He has great English and always willing to help, not only when we stayed at his hotel but throughout our 5 week trip in all of Vietnam, Jay was always just a whats app message away and willing to help us or make a plan. Even during his wedding he was still willing to assist with any questions we had. This man is a champion and a true gentleman. Thank you Jay. The hotel was in a great location. At the end of beer street. Even though I travelled with my wife and small kids, we were walking distance away from everything in Hanoi, but at the end of Beer street so not too noisy or busy in front of our hotel. Great stay.

All was good

Loved our stay at charming moon for 3 nights. The rooms were lovely and cold and clean. It’s situated right on the corner of beer street. Looking out onto the balcony you can see all 4 craft beer places on the intersection. The lovely man working saw my boyfriend’s birthday was that day in his passport and went out and bought him a cake and brought it to our room! Was the nicest thing to do ever. Would recommend staying here. Great value for money and even better location.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It's perfectly located in the heart of the Old Quarter, there are many many shops and restaurants nearby, and it’s just a quick walk to the lake. Jay at the reception was exceptionally helpful; he speaks excellent English and offered great recommendations without any pressure to buy. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were spacious, making for a really pleasant experience overall. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting!

Great location, right in the center of the Old Quarter The staff are incredibly friendly (shout-out to Jay) and offer excellent recommendations. Laundry services and airport transfer are available and they can also store your luggage. I found the bed comfortable, and I enjoyed the views from my balcony. I highly recommend choosing a room with a balcony as it adds great value to the experience—I stayed in both the deluxe and king rooms, and the balcony definitely enhanced my stay.

The hotel is centrally located for food entertainment and exercise. There is a lake nearby perfect for going for a run. Terry upgraded my room free of charge was ever helpful for choosing restaurants and organizing a ride to the airport. Wifi was consistent and fast. Highly recommend staying here.

Excellent location to explore city and especially old town. Room very clean and comfortable, good facilities

As in the centre if the old town, it can be very noisy through the night. however this is to be expected given the location. Street outside hotel smelly due to bin collection at night. this did not affect our stay as u can not smell this from the room & only when walking past.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It’s in a prime location in the old town. The decor inside is trendy and modern. The rooms are a good size and the beds/pillows are soft. The bathroom facilities are great - the shower worked well. The aircon also worked excellently.

The bathroom in the room is basically just a glass wall separating the bathroom from the bedroom and the door to the bathroom didn’t even shut properly or lock. You can also hear some noise coming from the streets in the night, but this is to be expected staying so central in the old town.

The location was excellent, right in the middle of the old quarter near all the markets and restaurants. Easy walking distance to the lake. Jay, the receptionist was fantastic, offered great advice and sent excellent instructions via What’s app for meeting up with our transfer driver. His suggestion of Ban Cong Coffee and Restaurant was awesome, we loved it. Thanks Jay!
