We loved everything about this hotel. We had our balcony overlooking the garden and the river, we loved the view and it was so pleasant to spend some time there in the evening. The garden and the pool are very well maintained and they look beautiful. The room met all our expectations and I have to appreciate the very big shower and the great water pressure. The pool is big, surrounded by trees and plants and we did not have any issue on finding sunbeds. They have a pool bar also and even happy hour. The location is great also, in a calm area of Hoi An but only 5 minutes away of the night market, river and action. We also used their transportation from Da Nang airport to the hotel and everything went very smooth. Breakfast was fine, I would say similar with other hotels we stayed during our Vietnam tour.

I cannot find anything, we really loved the hotel and we would for sure stay again there.

The room was spacious, clean, with a big balcony. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of food. The hotel is conveniently located near the old city.

Unfortunately there is a building construction next door. Very noisy during the day, however is not fault of the property, it caused some annoyance.

We have been to the Emerald on many occasions and are always completely satisfied,however this was the first time with the new owners and there are a few subtle differences to the previous owners. This did not affect our feelings during our stay. It remains an excellent destination in Hoi An.

The fact that we couldn’t sit and talk quietly in the gardens after ten at night didn’t go down too well with us as it is the best time of the day because of the heat and humidity,being far enough away from any rooms so as not to disturb anybody didn’t make any difference.

Really wanted somewhere with a big pool and a garden to spend lazy days in, Emerald was perfect with stunning views over the river. Location is superb, in a quiet area but only a five-minute walk from the town centre. Rooms were well equipped, great showers, good Wi-Fi, tasty food and friendly, helpful staff. A special thanks to Hoia, the hotel manager, who went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our stay, nothing was too much trouble. Hoi An was beautiful, with plenty to do, we had teenage children with us who enjoyed the boat trips, cooking course and a couple of trips to the beach. We also visited Ba Na hills, we were lucky to get a clear day, worth it just for the cable cars & views - amazing. Would we go back? We don't usually go straight back to the same place so soon but on this occasion, we'd only been back two days before we booked for next year!

Only happened once but not enough sun loungers. The hotel has a big garden it would be nice if they kept some extra ones to use in the garden when the poolside ones are all used, especially as they offer day passes.

Staffs are very supportive and responsive to chat.

The room soundproof is limited. Several breakfast choices seem to be cooked long before serving, cold, and not delicious.

Great location - I took the river view room which is simply serene.

Bathroom is a bit old but still very clean.

Beachfront riverfront property. We had a ground floor river facing room with a terrace, also close to pool which was a perfect temperature and very clean. Not always enough beds by the pool but there are also chairs down closer to the river so all good. Breakfast was awesome, everything you could want. Happy Hour goes for about 6 hours at 2 for 1 which was great value. All of the staff are amazing from reception, resturant staff and gardner's, so friendly, and go over and above to whatever they can to make your stay more comfortable. The young man Kiet (lifeguard) barman who is stationed at what looks like a beachbar looked after us so well. You order your food or drinks through him and they get delivered to the beach hut. As there were 4 of us who like very cold beer and plenty of it, he borrowed our small esky and filled it with beer and ice and kept it at the beach hut for us. He was awesome. He practices his English by chatting to guests and he is very good. We recommend him for any promotion that may arise. Would definitely stay here again. Thankyou all so much for making our stay so nice. 🙂 The only thing that you could improve on would be to provide the little beach hut with a big drinks cooler (esky) so Kiet can keep the beers icy cold and close at hand. Also provide a speaker so music can be played. If we can't get icy cold beer, we would move onto to somewhere else to get one, therefore your hotel is not making as much profit. Just food for thought. 🙏
