When I'm rating, I try to give an honest review. I also own properties on booking.com and have an idea of how it works. Here's how it experience went. I booked last minute (same day booking), and received all the necessary information to find the accommodation. The hotel has an evevato, very convenient. Breakfast was excellent. They advertised activities and tours to me. A lot of other hotels do this and it's quite uncomfortable. They also suggested a taxi. I don't like when the hotels and pushing taxis and activities, because it's actually more expensive than booking directly. This isn't a bad thing if you don't want to plan things for yourself, since they'll basically be planning and arranging everything for you. However, just remember, booking directly will be cheaper than booking through the hotel. The hotel has to make their commission also so it's reasonable. Rooms were very very very clean, it's better than booking a very expensive hotel. Everything was like the picture and it leaves you feeling like you're royalty there. Definitely one of the best in Hanoi Old Quarter I'd stay here again when I return.

The location is great, close to everything. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful. I would 100% came back to this hotel.

There was stairs to our room since the elevator could only take you to the 6th floor and we were on the 7th but not a big deal and the staff helped with the luggage.

We liked everything about the Hotel. The location was great, the room spacious with comfortable beds, the shower was the best on our trip so far, and most notably: the service was exceptionally good. From our arrival, we were supported by the staff. They helped us to book tours, organised transport to our next destination and made us feel very comfortable throughout our stay.

Very friendly and helpful staff, the location is perfect. The breakfast is just okay, but you could try the Pho. You can leave your luggage after check-out and even take a shower before leaving the hotel, which is perfect if you have a later flight.

The room was small, as expected, but we got a different room than the one we had booked. We didn't ask to change it, as it was okay. However, the window had a view of the building's wall. The room was on the 7th floor, just under the roof, so there was noise when it rained during the night.

The hotel staff, especially Eden, were super helpful and quite thoughtful. Even though we did not have a ready itinerary, Eden shared his insights on the best places to go and the best timing/day to go there. He even booked it for us so it was one less thing to worry about. That made everything go smoothly. Our trip was memorable and fun. There were a couple of hiccups in the room we stayed in but their prompt action made everything well and good.

Breakfast options were good, if the stay was just for a couple of nights. But as we stayed longer, it would have been better if the breakfast offered changes every other day. Otherwise, all were ok.

We had a wonderful stay at Serene Central Hotel in Hanoi. The highlight was definitely the amazing staff, especially Aiden and Eden, who went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. They helped us plan day trips to Ninh Binh, and also offered great options for exploring Sapa and Ha Long Bay. Their local knowledge and genuine friendliness made a big difference. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet, with cozy beds that were perfect after long days of sightseeing. The hotel itself has a welcoming vibe, and the location is ideal—central enough to walk to most major attractions, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. We highly recommend Serene Central Hotel for anyone looking for warm hospitality, great service, and a restful stay in Hanoi.

The hotel was an excellent small boutique style hotel which was excellent for solo traveller. The breakfast was good with reasonable selections available. The room was a great size for myself and had a small balcony too for fresh air. The staff were the star of the hotel and the best I have experienced among all the hotels I have stayed at on my travels. The manager Emily was exceptional with the greeting and ensured all guests including myself were well looked after and were great with informing us about the attractions, best time to go etc. Aidan was also great and very attentive to the guest and myself with her dedication to make time for that person which always go a long way. Also finally, the receptionist Rosi was definitely the best one I have ever meet. She was also great, so friendly, helpful, welcoming and gave me the best ever farewell from a hotel stay. All staff were very hardworking overall to give the best for the hotel and guests. Thank you all so much Cam on ban rat nhieu :)

Very nice and new hotel very close to Hoan Kiem Lake and inside the Old Town on Hang Bong Street. So everything is close by for walking around in town. I had a Double/Twin Room with City View (7th floor, room 705, I added a picture of the night view from the room). Clean room, newish furniture and comfortable bed. The room completely corresponds with the photos on Booking.com. Very friendly, nice and helpful staff that try to make your stay better, everything (including a pickup at the airport) that was arranged worked out as wished. Breakfast could be a tad better if it had a bit more change or choice (I was there a whole week), but well, it is fine as it is.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Hanoi! A very special thank you to Suzy at the reception – she was absolutely delightful, incredibly friendly, and gave us fantastic recommendations for restaurants that turned out to be some of the best meals we had in Vietnam. She really made us feel welcome and taken care of. The hotel itself was very comfortable, the breakfast was complete and delicious, and the location is perfect for exploring the city. We were also so grateful that we could leave our luggage until late and even take a shower before heading to the airport – such a thoughtful detail that made our trip so much easier. We truly appreciate everything. Highly recommended!

The staff here are the most welcoming, lovely, and professional people I have met during my time in Vietnam. Emily, the manager is efficient and a pleasure to deal with,she made me feel welcome and at home from the moment i walked in the door. This is reflected in her staff, two of which left a lasting impression, Rushi and Aiden,your customer service is second to none, thank you for going above and beyond during my stay. The rooms are stylishy furnished with the most comfy beds and pillows. great location with everything you need at your doorstep. Highly recommend.

Construction next door can be alittle noisy, but this is beyond the control of the hotel, and by no means a complaint against them.
