We were really impressed with the guy at the front desk — he was very friendly and provided excellent service. We also liked the rooms, which were quite decent, with good TV. The parking lot was large, comfortable, and easy to use.The gym was fairly clean, and overall, we had a good experience at the hotel.

The staff in the kitchen are constantly laughing loudly, which scares the guests. It also seems like they're often not doing their jobs, because the breakfast food is rarely ready and the trays are frequently empty. When the guy from the front desk walks in and says something to them, they stop laughing for a while, start working again, the dining area gets clean, and the food appears where it should be. But shortly after, it all goes back to how it was — they starts laughing loudly again and stops working.

The lobby and breakfast area are nicely appointed. The complimentary wine was a nice touch. The desk staff were pleasant and efficient. They really enjoyed their job, and engaged with their clientele. The location for us was easy access to Target Centre by car.

Our room was adequate and clean, but pretty tight. Our air conditioner was a bit noisy and only worked for a bit. We would have liked a coffee shop in the vicinity. There is a bar restaurant next door which was good and quite busy.

The buffet breakfasts were great and the area was kept very clean. The front desk staff were very responsive to any concerns that we had. We had an issue with our toilet so that moved us to another room on our final night. There was a sports bar next door to the hotel and a couple of fast food places nearby. We were there to attend a couple of Twins games so it was nice to be so close (10 minute drive) Free parking because in the downtown hotels they were charging between $25 and $50 per night to park.

The pillows were too hard. The fridge and wall AC unit in room #1 were quite noisy. Much quieter in the second room that they moved us to. When the plumber came to fix the slow flushing toilet on day two, he said it was fine, but there was no change. He should have recommended to the manager that they give us another room.

Perfect Location. I was in town to attend the Olympic Gymnastic trials held downtown at the Target Center. I wanted to be near there, but didn't want the cost associated with downtown hotels. The Ramada by Wyndham Minneapolis Golden Valley was PERFECTLY located. Only a few minutes to downtown, close to the highway, lots of restaurants nearby, a neighborhood park with a lake & walking trail just behind the property. It was the perfect blend of being in town without being Downtown.

Only 1 small complaint: In room coffee maker only had two coffee pouch servings when I checked into the room. Since maid service didn't come daily - I had to go downstairs to get more coffee. If a guest is checking in for multiple days and in room cleaning is not daily - provide an in room coffee pack for each day of the guests' stay. But it's hardly worth mentioning.

My aunt and I stayed here while we were visiting my grandpa in hospice. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel and would stay there again. It had been the least expensive in the west metro area, so we weren't sure what to expect. However, we were happy with the staff, and the facilities and room were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was your standard American hotel breakfast, which tasted fine and had a few different options to choose from. There's also a restaurant conveniently located next door.

No complaints.

The hotel location was excellent with eateries and shopping on a walking distance. Hotel was very well kept and clean. It is a bit old but clean. The breakfast was good, they had eggs and some meat either ham or chicken/cheese mini taco, I loved the min tacos. The break selection was decent, coffee was good. Although they keep the coffee the whole day but other than breakfast time the coffee was not fresh or even hot. If I get a cup of coffee in the afternoon, I had to heat it in the microwave and taste was bitter due to old.

The coffee in the lobby should be made fresh from time to time. It seemed like they keep the same coffee that they make in the morning. Other than that there was nothing else negative about the hotel that I could think of.

I like the location and the room where clean

The staff, the guy who did my check in was so arrogant and I could understand what he was saying so he stared to speak on another language and didn’t understand rather that one so I said sorry and he said I speak 8 languages and start to speak to me in a way that he wanted to fell superior. His actitud was so arrogant. I just didn’t get his accent I just wanted that he repeated slowly the instructions but zero patient that guy had

Front desk staff very friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean and the temperature well controlled. Shower was consistently hot. I like that there was a fridge as well for my leftovers. The other plus was the restaurant next to the hotel (got 15% off) and was able to order even at 11pm. The breakfast has a good selection, especially liked the high protein yogurt. Eggs are as usual not the best (same as other hotels). Liked the refillable water. Also, the lobby has plenty of space to sit and relax even late into the night. Really impressed by the rates. Much lower than other hotels in the area. Parking was such a breeze to find.

Would be nice for breakfast to be available until 10am.

Thanks for a great holiday week! Helpful front desk and staff. The breakfast bar had a variety and was kept clean. It included meat and fresh fruit. The room we stayed in met our needs well. Comfortable bed! We had three rooms and so we noticed that some were remodeled and others still had their carpet. But all was clean. Bonus: both the fan and the drain worked in the bathroom! I've been in many hotels where that's not the case!

Could you please include raisons and nuts with the oatmeal?

First off the hotel looked nice when pulling up. When walking in we were greeted by an energetic and friendly man in a fashionable suit. He helped us with everything we needed and even asked what floor we would like to stay on. The price of the room was exceptionally good for the way the room was. 10/10 on this one!

The breakfast could have been a little bit better but other than that it was a fantastic stay.
