Staff was wonderful to speak to Property conviently located near the Interstate, easy access to and from Room was clean and did not have musty order may be because there were no rugs! Best part. Quiet even though they allow pets (which is great that they can accomdodate) The buffet attendant was very attentive to making sure there was always food available; tables were clean

Breakfast is buffet style, which I suspect is why the food wasn't very hot. I would prefer to order directly from the kitchen I was disappointed that the restaurant had closed, although there is a pub style restaurant walking distance from the hotel.

The staff was outstanding.Full breakfast,varied every day. The Breakfast crew(3) greeted us with smiles and conversation everyday(6) couldn't have been more helpful 😀 In house laundry was great. Room was large and they managed to locate us on the ground level,near a door for dog access.

Our only issue was, uncomfortable beds(room 238)2 queens.

It was huge. I should have told them that I can’t walk long distances. I had to park in back of the building, climb some steps, then there was a very long walk to the elevator. I go up and there is a sort of intersection with long halls going off in every direction. I finally found my hall and, wouldn’t you know it, my room was the very last room at the end of yet another long hall. I didn’t try the breakfast as I’m sure there would be tons of people.

I love spa and fitness and a comfortable environment. This place is the best way to travel on an adventure near all the wonderful downtown Portland, and the famous red lobster restaurants, Maine mall, Bar Harbor, The Mackworth island Park trails. Bark Cove lighthouse.  Breakfast is an excellent and friendly server. It's also a comfortable environment. This place is the best way to travel on adventures. Hotel seems to show its age and deserves some refurbishing for this price, but it is clean, the room was large our beds were very comfortable. Nice swimming pool.

Breakfast room is way too small for this size of hotel, which is definitely a downside. We had to queue and had problems finding a table - perhaps it was due to the peak season and holidays. Breakfast was ok, though.

The idea of the pool and hot tub. Along with the location.

Not the hotels fault. A couple of younger sports teams were there and when we tried to use the hot tub and pools they were jumping in and out of both, throwing balls and using the handicap electric chairs. They were splashing so bad that we had to leave the pool after only 15 min.

I liked the breakfast a lot. Somehow my boyfriend wasn't into it as much but I thought they really had great variety and it was decent. We very much enjoyed the comfortable king sized tempur-pedic bed that we had with tons of fluffy, decent quality pillows. I requested a room with massage chair in it because I saw they offered that and I was so happy I got that - it was fantastic! I thought the pool set up was very pretty - one big one and sundeck, and a smaller pool and hot tub with waterfall - the lights were pretty and it had a cozy cabin like feel.

We both felt like it smelled weird when we walked into our room but I guess we got used to it quickly, it didn't bother us too much - just a bit musty smell maybe (in general the furniture, etc. is a bit outdated but we didn't mind that either). I guess they allow dogs to stay as we heard some barking in addition to hearing some general noise from other guests but I didn't think it was that bad to be honest. We shared common spaces like the pool and breakfast area with quite a few other guests but I thought the staff was able to accommodate everyone. It was nice to see other families and travelers enjoying themselves and the facilities.

Heated outside pool is a great hit with the kids, especially in the middle of winter. Hot tub is great for adults and kiddie pool inside when you are done outside. Great breakfast selections and variety daily. Very comfortable beds.

Shower pressure was very lacking.

The pool was busy with teenagers & my travelling companions chose not join in, I guess they were a bit rowdy. A few of the things I liked about past trips there were the pool, the restaurant & huge breakfast. That was pre panDAMMIT. OH well. The value was good, I would certainly consider coming with my pup to one of the back side down & out rooms in which we stayed.

Convenient location if you are visiting Old Port. Clean rooms and facilities, property kept up very well. Nice morning buffet with a great variety of breakfast foods and drinks.

Room service not inforce unless you ask, had to ask for towels for our second morning. Issues with our door lock, a little tricky, notified desk and trick for locking door when leaving room was given.
