I usually don't post a detailed review unless a facility is either absolutely outstanding or completely atrocious, but I felt the need to do so for this hotel. The hotel facilities itself are really worth an 8 out of 10 but it's the staff that make this place remarkable, they score a solid 10, particularly Ms Aimee Tran at the front desk. Her English is impeccable and she goes above and beyond to offer her assistance to ensure that your stay and visit to Hanoi is as seamless and enjoyable as possible. Thank you Aimee and I wish you all the best with your future endeavours, you will certainly go very far!

A really lovely hotel to stay in when visiting Hanoi. Every member of staff is so friendly & helpful & always smiling. We were made feel so welcome and given great tips on places to visit and restaurants to eat in as well as day trips on offer. Our room was clean and comfortable with a nice balcony. The A/C and Wi-Fi worked well. There was a good buffet breakfast, with something for everyone on offer. The location is within walking distance of many attractions. The street is quiet at night so you don’t hear a lot of traffic noise when trying to sleep. Their laundry service is good. Would stay here again if we ever return to Hanoi.

Exceptional customer service! The staff at this hotel go above and beyond. They quickly rectified an error with our booking choice of rooms, and we were moved the following day. The staff have conversations with you, checking on your stay and making sure everything is going well. Buffet breakfast is plentiful, and you have the options of selecting types of eggs, etc. There are not many facilities in the hotel, but you are very near to all the tourist attractions. Porters and receptionists are very helpful and pleasant.. This is what makes this hotel great. Beds were comfortable, and rooms had complimentary items that were welcomed.

Minor issue in the scheme of things.. but perhaps an area to relax outside of the room, such as a spa or pool? Massage services offered but not based in the hotel.

The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. The location is close to the Train street, and away from the hustle and bustle of the Old Quarter. Across from the hotel, just a few steps, are gold shops with amazing rates for money exchange. Great Air Con in the room and lobby. Fair pricing for laundry which is neatly packaged and ready next day (or same day if you need). They helped us book travel to Ninh Binh as well.

The staff warned us about early morning Construction to properties adjacent. We were jet lagged and would wake up around 6-7 AM so it didn't bother us. But it would be at random increments throughout the day.

I arrived at Hanoi Airport at night. Aimee organized a shuttle service for me without any hassle. All the staff were more than friendly and attentive. I always felt very well taken care of. There is at least one person on duty all night, so you always have someone to talk to. Requests such as a very short-notice extension of my stay could be made by phone, and the staff always had tips for me on what to see in the city. All in all, I had a great stay at the San Premium and will visit this hotel again if I am ever in the area. Thank you!!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel! From the moment we booked, Luca, Jade, Casey and Alisa went above and beyond to assist us and ensure everything was perfectly arranged before our arrival. Their communication was prompt, professional, and genuinely caring, making us feel valued as guests. The service provided throughout our stay was exceptional and felt like premium quality, especially considering the price. Every detail was thoughtfully managed, and the staff followed up with us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. The accommodations were spotless, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. It’s rare to find a place where the service is so personalized and attentive from start to finish. We left completely satisfied and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an outstanding stay at an excellent value. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

At the first moment I reached the hotel, they had already been waiting to welcome us. They gave us hot tea and snacks which tasted very nice! The room was small but very cozy and tidy. All the staff smiled every moment they saw us (especially Casey and Alisa were so helpful in guiding us to places nearby). Huge and well-prepared buffet breakfast with several Vietnamese and Western options. The most special thing is the hotel location. Despite not being in the center of the Old Quarter, it just takes you 3 minutes to walk to the famous train street where you can also find many restaurants and stores. I love this hotel and definitely choose to stay again when I come back!

Absolutely nothing

Super friendly and helpful staff! Our flight was delayed by 4 hours so we arrived at 1am - they arranged a car to collect us. They also recommended places to visit and gave times for train street. We had laundry done and came back so clean, folded and smelled amazing! Breakfast great - a huge selection which both adults and children enjoyed! Rooms fairly small which didn't bother us as only used for sleeping - comfy beds and a good shower and air con!

I recently enjoyed a fantastic 4-day stay at Sam Premium Hotel Hanoi. The hotel's location is absolutely superb, situated right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Hanoi's top attractions. What truly set this hotel apart was its exceptional staff. From check-in to check-out, every team member I encountered was incredibly friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Their local knowledge and willingness to help with any request made my stay truly memorable. Alicia and Luca were fantastic! As well as all the team!

The room I got was on the 7 floor, accesible by elevator, so it is more quite. The room is big and very clean, it comes with everything you need! For breakfast they serve a buffet, but go for the freshly made Pho and the omlette! The staff is very nice! Mike was very helpfull in organizing a Tour to Ninh Binh and Halong Bay. I was always picked up by a driver and dropt of at the hotel. I also had the Pick up and drop off from and to the airport organized by Mike. The driver aswell was very friendly! For my overnight Crusie at Halong Bay I was able to leave my big Suitcase at the hotel. When I needed to exchange money, Mike personaly took me to the place where they got me a very nice exchange rate! As a female solo travler i felt very taken care of and very safe! Thank you Mike and your collegues!
