff. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of food.

My credit card was charged 30k VND more than the total amount. This is already on top of the 3% surcharge for using CC as form of payment. I was not sure if it was deliberate or not. Probably not. I only saw the credit card slip closely when I was already at the airport. Anyway, I just treated it as a tip to the staff. So make sure you double check the small printed slip where you see the actual charges to your card.

The location is perfect! You're in the middle of it all but tucked away so it isn't too loud. The breakfast was very nice with lots of options. We loved the pho. The hotel shower water was hot hot hot. The massage place across the street was awesome too!

The hotel listed an in room safe but the rooms didn't have them.

We stayed in room 608 for 3 nights. With the room right next to the elevator would be an issue, normally, but we didn't hear any sound at all. In fact, we didn't hear the street noise from where we were. The blackout curtain works very well. The room is small but it has everything we needed. The bed is king sized, bathroom sleepers are provided, as well as 2 bathrobes. The water pressure from the tap and shower is very strong. The wifi is available in the room. The spread from the breakfast is not large but adequate to satisfy both Western and Asian palate. All the personnel we came into contact with are always polite and with a ready smile. Special mention is Ms CiCi, who is a credit to the hotel as she provided solutions, suggestions, directions and alternatives, even before we arrived.

This is my second time visiting Hanoi this year, but my first time staying at Hanoi Flora Hotel—and I couldn’t have made a better choice! The location in the Old Quarter is perfect—close to all the key spots but tucked away enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The staff were so welcoming and made me feel at home right away. Even though I didn’t book any activities this time, they offered plenty of great suggestions and were always ready to assist. Their warmth and attentiveness really stood out. The room was cozy, spotless, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. While I don’t always have breakfast, I tried it once, and it was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and with a good variety of options. I enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to extend it, and I know for sure that I’ll be staying here again the next time I’m in Hanoi. Hanoi Flora Hotel has definitely become my go-to place in the city. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Hanoi! 🇻🇳

The value for money and location were incredible. It was a few streets away from the main part of town, meaning it was a bit quieter but still only a few minutes walk into the centre. The room itself was immaculate and exactly as pictured.

Our first morning was fine, but the next three mornings we realised the breakfast wasn't really included, it was more first in first serve. All we wanted to eat was fruit and once that had finished, they would not top up any breakfast items. We requested for extra fruit (which would have been the cheapest option available for breakfast), but unfortunately they would consistently mention they could not provide any more breakfast items than what was on the table. We were told on message that we could check in early at no cost if the room was available early. We arrived at 8am and in person, we were told we could pay to check in at 9am, or check in at 2pm. After further discussion, we were allowed to check in at 1pm at no extra cost, which contradicts what we had been told by them earlier.

Location, Staffs, New facilities. Easy to walk around to lake, night market, food, they have Travel desk so book some tour with them Halong, Ninhbinh for great value and excellent service. Highly recomended

We arrived the Hotel like 9am . And we understand that their check in time is 2pm but I tried to ask the front desk if it's possible for an early check in and they answered me they are going to message me if the room is already vacant and clean. We ate at Pho ly and when we go back to our hotel at 1030am they said they can accommodate us already for an early check in. They are very considerate April 15 the day we arrived was also my birthday 😊. So , we rest early and go out in the afternoon. The hotel is clean.Has a nice breakfast. All staff here is very friendly. To the front desk ,I'm sorry I didn't get your names but I guess one of the two ladies is Ms CiCi than you so much for being so accommodating and to the other lady thank you also If you go to Hanoi choose Hanoi Flora Hotel they are near -walking distance to some tourist spot like Hoan Kiem ..and cafe like the note coffee , restaurants like Bun cha Dak Kim . See you again end of this year.

The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful and respectful. We booked tours and bus tickets with their help. They also allowed us to let our bags in the hotel while we was in Cat Ba. It was also no problem to extend our trip and get a new room for a good price. Our room was cleaned every day and we got also every day new towels. All time hot water was avaible. For breakfast we have fruits, eggs and also warm dishes like noodles or potatoes. It was good.

Location is perfect. Staff/Customer service is excellent. Breakfast is very good! They even have a separate luggage storage room. They let us check in early around 11am. Probably they saw how tired we were from the flight. The rate per night is very reasonable and worth every penny. Thank you!

Room is a little outdated. A/C was a bit leaking. Sink is clogged. But overall, I still give it a 10 because the pros definitely overshadows the cons.

Location is great. Our day tours to Ninh Binh and Halong Bay was able to pick us up from the hotel. Good breakfast menu before sightseeing. There is a 24hr self service laundry 5 minutes walk from the hotel, which is very convenient. Staff was very helpful and knowledgable when we asked questions.

At certain times the road may be closed due to traffic control. But this is for other streets as well, and for safety reasons.
