The hotel is located in the perfect location right in the centre, very short walk to everything. The rooms are very clean and beds very comfortable, as well as the breakfast has a lot of options and it’s very tasty. Apart from the hotel being amazing for the price we paid, the staff is exceptional. My mum had an accident and needed to go to the hospital, and thanks to TRẦN TÂM HIỂU THƯƠNG (DAVID), who took care of us, my mum was in good hands. He came with us to the taxi to the hospital and spoke to all the doctors for us, as most didn’t speak English. David then went with us to the private hospital, and waited with me for my mum to come out the surgery. I cannot explain how helpful this was as I was in Vietnam alone with my mum and without him I don’t know what we would have done. The next couple of days the whole staff was checking in on us to make sure we are okay and if we need anything. The customer service in the hotel is outstanding, including the receptionists, the owner and David of course. Honestly I cannot thank them enough, for taking care of us in such a stressful situation

Amazing stay at the silk flower hotel in Hanoi, great location tucked away in an alley in the old quarter. Rooms are great and well priced, all staff members were absolutely amazing and accommodating and I would like to give a special shout out to David, Hannah, Lucas and Caryln for being the best people we could have asked for. Will definitely be back.

This was the third hotel that we stayed in Hanoi as we travelled the area. Silk Flower was the best we stayed at. We had a nice, clean and quiet room considering the price. The staff were fantastic and friendly. David checked us in and was a legend, even showing off his break dancing skills in the lobby.

Mr. Lucas the bell man is very capable and intelligent young man, Especially he is the master of customer service, he is polymath, he can be a plumber, electrician, he is a very good boy - Excellent Lucas!

Was in a fantastic location, about a 10min walk from everywhere to see in Hanoi. The staff were really kind and friendly and went out of their way to do to things. Good range of food for breakfast and nice little dining room. Must say that the blackout curtains were amazing and I had a really good night sleep every night.

The bathroom was quite old fashioned and could do with a makeover, specifically the shower. The shower was on top of the bath and the floor of the bath was quite dirty so I had to clean it before using. The rest of the room was clean. The boiler in the room made quite a loud noise which was a little annoying.

I can reccommend this hotel, Makes your stay in Hanoi very pleasant. Good location, (city center), close to everything easy to reach shops, restaurants. Walkable distance to everything. Its a safe area. The staff are very kind and helpful, even suprised me with a cake and song for my birthday, was very toughtful. They always smile and ready to help. When i got sick,they helped us and took my husband to a pharmacy and helped picked medicine. Thank you for everything! They speak good english so the communication was easy. They can help you arrange tours or airport transfer. The room is big, bigger then others in Hanoi. Cleaned daily.

Friendly small old-style hotel in a great back street location within easy walking distance of many shops & restaurants, Hoan Kiem Lake, Train Street & local markets. Staff were exceptional with a special mention of Henry, who contacted the bank & made arrangements for me to collect my debit card when it got swallowed up in a local ATM! They also booked day tours & airport taxis for us. Comfortable bed & very good wi-fi. Buffet breakfast was excellent.

Good hotel and well located within Hanoi. Price was great and we enjoyed our stay.

We booked SIM card and bus from Hanoi to Ha Giang with the hotel. SIM card worked pretty well. The bus was almost a great experience except at the end. Indeed, seeing that there was a drop of service in any hotel in hả Giang when we arrived there because it is what they did with other people. So we asked if we could be dropped off at the hotel that we booked by ourselves. Bus company said no as they had to respect the address given by the people booked for us in order to get paid. And we were dropped off at a home stay we never chose or asked for. We would have appreciate from silk flower that they told us that in advance so we can give them the hotel we wanted to be dropped off. That would have avoided a 20 min walk at 4 am.
