We absolutely loved our stay here. The staff were exceptional — genuinely kind, attentive, and always ready to help with recommendations or logistics. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the Old Quarter but still calm once inside. The sound-proofing is impressive (a real gift in Hanoi!), and the breakfast spread was delicious and varied — especially the made-to-order pho and strong Vietnamese coffee.

A small note: the spa attached to the hotel (run separately) could use some improvement to match the hotel’s otherwise excellent standards.

The staff is so nice, really... every single person is nice, friendly and very attentive. From the first contact at the reception, up to the ladies at the breakfast. Always ready to help, answer questions - we initially were staying two nights, but than booked and extra night at our return from Ha Long Bay cruise... I booked that night in the evening, and in the morning - the receptionist already got what we wanted to do, before I had a chance to say anything. We could leave our packed luggages in the room, they took care of all - and at our return, the suitcases were already in our next room. Perfect service from A to Z, really! The breakfast is nice - the buffet part is not that big, but each guest can order two warm options from the menu and that is really sufficient. I would 100% come back to this hotel at any time!

The hotel doesn't have a swimming pool - which we knew before. It's a pity as otherwise we would have stayed longer, but we "needed" the pool for some days to make the kids happy.

Lovely place to stay, very clean with well appointed decor. We upgraded to a larger room with a street view which we liked the extra luxury this offered. Very comfortable bed and pillows. We liked the walk-in shower. We were given complementary tea and snack whilst being checked in. The staff are exceptional, they even learned our names which gave a lovely personal touch. The staff asked us what we’re doing on each day we left the hotel to offer us advice or guidance to help us get the most out of our days exploration. The breakfast each morning was very nice and was changed slightly each day to give us some variation. Did I mention just how friendly and helpful the staff are? (Nancy,Leo and all front of house staff).

Nothing.

This boutique hotel located at a busy roundabout in the Hanoi Old Quarter punches above its weight. Every staff member was extremely helpful from Door Man, all of the Front Desk staff to the two ladies effectively managing the breakfast room on the 6th floor. The room we had, a Junior Suite, had plenty of personality, especially thanks to a range of effective room lighting options. The bathroom is large. Ms. Lan, the Customer Service Director, was always extremely helpful, no matter our request over our three night stay.

Breakfast buffet, included with the room, served a pot of strong instant coffee which was very disappointing. Fruit selection was also disappointing. On the street we could easily buy mango, papaya, kiwi and watermelon but these fruits were not routinely available on the breakfast buffet. The spa does not have private treatment rooms, only tables divided by a curtain, so it is noisy and not relaxing. Therapists were okay for full body massage, but not memorable in their technique. No sauna available.

- staff: every single staff member was kind, helpful and attentive. they knew us personally, asked about days, if we need any help (like where do i go for a haircut, great tip!) and even prepared early takeaway breakfast for the airport on the checkout morning. thank you!:) - room: very comfortable bed, great selection of tv channels, hot showers, great service. - overall amazing price-quality ratio, i would recommend staying here and i will be back if i am ever in Hanoi again. - breakfast: amazing selection, freshly made for ordering, helpful staff.

The service provided by the staff was truly outstanding. They went out of their way to help us with booking taxis and making restaurant reservations. On top of that, they decorated our room for my son’s and husband’s birthdays, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is centrally located, and the breakfast was delicious.

I honestly can't think of anything I didn’t like about the hotel.

Breakfast is good and with enough choices. The location is good and within walking distance to the centre where the lake is. The staff is very good particularly Grace and Iris at the front desk. I was even able to WhatsApp back to the hotel for information while outside of the hotel. They also prepared a sandwich and fruit baox for me take and other guests to take with us as we departed too early to have breakfast before leaving for the tour.

While the bed is ok but the pillows are a little bit too stiff.

Perfect base in Hanoi in the old quarter! Everything about our stay was amazing Staff at the front desk and restaurant were so friendly and helpful. Leo at the front desk especially helpful - suggesting places for us to visit. Breakfast was a lovely start to the day, can order off menu and also a buffet. Room was large, comfortable, kept nice and cool which was a respite from the heat! Especially lovely feature was offering a shower end of the day, and to relax in the foyer as we were catching overnight train to sapa. Perfect after a day of exploring Absolute perfect place to stay in Hanoi old quarter

Great staff make up for some deficiencies. Partial payable think they need to decide to be real 3 or 4 star. And be more careful on describing the rooms. Incredible number of reception staff on duty considering how few rooms!

The hotel is a bit strange, only one room wide on the narrow side. Doesn’t come across in the photos and there are worse in the area First room was upgrade to a junior suite. But there are two type, one v gloomy one a bit less so I chose the next category for next nights. Bigger nicer brighter but more expensive. Breakfast as a few reviews mention is not great and not 4 star. Orange juice watered down and with sugar, no cappuccino and no mango. As a European I refuse to eat airshipped mango so in a country where it falls of tree and is for sale on every street corner I expect it in the buffet.

Can’t say enough about this hotel. From the location to staff it was just an incredible stay. Nancy, LAN and Jolie were proactively asking how we were and if there was anything they can do to make our stay exceptional. Breakfast was also very good. It was in a nice area with a balcony and a lot of natural light. They had a large variety of food with natural juices. Distilled water, fruit, made to order breakfast the Pho soup was really good. The hotel was very clean. The lobby was inviting. 100% would recommend this place.
