Overall, we had a nice stay at this hotel. The location is great—quiet and peaceful, but still close enough to everything. There’s also a free shuttle to and from Hoi An, which is very convenient. The hotel has a beautiful private area with a nice atmosphere. Rooms are cleaned every day and towels are replaced daily. The beds are comfortable, and there’s both A/C and a fan, which was great. We also liked the complimentary tea, coffee, and bottled water in the room. Breakfast was tasty, with different options each day and fresh fruit. The pool is clean and a good place to relax.

A few downsides: the room had a slight damp smell, even though there were aroma sticks inside. The gym is basic, with just a few machines and dumbbells. It wasn’t spotless—some dust here and there—and it closes after 7pm, which can be a bit inconvenient. The beach area could use some improvement. There are only about 8–10 sunbeds, and the beach pavilion (which looks like it used to be a bar) isn’t well maintained. There are cracks in the counter and some broken doors.

Everything is super modern and the setting is dreamy, built in a lagoon. The staff are first class. Cua Dai Beach is minutes away and other beaches are a short cycle away. Great selection for breakfast. I stayed 3 nights but would have stayed longer but for a tight schedule. I would definitely return.

There wasn't anything about the Resort that I didn't like.

The bed

The pool is used by non guests. Sometimes dozens of children beetween 5 and 14 years olds. Relax is just impossible.

This is a really good location, a short taxi ride from the centre of Hoi An. Plus the hotel does offer a free shuttle service too. We didn’t get the best weather but the beautiful grounds made up for the lack of sun. Wonderful friendly staff.

They do offer bicycles and they said the policy was to return them by 7pm. However a group of people seemed to “take ownership” for a number of days and they weren’t returned for others to use. I would suggest that the hotel invests in many more bicycles and this does appear to be a favourite way to get around the local area.

The breakfast selection was great and the staff were generally attentive. The pool was freezing but nice once the sun came out, the pool bar was good, with a good selection of cocktails and snacks.

We felt the rooms were a little small for us. We had 4 of us in the room and requested 2 twin beds (which are normally big enough) but they really weren't! Our son slept on the floor! Our children are 10 and 7. It would have been nice to have seating outside. It would have been good to have somewhere to hang wet clothing/swimwear as we were 'told off' for hanging it over the railing of our room but where else to dry it?! We ate dinner in the Chopsticks restaurant the first night and regretted it, it cost a lot and I sent back my dinner as it was inedible, they didn't charge me for it and apologised but we didn't eat there again!

Koi resort Hoi an is a really amazing resort! The location is perfect, on the lake and right next to one of the most beautiful beaches. The pool was perfect and the staff was amazing! The fact that there’s an adult only pool was very impressive and allowed us to have great time with and without our children at times. Overall, we had a great time staying in Koi and we highly recommend the place.

The gym was pretty basic. They don’t serve coffee by request (cappuccino) in the breakfast, which is something that any other 5 star hotel we’ve been to in Vietnam does provide.

-Beautiful, well maintained resort grounds -Concept of the indoor pool (which we had booked) is nice, especially when it rains -Nice staff -overall luxury feel -electric carts which drive you and your luggage around are a nice extra

-the indoor pool villa doesn’t have any sunbeds (the outdoor pool villa has 2). There’s just 2 chairs outside and a hammock. For a villa with 3 bedrooms that’s not enough and also: next to a pool you want sunbeds, not just a chair. -you book a villa, but don’t expect a real kitchen. There’s only a fridge, a sink and a microwave, some plates, bowls, spoons and chopsticks. Not even a knife to cut the (complimentary) fruit you get. So don’t expect to cook something or even have a quick lunch at the villa (except for instant noodles of course) -the breakfast had a great spread but the bread and pastry section needs attention: a lot of it is very dry/not fresh.

Beautiful property and very nice staff. Great breakfast spread. The property also provides comfortable shuttle service to the Old Town.

We were travelling with two kids - 4 and 7 yrs. The property doesn't have sufficient facilities for kids. Not enough cycles and we had to wait a long time to get ours and none of them had kids seats. Also the kids play area just has a few board games only. The space is huge but it's practically empty. They should upgrade the facilities and add more facilities considering the property is away from the main town and there's not much to do during bad weather. Also the private beach area needs to be cleaned.

I’ve cycled past this hotel for years, always thinking it looked like a peaceful place. For our anniversary, my wife and I finally decided to book a stay—and I’m so glad we did. The rooms were better than the photos, which was a nice surprise. The whole place had this calm, romantic vibe, and everything was really well taken care of. It just felt easy to relax there. We had some great meals at the restaurant on the property, and the spa was even better. I had one of the best massages I’ve ever experienced, and using the sauna afterwards made it even better. From check-in to checkout, everything went smoothly. The staff were friendly, attentive, and honestly better than what I’ve experienced at some high-end hotels. It was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary, and I’d definitely go back.

Beautiful resort and we enjoyed the room on the lake side. The decoration and facilities in the room are convenient, the gardens are nice too. We also enjoyed both pool and it was quiet at the spa pool. Buffet breakfast was good quality and there were plenty of options. We also tried the menu at the pool and it was good. Golf carts can take you around the resort. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Staff was well manered and very nice and accomodating

Like many Hoi An resorts, we can tell that Covid hit hard on them. While the resort is still in good condition, we can tell that it is also getting old and not very well maintainted as it should be for this hotel standard (sun lounges at the pool and beach are not very clean for example).I came to this resort in 2019 and it looked more clean and maintained. The roof terrace/bar is was not opened at all
