A Delightful Stay in Hanoi My recent stay in Hanoi was an absolute pleasure. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff who were always ready to assist with a smile. Their exceptional service truly made my trip memorable. The hotel itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The rooms were comfortable, cozy, and provided a peaceful retreat after a long day of exploring the city. The attention to detail in the room's decor and amenities was evident, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. The hotel's location was ideal, placing me within easy reach of Hanoi's historic Old Quarter and other popular attractions. The bustling streets, vibrant markets, and delicious street food were all just a short walk away. The culinary experience at the hotel was equally impressive. The restaurant offered a diverse menu featuring both local and international cuisine. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The breakfast buffet was a delightful way to start the day, with a wide array of fresh fruits, pastries, and hot dishes to satisfy every palate. Overall, my stay at the hotel was exceptional. The combination of friendly staff, clean accommodations, delicious food, and convenient location made it an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.

everything was very well. Nothing to dislike.

We booked a room with indoor window. The room was really quiet and cozy and the bed was very comfortable! We also appreciated the delicious breakfast buffet with Asian and international food. The location of this hotel is truly awesome. Right between the old quarter and train street, but in a quiet side alley. And the staff was very friendly. Christine from Customer relations was especially helpful. She booked a trip to Halong Bay for us as well as a super comfortable bus ride to our next destination. We highly recommend this hotel!

Not a major problem but still noteworthy: my wife is scared of elevators and uses the stairs often. She felt really bad because the stairs were clearly used as storage space. It would be nice to have them as a real option.

First class service from Austin, Ling and Billy. Especially from Austin who is a class above, ensuring we have dinner reservations and activities are in order. Not an easy feat considering as there are 8 of us. Location is perfect and is shielded from the usual noise as it is off the main roads. Easy access to food and walking distance to Sword Lake. They even have bicycles to use if you are brave enough to cycle in the Hanoi traffic. Breakfast is good although it can get a little boring as we were in the hotel for a total of 7 days.

Water pressure in the showers is low.

The employees were very welcoming and helpful. I managed to get my (non-refundable) reservation duplicated while making reservations. The employees were very patient and helped me get it all straight without double charging me. Then our flight was delayed, causing us to miss 2 of the 3 nights we were scheduled to stay. Again, this was a non-refundable reservation. That said, we were upgraded to a nicer room at no charge (without even asking for it!). They made every effort to help us make the most of our one day in Hanoi. The buffet was exceptional as were the servers.

The employees made our stay exceptional. I have nothing to complain about.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, we had just finished the Ha Giang Loop and were looking to unwind a little. This hotel provided that in abundance, the bed was soft and the comfiest we have had in Vietnam. Large kingsize pillows and robes and slippers. The room was clean, spacious and everything we could have needed was provided. We did our washing here as well, dropped it off at 9:30am and received it back by 6pm washed and dried as well as folded (100k VND per KG). Bathroom had everything in it too, large waterfall shower which was hot and had amazing pressure. Furthermore, we used the spa facilities (sauna and massage) the sauna was £12 for about 45 minutes usage and Binh gave my partner the best massage she has had on our 2 month trip around SE Asia. They also provided tea, watermelon juice and cold fruit prior to the spa. Breakfast on the 8th floor was delicious and had so many options. Reception in general were so amazingly kind and thoughtful, they went above and beyond at all times, providing us breakfast to take away, as we were leaving before 6:00 and they even called our Grab driver to ensure we were picked up and dropped off at the correct locations. Unfortunately didn’t get this receptionists name but he was an absolute gent!

The one thing was that our toilet had a slight leak when we arrived but not a big deal for us.

Hotel and its facilities were new, well maintained and clean! We got the family room, which was neat, comfortable and spacious. The hotel, despite situated at a prime location (very near train street), was not noisy at all and in fact was for a very reasonable and affordable price. The food was of exceptional quality, notably the pineapple and rockmelon. But above all, we sincerely appreciated the staff we encountered - they were extremely extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive - across all functions, reception, restaurant, doormen. They went the extra mile by providing recommendations on highly rated meals we could try in Hanoi, attractions to visit, and checked in on us in a friendly, hospitable and professional manner proactively. Strongly recommend Hanoi Lion Boutique Hotel for visitors to Hanoi, the generosity of the staff definitely amplified our positive experience in Vietnam!

i liked everything about this hotel. from room upgrade the a/c was magnificent in the room . maintained and cleaned regular. staff very good helpful spoken very good English as well and understood my questions . the breakfast was outstanding. great choice. the hotel had a great location so you could walk around quite easily. had 2 bars 1 on the ground floor and on the 8 floor which was available hen and if you needed it.

i didnt like the fact hotel tried to take payment before i arrived so had to update the card on booking.com . The hotel was a little pricey so if it was cheaper be 10 out of 10.

Highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Hanoi. Hotel is centrally located to everything within walking distance in the old quarter. Hotel was beautiful and the Staff were amazing who couldn’t do enough to make our stay next level. I have stayed in many different hotels across the world but can easily say that the customer service in this hotel was the best. Justin the General manager was lovely and who arranged for a lovely surprise for our arrival as it was an anniversary. And a special mention to Kaylie who works on reception, who was so kind and thoughtful, going out of her way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable giving recommendations and local knowledge. She gave a personal touch and I think we will miss her the most.

It was our first family trip in 10 years, and Hanoi has changed a lot. The only thing that remains the same is the friendliness and hospitality of its people. This hotel was by far the best one we stayed at during our entire vacation. We are a family of three and originally booked a room with an internal window for a cozy and quiet environment. From the moment we checked in, the staff were professional and friendly. They even upgraded us to the Family Suite Terrace, which came with two queen-sized beds. It was spacious yet still cozy, and completely quiet at night. The location is ideal—you can reach almost every place within 10 minutes. Plus, there are plenty of options available at the concierge desk if you haven’t fully planned your trip. The price was also very reasonable and accessible. The highlight of our stay was definitely the incredible staff: Rose, Billy, Austin, Ann, Katherine, and their manager, Mrs. Kim. They were always willing to help and went the extra mile to make us feel as comfortable as if we were at home. It was a true pleasure for our family to be accompanied by such amazing people. Keep up the great work, everyone!

Really polite staff who are a credit to the hotel. Arranged to take our bags up on arrival, offered welcome drink, kindly booked a food tour for us and the guide came to pick us up at the hotel which made things very easy. Excellent location for access to old quarter sights, we walked everywhere. Hotel made us a little dessert at breakfast time to celebrate our honeymoon which was a nice touch. Breakfast options plenty (especially earlier in the morning), their pho and poached eggs were superb. Really comfy bed. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Hanois old quarter is a busy place. Nights were quite noisy here, we used ear plugs that we had from our plane which helped. We were on floor 6 which probably helped insulate from the worst of it. Didn't hear noise from other rooms though.
