I booked this hotel because of the location which is very convenient in Hanoi. The price was low so my expectations were not very high but It turned out to be an excellent choice that exceeded my expectations. Even before I arrived I received a WhatsApp message from Sophie from Guest Relations providing me with information. I had some issues getting the A/C to work and the problem was addressed immediately. The hotel was clean, there was plenty of hot water with good pressure for a shower. Everyone at the hotel was pleasant and helpful. There were not many choices for breakfast but the food was tasty. They even gave me a bite to go on a morning when I had an early tour and no time for sit-down breakfast. Kudos to Sophie and the team at Lucky 3 Hotel.

My only complaint about the property is that they did not mention in the notes that they would charge 4% for using a credit card for payment. And one other thing to note is that usually when a kettle is available in a room there is some tea or coffee also provided but here there was only a kettle.

This hotel stay was luxurious and added amazing value to my trip. The location near Hoan Kiem Lake was incredibly convenient! It was close to the train station and Old Quarter. Within a few steps I had access to a Circle K, Pharmacity, places to eat, many places to buy street food, coffee shops, booking agencies, supply vendors, laundry service, and anything else you need. The hotel provided daily housekeeping, high speed internet, a full breakfast service in the morning, a rooftop terrace as described, and the room was exceptionally clean. All the fixtures and hardwood furniture were excellently maintained and in good working condition. The room was very spacious and included a large balcony with a street view and fully functional bath tub with a shower. You can soak in a lovely hot bath, enjoy a hot cup of tea with the kettle inside the room, and plan your next destination on their fast WiFi! Ms. Sophie and her Guest Relations Team are always hard at work to serve the needs of their guests! I felt so comfortable, safe and well cared for from the moment I entered and when I left! I planned my visit mostly on my own but I am certain that if you needed tour suggestions or ideas for where to visit that they would offer great recommendations! I stayed in the Old Quarter for five days and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. I will book again in the future!

It would be helpful to update any guestbook materials and signs that advertise services the hotel no longer offers like the Sunset Bar and Restaurant sign inside the elevator.

I had the pleasure of staying here for three nights and was deeply impressed by the exceptional service provided by the team. Despite the rainy weather throughout most of my stay, the staff consistently went above and beyond to assist me with every request. Their friendliness, kindness, and dedication made my experience truly memorable. In particular, I would like to commend the manager, Sophie, for her outstanding support. She was always quick to respond, attentive to every detail, and went the extra mile by recommending a variety of delicious food, beverages, and desserts that enhanced my stay. I would also like to extend my appreciation to the receptionists, Ms. Trinh and Ms. Phuong, who were both highly professional, helpful, and responsive. Their attentiveness and warm hospitality ensured that all of my needs were met promptly and with genuine care. Overall, the entire team delivered service of the highest standard, and I am sincerely grateful for their efforts. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone seeking a welcoming and well-managed place to stay.

I booked this hotel due to the reviews suggesting that it should be strong enough for video-call wifi, and it was. There are different connections in the hotel and, on the floor I was on, one of them provided a work-stable network and there was a desk to work from. The bed was comfortable for those who like a firmer mattress and the hotel is well-located. It's a no frills experience so 8/10 is for the wifi, location and overall value for money.

On the 6th floor some of the lights weren't working in the corridor to the room and the overall vibe might have seemed a bit creepy for a lone female traveller.

No coffee, nor tea bags in the room, only an electric pot and small cup for espresso.

This hotel is in a great location only a few minutes walk to all attractions and great local shopping, it was spotlessly clean, we had a fantastic balcony which was great to sit out on on hot nights and relax with a drink, they also serve a wonderful breakfast and you have a choice of Pho, eggs, fresh fruits,yoghurt etc. also juice and coffee, it’s a lovely old building in the old quarter which is fascinating, but what really made our holiday perfect was the wonderful staff, absolutely nothing was too much trouble, from the cleaning staff who cleaned our room daily, to the reception staff who helped us out with taxis and directions for ATM and restaurants, if I return to Hanoi I will definitely stay there again, this is highly recommended to anyone who wants a fantastic experience for a great price, they also were extremely flexible with our late arrival, and they provide airport pick up and drop off, do yourself a favour and book here and I hope you have a perfect holiday just as we did here.

Nothing it was fantastic

I stayed at Lucky 3 Hotel in Hanoi and had a great experience. The location is central and convenient, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast was included. What really stood out was the amazing service, especially from Sophie. She was always kind, helpful, and very responsive via WhatsApp. She helped me with all my questions and made me feel very welcome. I truly appreciated her support during my stay. Highly recommend!

My room faced a wall, which reduced the natural light. There was a kettle and cups, but no tea bags or coffee provided.

The staff were very kind and helped us after our first night. They offered us a different room which was more quiet.

The walls are not insulated, so you hear everything that happens inside the building. The first night we slept on the 3rd floor and couldn't sleep because of the noise from the lobby and because the room next to us checked in at 4am. You hear literally everything! For the next 2 nights we moved to a room on the 6th floor, where you can't hear what's going on in the lobby but you can still hear from the hallway and the rooms next to you. We slept with earplugs so it was tolerable. The communication with the manager was unbearable. He was rude and made us want to leave immediately. On the other hand, the girls at the reception were great and very helpful. The room could be more clean and the beds are *very* hard

The staff were amazing. Our room, although central, was tucked at the back and so super quiet that we loved it! The shower and towels were excellent. They had a small outside roof terrace that gave great city views.

The bathroom was on the small side, and the room furniture was too large for the bedroom, which made the room feel cramped.

This hotel is amazing! We loved the interior decor, with comfortable wooden flooring in a classical style, massive beds and a powerful shower. The staff were very helpful and speak very good English. We've stayed in many places throughout Vietnam and this is one of the best. The buffet breakfast is amazing, with as much coffee as you can drink and the food gets refilled so you can have as much as you want Thanks for a wonderful stay
