Staff in general were warm welcoming and very helpful in addressing needs requiring assistance. Fawaz...and Zim.... in particular were very positive ambassadors of the hotel

Not what I didn't like, but more towards a potential area for improvements. Food: Certain of the dishes offered were not commonly well known dishes such as baked beans. For those not well known dishes. It would have been helpful to have a side note/ label indicating what INGREDIENTS were used to make them, so that one could decide if it was suitable for ones specific dietary requirements.

We had a very pleasant stay. Excellent breakfast ! Two people who really touched us were Dipak who was always ready to serve at the entrance, and of course Adam the ever helpful concierge for our baggage n cabbie for the airport thru his app.

We weren't given an early check in sadly ! Tired out frm a nite flight, arrival early morn at 3 am...waited with some friends at their place and reported to the hotel at 12 noon and got our room keys only at 1.30...whilst we watched others checking in. We made at least 4 requests for the room at the reception.

Breakfast choice was really good, loved the omelette made to order. Food overall, including the dinner choice, was plentiful and varied, but could have been a bit warmer. The staff in the restaurant were all lovely, especially Angelica, who always enquired how we were . We asked the man who checked us in if we could have a twin room, (unfortunately, we didn't get his name), instead of a double room, he laughed and asked how long we'd been married and then upgraded us to a one bed apartment, with a balcony, which was lovely. Everyone was super friendly and couldn't do enough for you. also free shuttle bus to beach and Dubai Mall. It was really close to the metro, 4 minutes walk, Deira Mall and numerous shops & restaurants. Swimming pool had sun from 11am. Its a perfect hotel for a few nights stopover, or a mini break

Hotter food in the restaurant, but apart from that nothing at all. Missing a glass of wine with dinner, but that's only if I'm being really picky about what we didn't like.

Room service and Location.

1. Staff - reception staff behavior was not good. I specifically asked to check in about an hour before as i had arrived early from another hotel. I had to attend to some office matters while my family was waiting for the room. I asked them to allow check in a bit early so that i can leave family at room and i can attend work matters. To my surprise they even took more than 2 hours while family kept waiting at the lobby. Totally Non cooperative. 2. Breakfast Menu options are very less. I get more menu options in even 3 star hotels. 3. I get a much bigger family room in other hotels. Ours was just ok. Not a large room as i should have been given. I was travelling with 2 small kids and I booked and paid for a larger room.

It all started with the reception we received from Ahmed! Having arrived just before midnight we were tired from a long flight from Thailand not only did he work hard to get checked in upon asking if there was an option to use the stairs to get to the 5th floor as my wife cannot use a elevator he went back onto the system and found us a room on the second floor not just any room though he upgraded our stay to a suite and did so with a great understanding and is an absolute credit to the Copthorne and Millennium brand

Very pleased with the hotel, Iqbal at the front desk was very helpful.

Breakfast, paid for breakfast on one morning as we didn't have it included, food was very cold, not a great selection. Ordered drinks poolside, waited roughly 1 hour to receive our drinks and had to wait a further 30mins for the waitress to find the card machine so we could pay.

The bed and the pillows were extra comfortable, I slept so well. The bathroom was big, we had both a bath and a walk in shower. The towels were changed everyday but you could leave them on the rail which would mean you want to use them again, which i found a nice effort to be more green. The complimentary bottle of water was appreciated. We booked the room for 3 separate beds and when we arrived, two beds were pushed together and made as one. When we complained, they immediately sent someone to solve this mistake and we had no problems after! It was an easy fix. We could leave our bags at the reception before and after checking in as we were early after the airport upon arrival, and had way later flights than our check-out time.

The shower head in the shower was a bit loose, I was afraid it was gonna fall off, it was spraying from the sides too. All in all, it was useable, but definitely not the newest or best quality.

Good hotel location close to metro , airport, and to Deira mall. Room service team are very friendly, reception is very welcoming and smiling, special thanks to Mr. Ahmed he was very nice, also the bags person he was very respectful .

For me, the breakfast restaurant was small and the tables are very close to the buffet, sometimes it is not good to see people eating in front of you while you are standing in the buffet, the coffee is not good , the food is inclined to Asian taste, please provide oriental food, the egg chef is very respectful and cheerful. I tried to order breakfast in the room but the response was not good, they asked me the reason and I was embarrassed to tell them, I advice that the restaurant needs to expand

Very good location, a couple hundred meters from metro station City Center Deira and from the Mall with the same name (a very nice and modern part of Deira). Easy to reach from all 3 terminals of the airport (metro for T1 and T3 and bus C26 from T2). Very good rooms and amenities, very nice and friendly service from the reception, the concierge and the manager and a great, varied, tasty and absolutely plentiful breakfast. Proper termerature of the room. Free parking for hotel guests. I stayed in low season and -pricewise- I got a great value for money.

The pool area is a bit outdated, the general style of the furniture is sort of '90s (but still in perfect conditions). It is a dry hotel (and there is no bar serving alcohol in the vicinity). Overall, minor things.
