We had a fantastic stay in the athenia Hotel, lt was in a great location with the beach 5 mins walk away with lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel has a lovely quite pool area and is spotless clean and well maintained. Hotel is very comfortable with lovely buffet breakfast and food and drink is also available at the poolside bar until 8pm The staff in the hotel,Nga Tri and phuong were so welcoming and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed for a fantastic holiday. Nothing everything was perfect

- Staff was super helpful and nice - Sunny coffe corner have the best coconut coffe and it's 5 mins away - we had a lot of fun - worth the money

- Hotel is a bit older than the photos, it deffinitely needs reannovation - Breakfast was bad - Pool was not as cool as on the photos - noisy mornings

The room was great, had everything we needed. Pool was nice and in the sun all day, with umbrellas if needed shade. Comfortable loungers. Breakfast was fabulous! Full of different options and actually delicious. Staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The lady at the reception - Phuong - was helpful, informative and lovely.

Free bicycles are a plus, but they are in DESPERATE need of maintenance. The rooms floor was a bit dirty upon arrival, also, a reminder to clean the balcony and the furniture in the balcony. We got massages at the spa, which were really good for the most part of it - being quite pricey!! - but towards the end of the massage, the masseuse started using her phone and the quality of the massage really dropped due to that. Not really what you expect when you pay 1.2 mil dong for a massage in a 4 star hotel. The prices of beverages are overpriced. 40k dong for water when 30 metres from the property you can get it for 10k. Just seems a bit excessive to be making money to this level.

Lovely welcome on our arrival. The staff are really helpful and happy. The room was very comfortable with all the amenities you could want. Very nice restaurant, breakfast was really good, nice pool area with comfy sunbeds and pool towels and a pool side bar serving drinks and snacks all day, with a happy hour on cocktails. Beach is only a short walk away and the old town 10 minutes by taxi. The staff go out of their way to help and they are so lovely

Nothing. We liked everything

The room was big enough and very clean with a nice sea view. They offered us a fruit plate in one day and organised one afternoon tea for us as we stayed more than 3 nights. Breakfast was acceptable, not excellent though, it can be improved by offering a greater variety of food and more international food. The location is quite close to the beach, it takes just a few minutes by motorbike.

We loved the friendliness of the staff, we enjoyed the wide selection available for breakfast, the room was large, quiet, the beds comfortable, the shower fantastic hot ( who needs it) water with great pressure, cleaned daily with free water every day in the room,which could be refilled from a cooler in the lobby, bikes for free to explore, free bus/car into the old town three times a day returning twice. The pool has comfortable cushioned lie lows, with a nice wee pool side bar. Restaurant open late great food though we only had breakfast and two lunches. We loved the laid back feel but also that it is a spotless well managed facility. Did I say the staff are top hosts and hostesses. A shout out to our favourites 1st Wendy, Billy, and Daisy you made our stay comfortable and happy We will definitely be back and hope to see you again soon Highly recommend

Nothing unless you count, The weather but hey it was a really comfortable spot to sit out a tropical storm reported to be a cyclone. The staff kept us informed

Tri, Phuong, Bao, and Son were absolutely incredible during our stay. Breakfast is amazing!! The private balcony we had was amazing!!! The lobby was so clean and comfortable. Happy hour at the pool is BOGO free!!!! One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at because the service was just absolutely top-notch. Can also rent bikes for free too! Absolutely want to come back!!

Excellent service from all staff, special thanks to Phuong who remembered our names and went out of her way to make our stay special. Great free bikes to use, a quiet area right by the beach, where there are lots of places to eat and drink without feeling super hectic and touristy. Clean pool and lovely garden, excellent views and great value. Good breakfast spread and the on site spa was also brilliant. Would recommend!
