Lovely large room, comfortable beds, staff very helpful

The pool area was lovely, but not enough sunbeds , they have some unusable ones, this need reviewing There are only 5 usable ones, abs considering the size if the property, this ro me is woefully inadequate.

Stayed here as solo female traveler/digital nomad for 20 days in February 2025. Good location - walking distance to the beach (200m), 4km to town, in a quiet bend of the river, with numerous restaurants, grocery stores, and spas nearby. Good infrastructure - approx. 20mx10m pool, mature garden (compliments to the gardener!), TV with international channels, good wifi (but unsecured). Excellent soft services - ample Western/Asian breakfast buffet (with fresh fruit juice, homemade yogurt, and live cooking station), free shuttle bus to town and back (approx. 9am, 10am, 1pm, 3pm, 4pm), good value massages (cheaper than in nearby spas), excellent bottle of red wine in the room (very reasonably priced compared to nearby restaurants!). And last but not least - EXCELLENT staff, with special thanks to Lily the receptionist, Superman :-), Poni the bartender, the lovely kitchen people, the drivers..... Everybody was so helpful and friendly. Thank you so much! I will be back!

I personally didn't like the wide sitting ledge around the pool (about 10 cm underwater), because it takes up approx. 1/3rd of the available swimming area. But that's my personal opinion - maybe other people will like it :-)

Pretty hotel, nice landscaping, close to the beach. We had two communicated rooms that were spacious and had a pretty river view.

It felt empty. It’s close to the beach, but not really next to it. The service was ok, but they were little details such as a menu on offer in the Restaurant that included juice but then it turned out they didn’t have juice, only sodas. The bathrooms were a little outdated and they got wet when you took a shower. The bathroom also had a step and one of my family members hurt his toe quite badly on it

This hotel is like no other in Vietnam - The manager Ann and her staff were amazing. From the moment we arrived they made us so welcome. Ann is such a kind, helpful, professional manager who helped us so much. A special thanks to the breakfast team as well - an amazing breakfast with such a variety. We booked a river view room and the view was out of this world - we spent a lot of the time sitting on our terrace overlooking the coconut trees and the fishing boots going back and forth - it was so peaceful and relaxing. We booked for 18 days and then extended for a further 3 nights and have booked another week for when we return to Hoi an before the end of our travels. Thank you River Beach resort!

The hotel was lovely, situated on a beautiful river bank very near the beach. The hotel has a riverside garden bar by the pool. Communication with staff prior to arriving was excellent and Anna (who was amazing throughout) helped us to organise a taxi from the train station and allowed us an early check in when we arrived, which was so kind and made a massive difference to the start of our family Christmas. The view from our ground floor room out over the river was exceptional and we loved watching the birdlife and fishing boats passing by. The children enjoyed swimming in the pool every day, even when it was raining. The range of choice at breakfast was great. We also loved spending time at the riverside bar, lit by lanterns, with a relaxed and happy vibe. The room was lovely and we enjoyed the bath and veranda a lot! They provided us with a large extra cot which was very comfortable for our little girl. But above all the friendliness and care of all the staff, led by Anna, made our stay so happy and memorable and our children said it was the best place they stayed in Vietnam! Would highly recommend to other families.

Nice hotel with lovely garden. Friendly staff. Opt for the Riverside-view-rooms. Great view and so peaceful, with the small fishing boats passing by. Good buffet breakfast with lots of Western and Asian food to choose from. (Although the appearance of the restaurants is not appealing) They have sunbeds (free) on the beach at restaurant number 5.

The beach and the appearance of the restaurants/bars there was disappointing. All was neglected and rather dirty with lots of rubbish. The River beach Resort had a lovely pool but only 13 sunbeds, which is way too little.

The resort is in a lovely location. We enjoyed our afternoon beers sat on the terrace overlooking the river. About 100mtrs up the road is a very nice beach, white sand, lovely clear water. Our room was very spacious with peaceful views of the garden and river. There is definitely a very family atmosphere. Anna, the service manager has a lovely warm personality making everyone feel special. This has carried through to her front of house staff, Superman, Lilly & Tien who all do their very best to make everyone feel welcome. Breakfast is more than adequate, plenty of fresh fruit, traditional Asian dishes alongside of bacon and eggs or eggs cooked whichever way you want, cold meats croissants etc. The dinning room staff led by Tony & Vam Ella were always cheerful and very efficient making sure we were very well fed.

I have nothing negative to say. The River Beach like most hotels in Hoi An have been set back because of the Covid years. They are only just now getting back on their feet they need tourists to enable them to re-invest in their properties bringing them back to where they were pre covid.

We stayed at the River Beach Resort for a month and it is such a great relaxing place, beautiful views over the river, next to the beach and 5 star service from all the staff. Anna and her team (Lilly, Tien & reception guy) made us so welcome. Greeted us every day and always helping whenever needed. The breakfast team Tony, Van Ella and the egg guys really looked after us every morning. The breakfast selection was so good and fresh and the fresh coffee was so tasty. This hotel is like no other in Vietnam!

The staff at this property were exceptional. Very friendly and always willing to help. We only stayed for 4 nights but we were treated as though we were regular guests. Anna and 'Superman' on the front desk couldn't do more for us and Charlie the bar manager was exceptional giving us advice on where to visit.

The property is a little dated and could do with a bit of a re-vamp in the public areas and especially around the pool area. There needs to be more sun loungers around the pool area for the size of the property too and perhaps some umbrellas.

It is a beautifully laid-out property with a small pool in the middle. The beach is a two-minute walk from the hotel. Our room overlooked the gently flowing river, the best way to spend hours enjoying life moving on the slow lane. The staff was friendly and accommodating, led by the exceptional and smiling front office manager, Huyne (Anna). Anna was always there to assist and guide us. We booked a taxi through the hotel for airport pick-up and drop-off and our day trip to My Son and found the fares quite competitive in comparison to Grab, the Uber equivalent in Viet Nam. Good value for money, and thank you for making our stay memorable.
