We spent just 1 night before catching the Ferry early the next morning .It was walking distance 10-15 minutes to the ferry terminal to go to Catalina island, they also have a shuttle that takes guests to terminal but it starts at 7 am , so if you’re getting on the 6 am Ferry you have to walk or take an Uber that it’s not worth taking for just a short walk.Hotel gives you coupons to get free breakfast , if they don’t ask for them.

It was a a shit show when trying to check in had to make a new reservation because the hotel couldn’t accommodate and I’m still being charged

Has shuttle to Carnival cruise terminal, free of charge, runs every 20 minutes from early morning to early afternoon, first come first serve Checked in quite late after a long drive down from SF, staff Aaron was very helpful, parking costs $35 but their carpark was full so we were offered free parking at a nearby multi-storey carpark. Checked in quickly. The rooms were spacious, the bed and pillow were so comfy. Value for money for Hilton.

Hit and miss with staff. While the night time staff Aaron was so helpful, morning staff was a lady who looked like she didn't want to be there, answered our questions half-heartedly.

Ashley and the front desk staff greeted us upon arrival, our room wasn't ready yet, but we went and had lunch in the bar area, and the server and bartender was outstanding. Everyone was pleasant, by the time we finished lunch, our room was ready. The refreshments in the lobby was an excellent touch, flavored waters, teas, etc. Front desk also gave us bottled water, which was very nice. Before arriving I had read the reviews, most said the staff wasnt friendly, but decided to take a chance, and we wasn't disappointed, will definitely stay again before cruising out. The lobby was beautiful, most importantly the staff was friendly, accommodating, and just gave top-notch service.

Enjoyed everything.

The hotel was clean, well staffed. Bonus was flavored waters and snacks.

Room was not ready at guaranteed time. Stated house keeping was behind. We watched a hundred people check in and go to their rooms. We kept being told house keeping was behind. I went to the floor we were to be on and not a house keeping cart was on the floor anywhere. So, basically they lied to us. After complaining when we got the keys to our room over an hour after check-in time, the did comp us a meal in the restaurant and returned 50% of the room rental rate. So, I would have much rather been in my room relaxing, they did come through with some comp that at least reduced the pain. Thank you!

The space was super cute. The lobby was welcoming and refreshing. It had giant jingle which encourage people to sit and play while having a cup of tea or cucumber, water generously provided by the facility. I love the ambience. The room is clean more than enough annuities not to mention the pool didn’t close until 11 p.m.

One thing I would say about the property is that the water pressure was a little low I think it could’ve been a lot more enjoyable if the shower had a little more pressure

Upon our arrival our reservation was not in the system. There was a problem thru Booking.com and could not be resolved. We were told to find another hotel as all the rooms were full. There were 3 employees, including the evening supervisor, that worked to help resolve our problem. The Supervisor by 7pm, had worked at getting a room cleaned and ready for us and we were so grateful. We also had a dinner voucher given to us by one of the agents. Our experience turned around to be more than satisfying and the employees were very gracious to us. Thank you for having such caring employees on your team.

Valet parking attendants were so personable and professional.

The room needed overhead lighting and the hydraulic desk chair was broken. The waiter in the restaurant was very aloof. The ice machines were broken so we had to have room service bring us ice 4 times which meant we paid 4 tips for something that is supposed to be free. Also disturbing was the free “newspaper” in the lobby—The Epoch Times. An ultra right wing conspiracy theory rag that is infiltrating the U.S. by buying ads in local/community newspapers and offered free to venues such as hotels and restaurants. Basically QAnon in print. The Hilton organization should ban these fear mongering publications from their hotels.

The location was great, very close to the ferry dock, and there was a shuttle available so it saved paying for parking at the ferry dock. My room was beautiful, with a balcony, and the TV remote was easy to use. The room was clean and comfortable.

I didn’t realize that I could have booked the return shuttle before my arrival back at the dock. As a result, I was the last to leave the ferry dock, as I had to wait 40 minutes. I also didn’t know if there was room service available, as there was no menu in the room. As I was getting ready to check out, I noticed a QR Code on the desk that may have told me, but it was too late by then. The ice machines on my floor, the floor above, and the floor above that were not working.

Just about everything, but it starts with the people have to say when you start to remember peoples names at least for me it means you remember them for a reason so for me, my remembering this staff names is because they’ve been impacted me in a way that made me feel good otherwise honestly, if in fact I had interaction with staff member that I don’t remember their name it probably wasn’t a good interaction anyway that happened great people super genuine some of the biggest smiles I’ve seen on the planet and this is a young group and I think it’s nice and I’ve been staying a few hotels lately and these folks are great so nice so so nice and I can’t think of a nicer word to say about nice but I’m so glad I I know. Had a good stay here and I do recommend it, you can go anywhere anywhere you want and you want but the people that are representing what it is you’re paying for or not good it’s not gonna be comfortable no matter how cute it is or pretty it is these people are so nice and they’re genuine and they’re consistently smiling and it’s real and that is super Great. The rooms are so clean. The place is so clean. I see that the clean staff is working day and night, so they’re really really paying attention to these rooms and it’s amazing how clean they are really so all that’s a plus the bed unbelievably comfortable so comfortable the sheets. I can’t say enough about it. Great great great it’s nice. I like the room a lot.

Not that I can think of all in all great day I lost track of how long I was here. I was here for a week extended twice. I’m here again one night I mean, I could choose another hotel but honestly, they’re all about the same price. why move your comfortable where you’re at? It’s more of a hassle soyeah I recommend it
