What a stunning property. If you are in north of Vietnam you have to make the special trip to Sa Pa and you have to stay at the Topas Eco Lodge. It’s hard to put into words how beautiful this property is and how environmentally aware they are. All staff are from the local communities and they have a clear and practical view of sustainability. They make you feel right at home. Definitely do the hikes and activities with Hai. He is an amazing guide and shares great stories about the region and its people.

This hotel is something really unique. The landscape is one of the most beautiful we have ever seen. It does not matter which edge of the hotel are you at, everything is just so beautiful and calm. It is literally a paradise in the clouds with breathtaking views. We loved the sundown drinks provided by the hotel between 5 to 6. For the sundown drinks the hotel provides with quality spirits and great snacks which is a lovely touch from the hotel and it is such a great feeling having drinks while watching the beautiful sunset. All members of staff are really helpful and kind. The breakfast is great, we loved the selections. The matcha latte is fabulous. The dinner selection is good and my personal favourite was the Bo Luc Lac - Shaken Beef. The rooms are beautiful. We also loved the fact that the hotel is very environment friendly and offers tokens for guest if they skip the cleaning for a day. The hotel does not push customers and does not try upsell which is also a great experience. All in all me and my wife we absolutely loved this place and we highly recommend it. We loved everything, however the bed mattress could be a bit softer. Alright I used to sleep on a very soft mattress. :)

Absolutely stunning location beautifully set at the top of the mountain. Well designed buildings sympathetic to the local culture and multiple restaurants/pools for the number of guests. Excellent guides.

Poor attention to detail with guests. Noisy pool pumps left on through the night, broken/dirty coffee machine, tea bags not refilled, dirty cups from previous guests left in room, glasses left uncleared, slow and unhelpful reception, limited curtains or shutters (e.g., possible to see into bathroom from the restaurant above). Too many people using the swimming pool for an instagram/tiktok photoshoot meant difficult for other guests to enjoy. Overall a substandard approach to standards that took away from what is an amazing lodge. This could easily be fixed…

One of the most beautiful hotels that I have ever stayed in! Wonderful luxury from start to end! The most idyllic setting with breathtaking views and excellent service from all the staff! Having 2 horizon pools - one hot and one cold - was so luxurious. Can’t recommend this hotel enough if you want a very special experience!

Everything about this property is a 10 plus! We loved the staff from the General Manager (Reto), the Assistant General Manager (Nang), the Restaurant Manager (Le Hoang), the Executive Chef (Benjamin) and The Travel desk team (Kevin) along with the reception desk staff as this crew knows how to take care of guests and their every need. The property itself is amazing but the hospitality extended by all staff was truly impeccable. Other than special people, the food was fabulous, the spa was incredible and the pools were spectacular. Highly recommend for anybody that is seeking a magical experience in a picturesque setting. The bungalows were spacious and all had incredible views and were extremely comfortable for any duration of a stay.

The Vietnamese vegan offerings on the Stilt House lunch and dinner menu were delightful. The "Viet-Western" steak menu at the 360 Restaurant was one of the best meals I've ever had anywhere. The breakfast buffet was varied, delicious, and included plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. My treatments in the spa were heavenly and well worth the luxury hotel prices. The "chalet style" Premium Executive Bungalow was cozy, rustic, and still luxuriously comfortable. I hope the universe will allow me to return to Topas Ecolodge in the future.

I really enjoy the entire resort area. Beautiful scenic view everywhere. Love that you can walk around easily to enjoy the scene. The food at the restaurant was great quality. We had dinner every day at Stiff House and it was great. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. This was a perfect vacation spot for us to relax and enjoy the facility entirely without needing to go out and explore too much. All the staff were so accommodating and polite. I greatly appreciate them letting us check in early.

I think it would be better if there is more facility shuttle availability to downtown, especially for evening time. There are more morning trip but not much in the evening so we would need to call a taxi to go home from downtown Lao Cai

The bungalows provide stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, The ecolodge's commitment to sustainability is evident in its eco-friendly practices and support for local communities. The infinity pool is a highlight, offering views that make you feel like you're swimming in the clouds. Dining options are limited to the lodge's restaurants, although the food here was exceptional. We loved the cozy feel of the lodge to have a pre-dinner drink. The experience is definitely worth the price.

I’m honestly at a loss for words to describe my experience here! It felt like stepping into a fairytale, where even the photos taken on a phone look too perfect to be real—that’s how stunning and magical this place is. It’s absolutely worth the long journey, even for just one night, as we did. And we don’t regret it for a second. We left with this night forever etched in our hearts, hoping to return one day—this time with family and loved ones to share this dream with them.
