The staff were available 24 hours and were always polite and friendly. Jim at the front desk introduced us to many tours, but due to schedule changes, we asked him to help us book a private car to Ninh Binh. I don't have streaming data on my phone as I was only in Vietnam for a short few days. The staff provided a great paper map so I could easily find my way around and they gave me directions using it. The location of the hotel in the old town is excellent. I can easily walk to many attractions in Hanoi and there are restaurants and some small shops nearby. The morning breakfast buffet has some delicious items.

The elevator is not air-conditioned and not available at the lobby level.

The staff were very helpful. Special thanks to Mr Jim (not sure if that's how he spells his name) from the front desk. He went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed our visit to the country. He helped us book a tour at a very good price and due to a ship problem, he upgraded us to another bigger, higher class ship with great service without any extra charge.

We came to Royal palace hotel straight off a 12 hour flights and we were warmly welcomed by Max manager who showed us to our upgraded balcony room. The room was excellent, very clean and comfortable and great shower. Breakfast was amazing. Delicious food, fantastic variety and excellent coffee. Max was so helpful in organising for us a private tour Sapa and even while we weren’t staying at Royal palace hotel anymore, he kept in contact and made sure we arrived safely in Sapa. The hotel has a nice location, convenient to go to the center and the church. staff is always friendly and smiling. Jimmy helps me find a good restaurant and book grab.

Just checked out of this hotel after a & righe sitay Location is pertect, within walking distance to everything you want to visit in Hanci We booked e superior and for the price we paid, I dont Piel you'l frd a better room in Hanoi for the location The best part about the hotel is the staff, such amazig peeple who genuinely want you to heve the bout stay. Nothing is ever tee much ter tem, Pey ge out their way to make your stay memorable. From recommendro paces to see and sat, also booking our transters to and from the argot, they codast do more and we appreciate everything they die for un All steft are so helpful but in partiodier, the mais 3 peogle we dealt with were Me Jimmi ( think is his name, austomer serice marager), Corg (n the restaurant) and Thao (suly for short). We came to Hanoi to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. Staying at the Royal Palace Hotel 2 is the best decision we made. Everything went so smoothly from the moment we arrived at the airport until the day we left. First off, we had the transport ready to pick us up, and all the staff were very nice and friendly when we arrived at the hotel. We had a welcome drink and snacks while they get everything ready. I mentioned in my email that we were celebrating our anniversary, and they made the room extra special for us. We felt so welcomed and well taken care of. From Jimmy who checked us in and gave us tips on where to eat and where to go, to Sulli who escorted us to our room and was always there to help, to Ba who took care of our luggage. We can feel their genuine friendliness and eagerness to help. What I appreciated was that when we for a 3-day tour they kept our extra luggage until we returned. The room is very clean, the hotel is close to everything. It was close to the main road, yet it was not noisy. We enjoyed a restful sleep. And oh, our stay included a free breakfast. There are a lot of food choices, all delicious and well-presented. Overall, we had a very pleasant and memorable stay. We will surely come back again someday and highly recommend this hotel to those planning to visit Hanoi.

Stayed here a few times whilst touring Vietnam. Loved this hotel. It's in a great location in the old quarter. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. The buffet breakfast is wonderful with a great choice and variety of foods. One of the highlights of this hotel is the warm friendly and helpful staff at the front desks and restaurant. I was feeling a little under the weather on my last stay. I asked at reception where the nearest pharmacy was and the young lady immediately offered to take me there and helped me get the correct medicine. At breakfast the next morning the waitress had heard I was unwell and asked if she could get any particular food for me. She then made me a superb cup of ginger tea! Great service above and beyond expectations. The staff really helped me enjoy a fabulous time in Hanoi. Thank you so much I hope to be back one day !

Excellent, first time visit to Hanoi. This was facilitated in part by the support of Hotel Staff, namely, Suly at the front desk and Jenny, the Hotel's tour agent. Prior to the trip, communications with Jenny helped me and my family plan options that were appropriate for two elderly tourists. On arrival, Suly took the initiative to upgrade our room in order to maximize our experience of Hanoi with views of the city. Each day, Hotel staff members checked in to make sure we were taken care of. This attention to detail ensured a most relaxing time in Hanoi. I will return once more.

My husband and I traveled to Hanoi for three nights in January and had a wonderful stay at Hanoi Royal palace Hotel. The hotel is ideally located for exploring the city. We were able to walk everywhere (granted, we walked a lot!) and there were tons of restaurants, cafes, and bars located within a few blocks. We were very impressed with the hospitality at the hotel. Upon arriving after midnight we were warmly greeted by Lien (who is the best!), given a run-down of the city, and shown to our room, which was very spacious. We loved our stay at Hanoi Royal Palace and would recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi.

As there is two royal palace hotels we got confused at first and arrived to royal palace 2 the staff was very nice and escorted us to the right hotel by helping us with our luggage! They are all super sweet here, as it is really humid and really hot outside you get more tired its now 32 degrees and it's just 10 o'clock, as soon as we arrived we were welcomed with cold drinks which were refreshing after the long journey we had, as we knew we want to go to Halong bay our lovely receptionist offered us amazing Halong bay tours as we were really tired and figured that it would be just the best way how to book it he went above and beyond to offer us the best Halong bay cruise we went for 2 days and one night it was so amazing we were so thankful that he organised it for us !! It was just what we wanted !! Overall our room is amazing here we have a balcony because we are smokers :D but it's amazing it's not nosy at all, you will love this hotel after a day out because their A/C is just amazing and it feels so good after a long day to come to a refreshing room. Overall the staff here goes through so much to make your stay so pleasant it just wonderful. All the staff members at this hotel are just so amazing and we really value everything that they are doing for us and every one else in this hotel! Thank you !
