Massive room, quiet location, very clean, bed was the most comfortable we've slept in for ages. Staff are friendly and helpful. You need to walk about 5 - 10 minutes to where all the cafes and bars are, but it is an easy and safe walk across the local bridge. The citadel is about 25 minutes walk away, and if you buy a combo ticket it includes entry to up to three mausoleums over two days (the hotel can sort out transport at a good rate). I'd stay here again - it's a much better option than hotels right in the centre which will be much noisier.

Room felt damp, hard to dry clothes out.

It is an accessible location; they were kind enough to give us a room when we arrived super early. The beds were super comfortable. Sweet and kind reception and staff. Nice view from the top floor of the river. Fantastic sushi restaurant down the road

The one thing that didn’t go as smoothly as the reception wasn’t able to reserve us two transfers in a row to Danang. The first one was booked, but they didn’t let us know through the booking. The second reservation didn’t go through At all. But we made it there anyway. So maybe some communication with guests and transport could be improved. Although we did ask the day of, maybe it’s easier to coordinate with them the day before your transfer.

Lovely spacious clean room, very comfortable bed, a hanging space for clothes, a mini fridge, excellent location just 5 minutes walk from Walking Street, and friendly helpful staff. I would definitely come back if I'm in Huế again.

Not a problem for me at all, but bear in mind that the bathroom is a wet room with the shower head just to the right of the toilet so the whole area will be wet once you've showered.

The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. There was an airport shuttle available upon request. We bought a SIM card at the airport in Saigon and the hotel forwarded our number to the shuttle driver, which was very convenient. Generally, the staff responded very fast and gave us an extensive list of restaurants and places to visit! They even showed us how to book a "grab" taxi in Vietnam and printed our train tickets. Note that the entrance of the hotel is situated in a small alley, which makes the place very calm. Further, it was possible to book various tours directly via the hotel staff. (We took a lagoon tour at a reasonable price and enjoyed it a lot.)

The Purple Hue was very clean and comfortable. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. The staff were amazing and made our stay perfect. I highly recommend staying at Purple Hue if you visit Hue. Short walk to the main town. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. We were also able to walk to the citadel and imperial palace.

Everything was great! Location is perfect if you are a foodie/enjoy nice drinks next to the river. All the nice places were within a walking distance :) The hotel provided us with everything we needed. Beds were super comfortable :) they also provide a laundry service, which was highly appreciated. Thank you everyone for making our stay so comfortable! We would be happy to come back, should we ever visit Hue again:)

The room that we got was spacious and there were lovely views of the river from the window. The room was clean and it was cleaned every day as well. The staff was very attentive. The location is 10 minutes away on foot from the centre where all the restaurants and shops are, in a quiet alley. Overall our stay was very pleasant.

The WiFi signal in the room was quite poor

I booked the room with balcony but it wasn’t available so I got the room with the window. Anyway it is fine because the view was amazing!

Central location and very close to everything and a short 3 minute walk to the Main Street of bars and restaurants. Lucy and her staff were very accommodating and always ready to help! If you want to do any tours or find the best places to eat and drink, Lucy will organize everything for you :)

Son was very welcoming and provided some good tips for the city. The room was very comfortable, good beds. The lobby was also very nice and modern.

Most bathrooms in Vietnam have a shower kind of in between the sink and toilet instead of a separate area. which is fine. Only in this bathroom I found it a little too crammed. Could also have been cleaned a little more thoroughly but that’s just details.
