Beautiful location, quiet. Property is a little dated and old-fashioned, but very lovely. Rooms are spacious and the bathroom has a decent shower. All rooms have a little sitting out area, which is nice. Staff are wonderful and dinners at the restaurant are very nice. Some of the best food during our stay in Vietnam. Nice swimming pool.

When arriving early by bus, we decided to wait until our room was ready - which was quite a long time. We weren't told our room was ready, so probably were waiting around for quite unnecessarily. We were told we could have breakfast whilst we were waiting, which was nice.

Eco Villas & Spa in Sapa is a true hidden gem surrounded by nature. The setting is breathtaking, with views of the mountains and rice terraces all around, making it the perfect place to relax and connect with nature. The staff are exceptionally kind and welcoming – they go out of their way to make you feel at home. From check-in to departure, everything is handled with warmth and professionalism. The facilities are superb: comfortable villas, a beautiful swimming pool, and a serene spa where you can enjoy soothing massages while listening to the sounds of nature. The food is delicious and prepared with care, and there are convenient taxi services to take you into town or nearby attractions when needed. For those who love adventure, trekking routes are easily accessible, offering the chance to explore Sapa’s natural beauty up close. After a day of hiking, coming back to a relaxing massage or a dip in the pool feels like pure bliss. Everything – from the staff and food to the spa, pool, and trekking experience – is simply superb. Eco Villas & Spa is an ideal choice for anyone looking for both comfort and authentic nature experiences in Sapa.

The only small downside is that the pet dog often comes to guests, which may not be comfortable for everyone.

We experienced fantastic communications with Staff at the Sapa Eco Villas & Spa. Mahn is a great asset on reception with her cheeky smile and knowledge of Supan and Sapa tours, and anything else you could require. Staff are attentive and happy a pleasure to deal with. Lum taxied us to Sapa for our day trips lovely local funny and knowledgeable. Views from our room were wonderful. Peaceful garden surroundings and pool was beautiful. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Bed was large and comfortable. Brad is 6ft4 in tall he enjoyed the large bed. Food at the restaurant was lovely, and staff again were very attentive to our needs.

Nothing to dislike. We enjoyed the peaceful setting, the journey to Sapa town approximately 30 minutes for day outings.

Very nice bungalows and lovely garden, there is a Spa Area with 2 Saunas and Herbal Bath which we enjoyed a lot on cold days - a short swim in the cold outdoor pool refeshes you after Sauna. The staff is very nice and helpful, helped us with transport, tours and food - the restaurant is very good: try the signature menu for 2, it is great and really good value for money! The bungalows are spacious and have air condition, a big bathroom with shower and bathtub! We had a beautiful view over the rice fields from the little balcony. The location is around 30min away from Sapa, you will always have to take a taxi but we wanted to be further away from the crowds and enjoyed the quiet stay in nature. There are some little restaurants, cafés with view and hiking paths starting right from the hotel which we did without guide (you could always ask for a guide as well).

The Bungalow is just heated by air condition and has no isolation which takes long to warm up and is a waste of energy also. The Spa Area js definitely missing a heated relax room to rest after Sauna or herbal bath, you have to go straight outside. The shower often switches from hot to cold, you need to regulate it several times.

Great modern property about 25 minute outside of Sa Pa which is what we wanted. Our room faced a local road which was busy during the day but didn’t bother us at night. Beautiful views of the terraces from our deck. Good size room with Comfortable beds and a nice hot shower. We enjoyed the pool and sun loungers. The hotel cooks breakfast to order and the choices were generous. We also ate dinner there and it was cooked fresh and hot and was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. We booked the half day hike through the hotel with a lovely Hmong guide. I highly recommend it!! It was quite hot so this length worked well for us. I considered staying at the expensive Topas Echo Lodge but I’m glad I went with this as it was a fraction of the price and fantastic!

Loved it all

We loved the location! Just amazing. It was about 12 km outside of the very active SAPA town. We sat on our porch daily and took photos of the changing rice fields and weather. We were there in mid August. Just walk the village up the road or down. See rice field care, children playing including with water buffalo and cooling in the springs and streams. We experienced the rise of the stream to a huge river. Living in clouds and in sunshine. The people were friendly and hotel staff were extremely helpful. They offer Trekking, batiking and crafts workshops in the villages, meals at reasonable prices. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The bungalow style room has a nice size walk in shower, bathtub too. The towels are good quality and soft. A place to put your clothes or lay open your suitcase. There is a balcony, ours faced the mountains of rice fields and we could see the sunset. There are comfortable chairs on the balcony and a sofa in the room. The bed is good. There are side tables. The infinity pool also had a jacuzzi AND fantastic views of the mountains. and rice terraces.

We could have stayed longer.

During Vietnam vacation, I had the opportunity to also stay at the much higher priced Laxsik, which I must say is comparable even at a fraction of the price. What truly set Sapa Eco Villas and Spa apart was the exceptional service provided by the staff. They went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect. The staff even contacted me via WhatsApp to check if everything was going well and if I required any additional services such as meals, tours, or taxi arrangements. This level of personalized attention made me feel valued and well taken care of. The resort itself offers a range of amenities to enhance the overall experience. From the tranquil spa where I indulged in rejuvenating treatments to the delicious meals served at the on-site restaurant, every aspect of my stay was meticulously curated to provide a memorable experience. This stay was so amazing and I can wait to revisit! Staff were incredibly helpful, welcoming, and kind. They arranged us to be picked up for our arrival and departure, arranged for a great day out trekking, put on an amazing cooking class for us, brought stuff to our room when we needed. Answered all messaged very quickly and efficiently. The spa treatments were amazing! Massage, hot tubs and sauna for such a great price. The food was delicious and well priced. The rooms were very clean and our beds were so comfy. Views were unbeatable. They helped us down size our room to something cheaper but still beautiful last minute when one friend was unable to make it. Loved everything about our stay and can’t wait to come visit again!

Nothing it was perfect!

Better than the photos. Closest I came to being actual 5 star in Vietnam. It is a very relaxing hotel and they have a himalayan salt wall sauna that is amazing. The staff are incredible. Very friendly. Food was great and they do room service! I went when it was cold but with the sauna I was able to get warm. This place is 30min out of Sapa Town but if you want peace and a good night's sleep I highly recommend. Most places I booked in Vietnam weren't like the picture. But this place was better. It was also the cleanest hotel I stayed in my time in North Vietnam. I highly recommend especially if you need to recharge from the frantic pace of Vietnam.

Only thing to consider is 30min out of town which is about $16 Australian in a taxi and there are no shops around.

The villa is located at a local village where you can experience the daily local life here, and we took trekking tour with local guide Gao, she was very good and informative with the surroundings and we were able to experience the local culture and life. The villa has everything you need and the room view is beautiful overlooking the mountains and the stream of water. The restaurant has good food options with reasonable prices given the fact that there are no restaurants nearby. We tried the spa after trekking and it was very relaxing. Overall great experience and good for someone who looks for a peaceful and relaxing place out of the bustling city. Thank you for Eco Villas team and keep up the good work. And would return if we are traveling to Sapa next time.
