My 3rd visit to Hoi An and this time we stayed here. Very cosy home stay with almost a personalised service. Facility is less than a year old. Huy is extremely helpful with suggestions and even transport arrangements. Best is location which is 5 min from the heart of old town. They have laundry service for outsiders as well (good value)

- Card payment will be great and more convenient. - Do bring more cash to Hoi An as most trades are in cash in general. - If you wish for a nice balcony, do ask for front facing units.

we have been to vietnam and hoi an at least 10 times but haven't stayed in the old town area in quite a few years. the location is fantastic. the attention to detail in the room was wonderful. great design touches eg original legs and tops of furniture were removed and replaced with more aesthetically pleasing pieces. they added a door to the shelf unit to conceal the fridge and it is vented to allow the fridge to stay cooler. balcony doors and windows were of european quality (makes a huge difference for keeping the cool air in/hot air out - in the middle of the day, we left the room with the ac turned off and when we returned over 4 hours later, the room still felt cool!). there are chairs on the small balcony and a ledge attached to the railing so you have somewhere to put your cup/phone/whatever. reading lights next to the beds. good sized bathroom. lots of outlets. i could go on and on! we arrived before checkin time and the room was not ready, so we left for a few hours. when we got back, they had already placed our luggage in the room so we didn't have to lug it up the stairs. assistance with our luggage when we checked out. we were very happy in this room (twin) and so happy we chose to stay at kemi house. very nice and helpful family. bicycle issue was quickly remedied. bonus: hi restaurant, which we visit every time we are in hoi an, is very close, very cheap, and very delicious. thank you so much and see you again soon!

while it was great to have the indoor pool (which means the water was nice and cool!) upon getting out there wasn't anywhere to sit comfortably (and certainly nowhere to lie/lounge around) so you have to stand and drip a bit before going back up to your room. that being said, we would definitely stay here again.

The location was great. It was down a narrow street just a short walk from the night market, numerous restaurants, and the Ancient Town. It was very quiet, and my room had a small balcony overlooking the surrounding rooftops. The decor was lovely and the bed was nice and firm. There was boiling water always available in the ground-floor foyer, along with an indoor swimming pool. I would definitely stay there again.

There was no cable TV, only access to streaming services if you have subscriptions. Breakfast was not offered, but there were great options nearby. An in-room safe would be a good addition.

A small, well run, family owned budget guesthouse in a fantastic location 5 minutes walk from the heart of the old town and a few minutes from the night market and river. Friendly owners who helped with advice on places to eat, provided free bicycles and organised a transfer to Da Nang for us. Mother also offered a very reasonable and efficient laundry service. The property also has a small plunge / swimming pool on the ground floor just behind the reception area - a little bit of an oddity - we didn't use it but it looked clean and I can imagine when its really hot it could be refreshing.

We had booked a triple room and ended up with 2 doubles with an adjoining door between rooms. This was perfect but I think because of this we were at the back of the building with a view onto the rear of other houses and shops which were rather noisy (especially at 6 am when they woke up)! Not a major problem as the rooms were clean and comfortable and we did not spend much time in then except to sleep, but a room at the front over looking the small square would have been nicer so make sure you request these.

Everything, simply everything ! The house, location, facilities plus man behind the show ... Hue ! He is super supportive and helpful. We arrived in the property around 3 o'clock in the morning and he was still there for us to settle us in. When we arrived in the house, we all were very hungry and everything was closed. But he took me out with his bike and found a cart and managed some food for us ! I don’t know how to thank him. But above all .... it's Mrs. Thu ... Hue's mother. She is a darling ! I haven’t met such adorable person in my life. In short, you can stay at Kemi's house only just to meet this 2 persons ! This will be a Lifetime experience. I guarantee.

This was my second time bringing a group of friends/family to Kemi. It continues to be an outstanding option for a short trip to Hoi An. It’s clean and the pool is a great break from the mid-day heat. We ordered the breakfast this time, and it was plenty of delicious food with a beautiful presentation. You can’t beat the location - a block from the night market, but somehow a quiet spot.

What an amazing place to stay! Rooms are really comfortable and the place is extremely clean. AC worked great. The staff are very helpful and friendly, especially Huy who is always helping me with everything I need. Location is really good. You can walk everywhere, but also they have free bikes for you to use. Definitely a place I recommend.

I had a lovely stay here in Hoi An. Huy and his mother were very nice and responsive to any questions. I had a beautiful room on the third floor with a small balcony overlooking a park. The location was just far enough away from the crowds that it was quiet. The pool was cold but refreshing on those hot days in Hoi An. Would highly recommend!

Kemi House was a great option for our party of 8. The rooms were clean, and the staff was very attentive. Huy helped us book transportation and activities, and gave us some useful local tips. He even met us at the airport to deliver something I had left at the hotel! The pool was refreshing in the heat. The location is great - on a quiet block just a short walk from the night market. There is laundry service next door, and plenty of food, spa, and shopping options nearby.

Slick and new facilities, really friendly and helpful staff, great location, really big.room and bed, room is pretty soundproof, nice view.

Rooms don't get cleaned in between, you should ask for new towels, there are no vegetarian breakfast options (although I didn't ask for it, if I did they would probably accomodate it).
