A small hotel in the heart of the Old Quarter, with the most amazing friendly helpful staff that went out of their way to meet our every need. This hotel by far exceeded our expectations and I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the essence of Hanoi City. The rooms were clean and fresh and the breakfast was delicious with a small buffet of fresh fruit, pastries, toast, cereal and coffee and juice and you could also order dishes from a menu. The location is fantastic - as soon as you step out the door you are immersed onto local Hanoi life with street food stalls and shops and its only a short walk to train street, beer street and Hoan Kiem Lake. Michael and Lien were amazing. As soon as I booked they contacted me to ask if there was anything I needed help organizing. They arranged for us to be picked up from the airport, booked us on a fantastic day trip to Ninh Binh and an overnight trip to Halong Bay. They offered to mind our excess luggage when we went to Halong Bay and even gave us a room to freshen up in before our overnight train. Michael recommended places for us to eat and even offered to take us there. Totally above and beyond what you would expect from hotel management.

We loved our one week experience at this hotel. Excellent location in the Old Quarter. Walked everywhere. Staff were wonderful. Friendly, thoughtful and accomodating. We very much enjoyed interacting with Lien, Bun and Binh every day. Price of big breakfast, including anything from the buffet and menu, was very reasonable. Thoughtful housekeeping, like draping my cell phone cord over the pillow so it wouldn't get lost in the bedding. Good sized room with king bed (very firm mattress) and two night tables. Bench at foot of bed was a nice touch. Big shower. Desk, counter, closet and shelves made it easy to store our things. In-room safe, kettle and fridge. Attractive, clean and comfortable.

Balcony was tiny, about 4' x 2' with one small chair and table. Not big enough for two people. Wifi was reasonable when it worked for basic TV viewing or Internet browsing but too unreliable for large uploads or video conferencing (we suspect this may be a general Internet service problem not unique to this hotel but we found our roaming cellular data more reliable) TV was a little dated and troublesome. We didn't try to watch much TV, but when we did we couldn't get our Netflix  or Amazon Prime streaming services to work on it)

very helpful and friendly staff. breakfast was very good . the hotel location's perfect very closed to the train street cafes and many restaurants ,Hoan Kiem lake and night market. Michael the hotel manager booked flights to Ho Chi Minh city for us and also did arrange the food tour and Halong Bay and Ninh Binh trips for us very convenient .Michael took us around the Hanoi Old Quarter and tasted eggs coffee which was great. Thank you Mike and your team for your great hospitality and service. We will stay here foresure next time visiting Hanoi.

As a solo female traveller I can't recommend this place enough. The staff was great. They got in touch with me before I landed. Helped me book my transfers from and to the airport. Also gave me recommendations for tours, restaurants and practically anything I needed.

The hotel was clean and modern all the staff were friendly and professional. Ms Lien Mr Michael were terrific hosts Ms Lien organised some tours for me I was so impressed by the overall experience I decided to extend my stay. The breakfast was yummy and plentiful and the location is great for exploring the Old quarter I will definitely return when I'm back in Hanoi

The newest and cleanest hotel I’ve stayed at in Vietnam! The room looks exactly like the pictures. We had the room with the large terrace and it was so nice to see above the city. Quiet, great A/C, comfy bed, Smart TV, fridge, electric kettle and standing shower. The hosts are also so friendly and warm so you will feel so welcomed every time you come in the door. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

It is for me like my home. Whatever you ask for the staff is very helpful. The location in the heart of the old town and exceptional many good restaurants around make it easy to stay and to taste so many dishes from Vietnam and the world around.

Traffic is quite massive. But take a room in the backside!

Cleanliness, location, price and staff.

Our first 2 nights were in a very small tight room with no exterior window. After an overnight trip to Halong bay we spent another night and that room was awesome. 10/10 where the other room without an exterior window I would give a 7/10.

We were only there for one night, but overall the hotel was good and satisfied our requirements with regard to its location. The room was comfortable with an ensuite bathroom and the bed was very comfortable

Staff were really friendly and welcoming, the location was excellent, and the rooms were nice and clean and spacious - would definitely recommend staying here.

We booked a “family suite” but really it’s just two rooms down the corridor from each other, so it’s a bit misleading. We also booked a street food tour through the hotel - the tour was pretty good but the price was really really expensive, more than what we have seen online. Partly our fault for not asking the price first, but I guess we trusted the staff to give us a good deal as they were so friendly.
