Staff in general were warm welcoming and very helpful in addressing needs requiring assistance. Fawaz...and Zim.... in particular were very positive ambassadors of the hotel

Not what I didn't like, but more towards a potential area for improvements. Food: Certain of the dishes offered were not commonly well known dishes such as baked beans. For those not well known dishes. It would have been helpful to have a side note/ label indicating what INGREDIENTS were used to make them, so that one could decide if it was suitable for ones specific dietary requirements.

We had a very pleasant stay. Excellent breakfast ! Two people who really touched us were Dipak who was always ready to serve at the entrance, and of course Adam the ever helpful concierge for our baggage n cabbie for the airport thru his app.

We weren't given an early check in sadly ! Tired out frm a nite flight, arrival early morn at 3 am...waited with some friends at their place and reported to the hotel at 12 noon and got our room keys only at 1.30...whilst we watched others checking in. We made at least 4 requests for the room at the reception.

THE HOTEL WAS EXCELLENT! THE BREAKFAST WAS VERY NICE WITH PLENTY OF ALL YOU NEED! THE ROOMS WAS VERY SPACIOUS, CLEAN AND QUIET! THE DINNER WAS ALSO VERY GOOD AND TASTEFUL WITH PLENTY VARIETY! I WOULD LIKE TO MENTION ESPECIALLY 4 PERSONS FROM THE STAFF OF THE HOTEL THAT THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL TO US! THE YOUNG LADY MAY WHO WAS AT THE RESTAURANT AND SHE WAS VERY WILLING TO HELP AND SERVE US AT THE DINNER! UDAY AND SAHOO CLEAN AND MAKE OUR ROOMS PERFECT EVERY SINGLE DAY! AND FINALLY OF COURSE GIHAN AT THE RECEPTION WHO WAS THE BEST GUY AND GIVE US A SOLUTION IN EVERY PROBLEM THAT WE HAD! WE ENJOYED THE ACCOMODATION AT COPTHORNE HOTEL! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AND I AM LOOKING FORWARD COME AGAIN IN DUBAI AND STAY AT COPTHORNE HOTEL!

We had a short but relaxing family stay at Copthorne Hotel Dubai. The room was clean, spacious and had a great view. The place was less crowded also. We enjoyed pool access and a delicious breakfast. Special thanks to the amazing staff — Shadab at the midnight check-in made us feel welcome, and Tijo was very welcoming and Ishfaq were very helpful during breakfast. The pool staff was also nice. Overall, a great experience. I recommend this place to families.

Only suggestion: the women's washroom near the pool could be more fresher in terms of smelling. Room washrooms were really fresh.

Breakfast choice was really good, loved the omelette made to order. Food overall, including the dinner choice, was plentiful and varied, but could have been a bit warmer. The staff in the restaurant were all lovely, especially Angelica, who always enquired how we were . We asked the man who checked us in if we could have a twin room, (unfortunately, we didn't get his name), instead of a double room, he laughed and asked how long we'd been married and then upgraded us to a one bed apartment, with a balcony, which was lovely. Everyone was super friendly and couldn't do enough for you. also free shuttle bus to beach and Dubai Mall. It was really close to the metro, 4 minutes walk, Deira Mall and numerous shops & restaurants. Swimming pool had sun from 11am. Its a perfect hotel for a few nights stopover, or a mini break

Hotter food in the restaurant, but apart from that nothing at all. Missing a glass of wine with dinner, but that's only if I'm being really picky about what we didn't like.

Room service and Location.

1. Staff - reception staff behavior was not good. I specifically asked to check in about an hour before as i had arrived early from another hotel. I had to attend to some office matters while my family was waiting for the room. I asked them to allow check in a bit early so that i can leave family at room and i can attend work matters. To my surprise they even took more than 2 hours while family kept waiting at the lobby. Totally Non cooperative. 2. Breakfast Menu options are very less. I get more menu options in even 3 star hotels. 3. I get a much bigger family room in other hotels. Ours was just ok. Not a large room as i should have been given. I was travelling with 2 small kids and I booked and paid for a larger room.

All the amenities and facilities provided by Copthorne were more than satisfactory. The open air pool and sauna were one of the highlights of our stay. The breakfast was quite enjoyable, the staff were all very friendly and helpful; especially Ms. Payam at the reception - she was very helpful, kind and friendly. The Deira City centre metro station is just a 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is very ideally located and close to convenience stores and restaurants.

Even when not kept next to a phone, the key card would stop functioning. The inconvenience was greater when the key card would work in the lift to get up to our floor, but then would not work to enter our rooms. So we had to go all the way back down to reception to get it activated again.

It all started with the reception we received from Ahmed! Having arrived just before midnight we were tired from a long flight from Thailand not only did he work hard to get checked in upon asking if there was an option to use the stairs to get to the 5th floor as my wife cannot use a elevator he went back onto the system and found us a room on the second floor not just any room though he upgraded our stay to a suite and did so with a great understanding and is an absolute credit to the Copthorne and Millennium brand

Zero to complain about the property is amazing

Excellent check-in ....gracious, hospitable staff even at our unsociable hour of arrival (1.30am). Throughout our stay, all staff were helpful, friendly and gracious. We also love the wide range of choice at the very well-priced breakfast buffet. We will definitely stay at Copthorne again...and we encourage all Australians in particular to break that unthinkably long haul to and from Europe, with a wonderful Dubai stopover . This has become a ritual for us, and we arrive at our ultimate destination refreshed and ready to go. Copthorne compares very favourably with other Dubai hotels, and will be our regular choice in the future.
