We loved everything about this hotel. We had our balcony overlooking the garden and the river, we loved the view and it was so pleasant to spend some time there in the evening. The garden and the pool are very well maintained and they look beautiful. The room met all our expectations and I have to appreciate the very big shower and the great water pressure. The pool is big, surrounded by trees and plants and we did not have any issue on finding sunbeds. They have a pool bar also and even happy hour. The location is great also, in a calm area of Hoi An but only 5 minutes away of the night market, river and action. We also used their transportation from Da Nang airport to the hotel and everything went very smooth. Breakfast was fine, I would say similar with other hotels we stayed during our Vietnam tour.

I cannot find anything, we really loved the hotel and we would for sure stay again there.

The room was spacious, clean, with a big balcony. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety of food. The hotel is conveniently located near the old city.

Unfortunately there is a building construction next door. Very noisy during the day, however is not fault of the property, it caused some annoyance.

Really wanted somewhere with a big pool and a garden to spend lazy days in, Emerald was perfect with stunning views over the river. Location is superb, in a quiet area but only a five-minute walk from the town centre. Rooms were well equipped, great showers, good Wi-Fi, tasty food and friendly, helpful staff. A special thanks to Hoia, the hotel manager, who went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our stay, nothing was too much trouble. Hoi An was beautiful, with plenty to do, we had teenage children with us who enjoyed the boat trips, cooking course and a couple of trips to the beach. We also visited Ba Na hills, we were lucky to get a clear day, worth it just for the cable cars & views - amazing. Would we go back? We don't usually go straight back to the same place so soon but on this occasion, we'd only been back two days before we booked for next year!

Only happened once but not enough sun loungers. The hotel has a big garden it would be nice if they kept some extra ones to use in the garden when the poolside ones are all used, especially as they offer day passes.

Perfect location for relaxing at hotel by the pool, two for one happy hour 12-6 everyday! Room was spacious with a very comfortable king size bed and a spare single. Close to the night markets which is bustling every night. The staff were very friendly and would do anything you. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to use the spa facilities… 60 minute whole body massage only 290k! The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant for other meals was also excellent! Our first time to Vietnam and Hoi An is our favourite place so far! The Emerald Hoi An Hotel is the perfect place and we will return!

We have been to the Emerald on many occasions and are always completely satisfied,however this was the first time with the new owners and there are a few subtle differences to the previous owners. This did not affect our feelings during our stay. It remains an excellent destination in Hoi An.

The fact that we couldn’t sit and talk quietly in the gardens after ten at night didn’t go down too well with us as it is the best time of the day because of the heat and humidity,being far enough away from any rooms so as not to disturb anybody didn’t make any difference.

The location is great. It is on the riverfront and within walking distance from the ancient town center -- but far enough for peaceful stay. All rooms are wide and have fabulous river/pool view. They are well-equipped with air conditioner, minibar, safe box, and all basic amenities, such as, tooth brush and tooth paste. Breakfast is buffet with variety of choices. Staffs are very supportive and responsive to chat.

The room soundproof is limited. Several breakfast choices seem to be cooked long before serving, cold, and not delicious.

Great location - I took the river view room which is simply serene.

Bathroom is a bit old but still very clean.
