The staff were fantastic! Tommy, Alex and the team were super welcoming from the beginning to end and if you ever need any last minute day trips or ideas, they have an agent who can help organise on your behalf! The room was extremely spacious despite what you would see on the outside, fitting a family of 4 nicely, with two bathrooms (enclosed shower and toilet), this was a nice treat for any holiday! The buffet breakfast is pretty standard across hotels we have stayed but overall - satisfies you with western and Vietnamese options - they also allow you to takeaway food in the event you have an early start or need food to go to the airport (cannot recommend this enough for the airport as Noi Bai charges USD as opposed to the local currency) The location is about a 15 minute walk from Old Quarter but if you do not mind taking a Grab/Taxi or walking, you will not be disappointed! You are also nearby two massage parlours, if you are looking for a good vietnamese massage. We went to "Spas Hanoi" which was overall really good if you are considering on the side. There are a number of food options as well, so if you are stuck on food options, you will not have any issues planning or have a spontaneous snack to and from the hotel.

We stayed on level 2, with the buffet breakfast on level 1. As people move around on the floor below, you will hear the scraping of chairs around 6:30am - we have recommended this to staff to maybe add some feet cushions for the seats - so hopefully this can be improved to reduce the noise level.

The staff and premises were very good, The appartment was ideal for my family as we were travelling but needed a base in Hanoi. The appartemnt was advertised as having a city view but there was one window in the bedroom that opened but the view was far from a city view. (photo attached) The breakfast is served in a hotel around the corner and although it was small there was a great choice of food. Unfortunately, I was unwell for a few days and had to spend it in the appartment and there was construction work going on in the building beside the hotel...they cango hammered from 7am - 6pm for at least 10days of our stay...this was not the hotels fault but it did cause some headaches. I would like to say that the hotel itself is very nice and spotless with everything that we needed and the staff were always at hand with every enquiry we had. Once we figured out where everything was within walking distance of us. I would reserve this hotel again on our next visit providing the construction work next door was finished.

Air conditioned ,spacious, has a washer and a dryer. Quiet street. Lovely friendly staff.. i will return.

Breakfast simple and after second third and fourth day with same food in bay maries I decided not to go there as not sure if its made fresh each day. Suggest they alnerate menu. Shower head didn't fit in holder and electric light in bathroom flickered in a strange way when turned off. No pool. But none of tbese things would stop me from staying here again

This hotel is in a convenient location in Old Town. Walking distance to Kiem Lake/Puppet Theatre and Train Street to name just a few. We had a two-bedroom apartment (a little dated but clean). The washing machine and drier were handy, especially when it rained and we needed to dry our shoes and clothes. Air conditioner worked well. Staff are very helpful - when the roads were flooded, they offered to walk in the knee-deep water to give our takeaway order for dinner and then pick it up for us. Thank you :)

Breakfast was just ok.

Everything! The apartment was clean, large, with bath and separate shower, even a washer/dryer machine and liquid supplied. Very comfortable, bottled water supplied everyday. The breakfasts were superb, staff cooked eggs to your requests as one desired. Great selection of choice for different cultures. Different choices of fresh fruits and juices, pastries etc. I had a wonderful massage and treatment at their spa too. The staff were wonderful, couldn’t do enough for us . Tommy, Andrew and Maya treated us as they would treat a family member, with great respect. Always there to help, arrange taxis, give information, recommend and install apps to help us with especially with one to call a taxi wherever we where, which had prices and feedback on the driver. Called « Grab » was brilliant. They made our holiday very special, can’t thank them enough. We have stayed in many different hotels in our three visits to Vietnam and this was the best ever.

We couldn’t fault anything.

The staff are easily the highlight of the trip! Jennie, Alex and Andrew were so helpful and always gave recommendations for places to eat and things to do. They were so sweet with our 11 month old too! Rooms are good, good facilities and good location. Far enough away to be quiet at night but still walking distance everywhere. Breakfast was good, great pho and fruit! We would be back, especially as the rooms are so spacious there was lots of space for our baby to crawl around.

Whilst the bathrooms, kitchen and beds were clean and housekeeping was great, a good clean of the whole place would be nice. Because there is a kitchen there were food splatters around and lots of surfaces that could do with a good wipe. All frequently used areas were very clean.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. Located on a quiet lane off the main streets, there is very little traffic noise making for a peaceful stay. Hoan Kiem Lake and Train Street are just 5 minutes away. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming, especially Andrew, who got in touch a few weeks before our arrival to ask if we had any special requests and very helpfully arranged a car transfer from Hanoi Airport for us. He was also very patient and forgiving when we foolishly lost our room key on our first day. Staff also gave us great recommendations for things to do and places to eat as this was our first time in Vietnam.

We have no complaints or concerns about the property at all.

Although this is great value for money, it's the staff from the front desk to the kitchen and house keeping which are awesome they are all fantastic and true professionals, you can see they take pride in what they do. The front desk always greets you with a smile and are a world of information on where to eat what to see and where to go and will organise all your transport needs either it be the airport or ha-long bay they will get you there. The location is great in a back alley away from the noise of a main road but in walking distance of all the attractions and exciting street food. We have all read it before (if could i would rate it more) but truly it deserves an extra 🌟 keep up the great work guy's and girls your my number 1 choice for hanoi, see you again soon.

I have heard some driver's don't like driving down the alley because it's narrow and drop you off before entering the alley and make you walk to the hotel, I haven't experienced this all my drivers dropped me off at the door but if you have to walk it's not far, although this is not the hotels fault and shouldn't take away from their exceptional service.

This was our second time staying at Hanoi Central Hotel & Residences, and it was just as fantastic as we remembered. The Hotel is tucked away from the main street, which makes it wonderfully quiet, yet it’s only steps away from shops, cafes and eateries- a convenient and central location. We are a family of 4, and the 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment with washing machine was just perfect for our needs - spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight of our mornings, thanks to Dylan and Daisy for cooking up fresh delicious pho and omelettes each day. We had to cancel our trip to Sapa at the last minute due to landslides, and Andrew was incredibly helpful. He quickly found us a vacant room so we could extend our stay without any hassle. He also made transport arrangements so easy - just a quick message on WhatsApp and everything was taken care of. Special thanks to Andrew, Alex, Schatz and William - such a friendly and kind team who really care about their guests. Everyone we interacted made a great impression and truly enhanced our stay. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi!
