Property is in a stunning location , the rooms were stunning, and the staff exceptional. The staff absolutely went out of their way to help and make us feel so valued as a customer . Breakfast !!!! - the best food . We had an adjoining room, teens in attendance . We cannot speak highly enough of the accomodation and this is excellent value for money compared to travelling elsewhere. It was a luxury holiday . We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights. Delighted with the accomodation . Quite clean and excellent air con. Beautiful bathrooms . Room service meals very affordable

My only feedback would be insufficient space by the pool. We didn’t use because others had placed their towels on the loungers. A policy of not allowing people to put belongings on a lounger and then leaving would be worthwhile .

This hotel is amazing! Firstly, the room is beautiful. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is spacey. I wish we stayed longer in Hanoi just so we can stay in this hotel for a longer time. I love their breakfast. It has a lot of choices. Also, their staffs are so knowledgeable and friendly, especially when I wanted to book a city tour; they really go out of their own way to help. The location of the hotel is also amazing! It's basically in the middle of the Old Town, and it has 2 Michelin Guide eateries that are short walking distance from the hotel. I really recommend staying here!!

Fantastic Location in the Old Quarter. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Very good buffet breakfast with a large selection. Good coffee.

The pastries at breakfast both mornings tasted weird, almost like the butter had gone off.

Everything was Perfect! The staff went above and beyond and were so kind when we got sick (bringing us tea, moving us to a more quiet room, checking on us, etc.). The hotel is amazing, with super comfortable beds,a lovely breakfast buffet, a nice rooftop pool, and good food! The spa services are insanely good, and the staff is so kind and takes an interest in you &what you need. The masseuses are incredibly skilled (best massage I have ever had). They have a sauna, steam room. The only thing is the jacuzzi is open to all (so sometimes a bit noisy when you are in the sauna area). The Vietnamese cuisine was delicious, but sadly it's on the basement floor, and the European restaurant gets a nice outdoor view.

Had some drilling from the neighbouring hotel. But the hotel helped to change our room to a more quiet one + upgrade. Jacuzzi area is shared, so a bit noisy

Fabulous hotel that deserves its five star rating. Service cannot be faulted and the hotel interior decor was amazing. I loved the choice of colours and art design. All staff were wonderful and helpful. Long assisted us well especially with our bags being delayed by our flight . Great communication on his part to keep us informed and updated. I forget the lady in the spa receptions name but she was wonderful and assisted us well. Masseuses were amazing I believe we both feel asleep and woke up refreshed. Facilities were wonderful and staff were constantly eager to help and assist us. I will definitely recommend this hotel and stay again when I return

The staff at Periodot hotel is the best of the best. They really go above and beyond. Our lobby receptionist was super helpful. It was my Husband's birthday and she let the restaurant manager know about it so we received a surprise birthday cake the next morning at Break fast. The Restaurant manager went above and beyond and recommended a lovely dinner location for us. She even made sure our bookings for additional days were done for us even when we were outside of Hanoi. You really feel like you're being catered too to the full extent. The location of this hotel is right in the middle of the action but you can still have a restful night. Breakfast buffet was next level! Facilities are excellent! including pool, jacuzzi, rooftop bar and a Spa.

We loved our stay at this hotel so much that we have rebooked it for our last night in Hanoi. Perfectly located in the Old Quarter with the most wonderful staff, we loved everything about this hotel. Very comfortable bed with gorgeous bed linen, great shower and lovely areas to relax and enjoy. We had great drinks up at the rooftop bar, and lots of breakfast options to choose from each morning. All of the staff were exceptional but we’d like to mention Helen and Julie specifically as really making us feel so very special during our stay.

Our room only had a small window so the room felt a little dark. To be honest, this didn’t bother us too much as we spent the majority of our time exploring the city.

Review: The Peridot Grand Hotel, Hanoi We had an amazing stay at The Peridot Grand Hotel. The property is exceptionally clean, and the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our visit. While the room was smaller compared to what we experienced in Da Nang, it didn’t negatively affect our stay. The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom—with both bath and shower—was a definite highlight. One drawback was the noise level during the day. Being in the heart of Hanoi means the city is always buzzing, and from our room on level 5, we could clearly hear music and street noise. This made it hard to relax or take an afternoon nap. Fortunately, the noise seemed to die down in the evening, so we still managed a good night’s sleep. Storage space was limited, with only one cupboard in the room, which can be a bit tight for two people. On the plus side, the breakfast selection was amazing—plenty of variety and great quality. The hotel’s rooftop pool and bar were also fantastic and provided a great spot to unwind. The central location is ideal for exploring Hanoi on foot, but with the chaotic traffic and maze of side streets, we often opted for Grab rides instead. That said, the hotel makes a perfect base for long day trips around the region. Overall, a wonderful stay with only a few minor inconveniences. Would definitely recommend The Peridot Grand Hotel for anyone visiting Hanoi.

One of the highlights of my visit was the hotel’s superb spa. The facilities were absolutely relaxing and clean. From the rejuvenating massages to the tranquil ambiance, it was the perfect escape after a long day exploring Hanoi’s Old Quarters. The spa staff were skilled and attentive, making the experience even more special. Beyond that, the room I stayed was spotless, the amenities were fantastic, and the entire staff was friendly and accommodating. Every aspect of my stay exceeded expectations. This hotel had a beautiful entrance, very central with a lot of restaurants nearby. The lobby has a unique visual style, we really felt like we were in a James Bond movie walking into the lobby. The windows had an amazing raindrop water features. Breakfast room was elegant and had quite a good variety of food. The customer service here is exceptional, the Supervisor Phi Long explained everything to us even little things so we are aware of it all. He even sent a private message with places to eat/ tour in Hanoi and he was super thoughtful. Now that’s someone who loves his job and cares about his Guests, he was brilliant!

The hotel room was a little bit small so won’t have enough space for too many luggages. Since the hotel is central, the view from the windows are other neighbouring old buildings. No steam Vent in the bathroom, so if you’re having a hot shower, the whole room will fog up but the windows can be opened which is not a problem unless at night time mosquitos can come inside.
