Excellent breakfast, beautiful pool and outdoor area, great housekeeping service, friendly staff

Very unfortunate that the beach has eroded and there is no ocean access. Photos need to be updated. Direct beach/ocean access was a big part of why we chose this property. Ditto that the property next door is a huge construction site, which looked right into the bathroom and outdoor shower part of our room, whereas the photos show a bucolic resort next door.

We have stayed here before, a year ago, and we still absolutely love the garden and view of the ocean. The location is great. There are two brill restaurants Salt and Surf and Turf which are two minute walk away. We love Mango spa across the road. Xin chao restaurant is great for lunch (cheap Vietnamese food) and is right across the street. There is also a new sourdough bakery which sells smoothies. The breakfast choice is good but no longer a buffet which we missed. The pool is also great. This time we had a second floor balcony room and we got to hear and see the ocean. Even when it rained it was so nice to sit out on the balcony. The rooms are a good size. Check out is also at 12 which is great. The overall vibe is just still really peaceful.

Everything is just a little bit dated. Not in a terrible way or in a way that stops you enjoying the resort it just is. We loved sitting outside for breakfast on our last visit and the direct access to the beach both of which no longer exist although we did see some renovations beginning. The staff were fine but again not overly friendly like last time. It all just was a bit faded. We will return and we hope their high standards do too. It is still such a good location and time overall. By

The hotel is small and quaint with so much potential. The pool and grassy area with a view of the sea was great, clean, and as shown in photos. The breeze overlooking the water offering a cooling breeze while watching the kite surfers. The breakfast is really well done particularly the buffet given the size of the hotel and the staff knew you by name, got to know you ie your likes and preferences. Vu, Tong and Viet were fantastic and while their English was not good - google translate worked well, doing everything they could to provide a personal experience and meet all our needs or wants. We were always greeted with a smile and acknowledged offering to assist us in any way possible. We would like to thank Vu in particular for his kind consistent attention which always made us feel valued and seen. Enough food, good coffee, massages, mini mart and entertainment options nearby to meet your needs and not far from Hoi An CBD or other beaches by bicycle with a lock - not that it was necessary though. The location is not overrun by tourists which added to its charm for us and a quiet oasis.

This did not take away from our experience with the positives well exceeding the negatives. I am also not sure how the typhoon had impacted them overall. The hotel could do with an update with new umbrellas and furniture, and a sharper eye on decor and some further cleaning. All of which we overlooked easily the longer we stayed.

We loved everything. We had a room that opened up to the pool. Room was quiet and spacious. There is construction right next door. It didn’t bother us too much but might bother those sensitive to noise. There was no mention of construction on their website.

There is no beach front. Another thing they don’t mention on the website. A typhoon recently destroyed the beach front, There is still a gorgeous grass area and sun lounges on up on the sea front which gets an incredible breeze. Just a real shame you can’t take a dip in the sea or walk along the sand.

The staff was wonderful and did everything to make us feel welcome. They loved our kids, learnt their names and even gave them little presents at the end. Having the pool right in the middle was very convenient and the garden is a nice hangout. The location is very central in An Bang with good restaurants and an excellent coffee place right next door.

Too bad the beach is eroded away right in front of the hotel but 50-100m to each side it starts again. There are plans on the way to restore the beach in the near future. Next door a new hotel is being constructed but the noise hardly disturbed us.

The pool is beautiful and shady, located in between both wings of the building for maximal shade. The larger of the room sizes seemed right for two people, with a small kitchenette (not well stocked with cooking items, but serviceable). 'The views of the sea and of the pool were spectacular.

The kitchenette could have easily been a bit better stocked with glasses and paper towels/napkins. The mini-bar that was mentioned did not seem to exist, which was fine as there was a mini-mart directly across the street.

The property was clean and well maintained. Staff were super friendly and very helpful with anything you needed. The grounds were great for spending a lazy day by the pool. Rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast was also great and loved the eggs/omlette bar in the mornings.

Some items from the room were missing like water glasses and a chair for the desk area. The restaurant and bar closed at 2:00pm, a little early. Would be nice to be able to get drinks in the late afternoon or when you come back from dinner.

- Amazing breakfast buffé. Small but everything you want. Even an omelette station! - Great room size. We had three single beds which was great. - The best staff. Always friendly and helpful. Will def. be back!!

Very sorry to see that the beach was gone (due to corrosion). Must be devastating for the property, and a big surprise for us since we were not informed in advance. I hope it will be rebuilt by the government this spring. Please note that it´s just a few minutes walk to the nearest beach.

Very helpful staff. They had some trouble with the room we had booked, so they put us first in a family room. This wasn’t what we had booked and didn’t suit us, because we had booked a room with an extra big bed. But the staff manage to moved us to another room the next day and our stay become more what we had in mind. We got a beautiful room, clean, with a nice view and we had a terrific stay at the hotel.

Family room didn’t suit a couple for a five night stay.
