Nice small hotel off a very big city street. Only a few steps away from 8-lane-traffic but very quiet. The hotel had no rooftop terrace, but we could sit half outside in the evening (first table up front in the breakfast room) and that was nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our room was very small and had no windows. So it is probably a good idea to upgrade to a better and bigger room.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The location is great and very close to the attractions. The rooms are a decent size compared to others in the city and kept very clean.

Location is close to all the tourist attractions and a stones throw from all fun things. I loved that you had to walk down a sketchy alleyway to find the hotel- this way you see the hidden gem of a banh mi cart lady - delicious thit quay and cha banh mi for 30K - delightful boba at shancha for 40 K and little VN eatery Bac VN Cuisine for 50-55K a plate. We loved the breakfast- rotating menu across the 4 days we stayed with hot made to order breakfast options. The staff spoke limited English but Ricky, Peter, Sarah made up for it with their attention to detail- memory of what preferences you enjoyed, and big smiles. Every morning began in the coziest setting! We had large window in the room- with a mix of old and new city view! Being in the back alley helped you escape all the city noise bc it was sooo incredibly quiet!! Not a single honk or beep! Some construction noise began around 7am from other buildings next door but we are early birds- not sure how long the construction noise continued as we were mostly out of the room but didnt make much note of it. Rosa in the cleaning department kept our room sufficiently well stocked and always checked in on us if we needed anything else to be comfortable in the room.

The room was a little cramped but you could call it cozy.. . There was a support column in the shower that was inconveniently placed- design issue. - and really hogged what could have been a spacious shower. The AC was a little warm though the first night; but each subsequent night got better and more comfortable. I think this is because you are issued one key card and that controls electricity in the room so when you leave the room warms up in terms of cleanliness around the sink, you can see that there’s a little crack between the wall and the sink and antlike little bugs kept appearing so youd wash them down the sink but they kept gathering around there. I think they liked the soap bar… it was the least pleasant part of our stay. Perhaps some caulk will be good pest control.

Breakfast fab, the staff were so lovely. Location great.

Not a negative, but having a sign for the hotel at the entrance to the alley way so that you know it is at the very back and round the corner of the alley way would be very helpful. Thanks

The hotel was a little difficult to find at first (Google Maps gave us incorrect directions, Grab map was more accurate) but once you find it it's great — centrally located in District 1 but set back from the main street down an alleyway so much quieter. Lots of sights to see and food/drink spots within walking distance and the neighbourhood was busy but felt safe, even at night. Room was quite small with just a bit of space to walk around the bed, but we were fine with this as we weren't spending much time inside except to sleep. The breakfast was great with an omelette/egg station, rotating local Vietnamese dishes, some Western food, and fresh fruit and pastries. All the staff were super friendly, helpful, and hospitable.

Our room was at the bottom of the stairs so we could hear all the other hotel guests clearly as they went up and down the staircase, if you are a light sleeper you may not want this room.

This is a little gem hidden just off one of the main streets in HCMC. We were given the suite at the top and it had a huge balcony with fantastic views over the city. The room was very spacious with a big comfy bed. There are drinks and snacks available to buy, as well as free water, tea and coffee. The bathroom was clean and the shower was good with plenty of hot water. Staff are all very friendly and eager to help. Breakfast was a simple buffet with some hot food choices as well as eggs. The hotel is in a fantastic location - mid way between the Opera House and Ben Thanh market. Easy walking distance to any of the sights in the city. The alley it is in is a busy place with coffee shops and a small restaurant.

Be warned there is building work going on next door that starts early in the morning. It didn’t disturb our stay though.

Kelly was exceptional - incredibly attentive to our needs and always so approachable. We’ve been travelling around Vietnam for two weeks and this was the best customer service we’ve seen. This is consistent with the great service in their sister hotel, Little Gem in Hoi An. The property was in an ideal location in District 1, while being situated down a little alley lended to its charm which other nearby hotels might lack. The beds were comfortable and rooms were very clean. If you can book the penthouse suite, it’s worth it for that extra space, comfort as well as a fantastic balcony with great views.

Not an early riser so can’t comment on breakfast Can’t give 10 stars as no gym/pool

Location is perfect! Plonk in the centre of everything and yet hidden away down a sweet little alley that has a great coffee shop on it too. Walkable to everything. Wonderful staff - special mention to Kelly, who was really smiley and always ready to help & she has a good understanding of English, which helped when we needed a hospital! We came back to this hotel prior to catching a flight from Saigon and upgraded to a larger room which we really liked. Decent breakfast too. Thank you for a really excellent stay in Saigon.

The smallest (reasonably priced) rooms really are small! Tiny window. Still, excellent value for such great tucked away location, and lovely helpful staff. We would have liked to leave a tip but no tip box and it’s awkward handing over cash to just one member of staff. Perhaps an option to add a a percentage to the bill would be an idea. The staff member who checked us out was unsure about this though.

A great stay in the heart of HCMC. Many attractions can easily be reached on foot from the hotel and the starting point of the hop-on hop-off bus is also nearby. One entrance to the Opera House station of the new Metro Line, which opened in December 2024, is only about 100 metres away. All staff members are wonderful - extremely polite, friendly and helpful. You are made to feel welcome at all times and under any circumstances. Although this is generally the case in Vietnam, it is always a pleasure to experience such hospitality. The hotel is in a courtyard at the end of an alleyway. The first time you see this from the street you wonder where you've landed, but once you've entered and passed a couple of small shops and places to eat you find yourself in an oasis of relative quiet! Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We had a small balcony where we could sit in the evening and watch the comings and goings in the courtyard below. Breakfast was good.

If there's anything that could be improved, it's only that the coffee sachets in the room should be provided free of charge (as in most hotels)

I am so happy we found this fabulous little hotel hidden down an alleyway in District 1. The location is perfect, walk down the alleyway & you are minutes away from walking street, the opera house & many HCM attractions. The hotel staff are amazing, I became ill during the stay and Kelly at reception arranged for me to go to an international clinic. They were so caring & concerned about me. We stayed at Little Saigon Boutique Hotel at the start and at the end of our trip on our return everyone was delighted to see us & even more delighted that I had recovered. I would highly recommend it if you want a to stay somewhere small with personalised service.
