Beautiful hotel in top location. Great service and wonderful staff

Location is excellent. Food is great and the service impecable

The staff stood out the most. A special shout out to Nga Pham, the front desk manager. I had a few issues with my room from the beginning. This was when the manager did everything she possibly could to upgrade our room to satisfy me and my family’s need. Highly recommended.

The smell on the landing. For 6 days in a row the smell did not go away.

The facilities at the hotel were well maintained and really nice. The buffet breakfast and dining at the rooftop restaurant was really good. Room was comfortable and clean. The location of the property is very convenient and central to main attractions in disctrict 1. All staff at the hotel are polite, helpful and willing to assist guests. Front desk also provided smaller change for VND which was very convenient.

Location - Staff - Breakfast - Service I can't choose one matter to explain how great this hotel is. It was fantastic from beginning to end. Special mention to the Breakfast staff who went out of their way to accommodate my food allergy.

The bathroom could be updated. Other than that, I would be hard press to come up with anything. Everything was great.

From the moment we entered the hotel until we left all the staff from reception to the chef's were helpful, friendly and couldn't do enough to help you. The room was large and airy and again had everything you needed and was kept clean by the staff. We found the location exactly what we were looking for, in the middle of the city in amongst bars and restaurants. We only opted for the breakfast only option and what a treat that was, you could get anything you wanted, although some of the dishes on display weren't what I would like for breakfast, but there was more than just us there :-)

If I was being picky, I personally don't think you need as many high end shops as they have in reception.

Scammer scammer alert !!! If you plan on taking a hotel shuttle or having the hotel, arrange a shuttle to the airport, they will over charge you! Should be around $10 USD to go 3 1/2 miles to the airport. The concierge told me 50 US.

For me, it was a nostalgic experience. I was in Saigon 22 years ago and the tallest building was the Caravelle hotel. I look now from the rooftop bar of the Rex and see so many tall commercial buildings and luxury hotels. It was great being in the heart of Saigon and easy transport to anywhere. From the outside the Rex looks filled with grandeur with many luxury brand shops surrounding the foyer. The dining room is luxurious and the staff were very professional and friendly. A room was well appointed, but the bathroom was a little tired. The cigar bar looked very inviting and secluded. A swimming pool was a welcome relief from the heat. From that vantage point you could see the building needed repainting and repair in order to retain its luxury hotel status.

The central location is fantastic and they close the streets off during the evening in front of the hotel so it’s lovely to walk around the nightlife. There’s multiple shopping centres close by and many food choices. The gym is well set up and breakfast is a good range of items. Luxury shopping downstairs and multiple pools also

The hotel is in a great location right near the beautiful city hall and opera house. The rooms were bright and spacious. The dining options and amenities are wonderful. Service was great.
