The room was nice and comfortable, great location and the breakfast was perfect. It is served in a nice roof top area with a nice view of the streets. The staff are very nice and welcoming. I also book a tour to Sapa with them and it was good They even kept my luggage in their storage while I was in the tour, even if I wasn’t going to stay in the hotel upon my return

Staff was outstanding, people in reception were extremely kind and spoke great English. They helped us book a day trip and advised on best options. All went very smoothly. Simple hotel, no frills, it had everything we needed for a short stay. Great location in old town, room was quiet - we didn't hear the street or the neighbours at all.

The location was centrally located in the Old Quarter, walking distance from the Water Puppet Theatre, many amenities and places to eat. The staff was exceptional. Ms. Lily, the manager, arranged seamless transport from the airport at a fair price. The same for our trip to Ha Long, and she checked on us after arrival which was above and beyond. They exchanged money for us at the current rate with no fees. Sophie/Sofi was also very helpful in letting us know when historic places were open and how to get around. Breakfast was the best we had provided so far on this trip. A delicious variety of freshly made choices, fruits, veggies, hot dishes, eggs and other choices to order. All provided free on a rooftop dining area with interviews on three sides. The room was clean and comfortable. Showers were always hot and the a/c worked great. There was also a heater in the room in case we got cold. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to friends, family, and all respectful travelers.

No memorable shortcomings at Golden Moon.

Great value for money (we booked last minute for a few extra days in Hanoi so gotna great deal). We were welcomed by Miss Lilly with a lemon drink and watermelon which was very kind. Room was much bigger than expected and the shower/bathroom was not a wetroom type (we read a lot of reviews with people complaining about wetroom bathrooms, however either type don't bother us). Breakfast was great! On the roof terrace with lovely views and a great selection of fruit, cheese, ham etc. and the option for cooked items such as eggs and pho. Staff were so helpful and friendly, but not overly so or in your face with it - perfect. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing hotel! The staff, in particular Sophie and Lily were so helpful and went above and beyond. We arrived and they gave us some fruit ! The rooms were so clean and the beds comfy. They even upgraded us to a larger room for my birthday! The breakfast was delicious too! Location is fantastic.

Location: Situated in the heart of the old quarter. About 12 min on foot to Dong Xuan Market (Note: this is primarily a wholesale market, not for tourist shopping. Best to go Cho Hom for small bus and tourist kind of shopping) and 18 min to the famous Lake. Room: Good size room & comfy bed. Bathroom spacious: shower area and toilet are separated by a glass panel. Rooftop Breakfast: Enjoy the gorgeous view during breakfast. The spread of food is considered ok. Eateries: Barely a stone throw (opp the hotel) is Michelin “awarded” Bun Cha: Must try.

Nice customer experience! The hotel is located in a small side street in the center of Hanoi, old quarter, which makes it super central, still remaining relatively calm at night. The rooms are bright and clean, equipped with all amenities. However the service made my stay unique. Lily welcomed me with a cold juice, showed me the room and helped me navigating through the activities during my stay in Hanoi. If I ever come back I would definitely come again!

Staff were attentive and available at all times. Standard of service was very high. The room was clean and includes a fridge. We were given a free upgrade to a room with a balcony, which was lovely. The hotel is very well located for exploring the Old Quarter. They also provide a same-day laundry service which is very convenient. The mini bar/fridge is restocked every day when the room is cleaned, it is very nice to come in from a hot day exploring the city to a cold beer or water waiting in the fridge. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Hanoi.

The staff were really exceptional helping book stuff, great recommendations and even providing us with a takeaways breakfast when we had to leave early the last day. Such an amazing stay.

The location was perfect. Walkable to everything you need to see and do during your trip. The room was comfortable enough. Very small in size, but it definitely has enough space for the basics. The shower and bathroom are actually good in size with warm water. Complimentary drinkable water was given every day. The breakfast was actually so good and the view is cute. The best thing was honestly the staff. Super helpful and kind.

The space is very small but we did not mind it. The view from the window we had was a construction site of some sort so we just kept the curtains closed the entire time, which made for a dark room (but this doesn’t matter if you’re not spending much time there).
