Tri, the owner of Moon Homestay, is the most helpful and considerate owner we have after being here in Vietnam for 8 weeks. I had a dental emergency on Christmas Eve, and Tri arranged the dental appointment for the next morning. He drove me there and stayed with me the whole time as the dentists English was not great. I had to have a crown replaced on my front tooth. He drove me back for the second appointment and again he stayed with me the whole time. Just a fantastic man. A thousand thank yous Tri !!!!!! The householders were super friendly and helped us out a lot. They showed us the places we should visit and even recommanded a good taylor. He also organised a taxi to the airport for us. Good thing about this homestay is its nice location. You are near the old japanese bridge, some good restaurants and you even have the nice market right infront of it. The rooms were nice too. Clean, big and with a balcony! Can highly recommand!

I most especially liked the family that owns the property. They were welcoming and kind. The location was fantastic. I loved my room where I could sit on terrace and view the neighborhood activities by day and the night market at night. The property also offers massages and I enjoyed foot massages and full body massage.

Great location with the night market right outside but not noisy, the market was gone by 10pm. 2 minute stroll to the river with the Japanese bridge opposite. Beware the property doesn’t have an elevator, you can get a coffee from a local vendor just outside from 7am.

We had a great stay here, 2 minute walk through markets to the main bridge of light & old town. perfect location. Room clean & comfortable

We found it hard to communicate with the host as he wasn’t around when we needed him. A phone number or some type of contact would have been good if we needed to speak with you, especially when your not there. Also shower drain was very blocked

To say that it's "very close" to the night market is an understatement. The night market is set at the doorstep of this homestay. Don't worry about the noise though, because the market closes/disassembles at 10 PM, so it's not noisy at night. Location wise, the homestay is located on an island, 3 minutes walk from the old part of the town, where it's the liveliest in the evening. The staff are nice and friendly, and you can also rent bicycles (and maybe scooters) there.

The AC didn't work at first until we checked with the host and found out they forgot to turn on the AC fuse for our room, but that really wasn't a big deal.

My ‘go to’ hotel whenever in Hoi An. Beautiful family, large clean comfortable rooms and great shower. And if you’re after an amazing massage ask for Su! Thanks Tri, until next time 💕

There is nothing not to like.

It is in the heart of Hoi an, walking distance to the night market and views. The property is clean, spacious two beds and friendly owner.

As it is in the heart of the night market street, the morning it is very quiet, but night time it is very noisy and busy, so not suitable for those who want to have a early night rest.

We had a great stay here. The location is amazing, literally on the doorstep of the night market and a 4 min walk to the old town. Heaps of restaurants around too. The room was clean, tidy and well maintained. the family were lovely. We had a great stay.

Fantastic location within walking distance of all of the main sights. Very hospitable staff. I found the beds to be comfortable.

The night market outside can get noisy but that's to be expected. Bring earplugs.
