Accessibility, it's just across Kyoto Station (Hachijo West Exit - closest to Shinkansen and Kintetsu Rail), yet it's not noisy and very peaceful at night. You can definitely relax after a whole day of exploring and walking. The breakfast was also superb! It's a mixture of western and Japanese style cuisine. Lastly, it was very nice of them to keep your luggage within the day of check-in (before 3 p.m.) and check-out (after 11 a.m.).

I didn't like the tourism tax. It's obviously not the policy of the hotel and it's imposed perhaps by the Kyoto administration. Also, if you aren't techie enough, the self check-in and self check-out process might affect your view and experience with them.

The location is right in front of the Kyoto Station. Very accessible to every where you're supposed to go to when in Kyoto. The station also has multiple restaurants and shops where you can purchase anything you might need while in Kyoto. An AEON mall is also a few steps away. A 7-11 is nearby.

When your neighbor's door is open, even if your door is closed, you can definitely hear them as if your door is not closed but when all doors are closed, you don't hear anything. The trash bin in the bathroom is a bit small, couldn't even fit in anything.

The location was great, literally across the street from Kyoto Station (although sometimes finding the right exit from the station was challenging). The breakfast also offered plenty of selection, veggies especially though did sometimes get crowded. The free beverage service at night was also refreshing after a day of touring around Kyoto.

The space was very tight for three adults and three beds. We were constantly running into each other. The bathroom was especially tiny with a small sink and limited counter space. The small footprint really forced you to figure out how to use the space efficiently. The service also wasn’t as warm as other hotels we’ve stayed at but that seems to be a general Kyoto thing.

Room (for 1 person) is clean and spacious. All amenities are available in the room, as much as a display to control lights and air conditioning, and a large TV in front of the bed with all the info about the hotel, services, etc. The bathroom is the typical japanese, completely covered in plastic bathroom, but with more space than usual. The breakfast can satisfy many different cultures, as it has sweet, salty, oriental-style, and occidental-style food. There is also a laundry room where payment is completely cash-free... Hooray!

This hotel is directly opposite Kyoto railway station. The Kyoto railway station is a hub for all major rail and bus activity. It also includes a huge array of restaurants, cafes and department stores. Our hotel package included breakfast each morning, which was delicious. The breakfast menu, as you would expect, had more of a Japanese influence but with a sprinkling of western offerings.

There was nothing I would report as a dislike.

I booked this hotel as it was nearer to the station than the Keihan Grand and It was directly in front of it! Loved everything about this hotel - more western than other hotels with the toilet and the bath in the same area - we booked a triple room, the beds were comfortable. The room itself was small but comfortable. Ours looked out to the station so it was a beautiful sight to see in the evening and just after sunrise. The staff were so accommodating. Check in was smooth and amenities and a vending machine for drinks were available in front of the elevators. The bath area is clean and the tub was bigger than most. While there is a desk, they provided trays so you can eat on the bed. The laundry area is on the 2nd floor. This might be the only con as there are only three machines for the whole hotel. It’s a coin laundry so need to get your coins ready (which we didn’t). It’s about 600 yen for a full load to wash and dry. The clothes come out a bit damp but you can hang it in your room and should dry overnight. All rooms apparently came with breakfast. Breakfast is served from 7am to 10am.

There's only one working clothes dryer for the entire hotel. The laundry room, intended for all hotel guests, only has three washing machines and three dryers, two of which weren't working.

The hotel is located, just in front of the train station, which makes it a perfect base for your holiday. The room was very clean. Staff was very helpful with check-in. Free coffee, tea, ... and everything you need can be found in the income hall of the hotel. Free wifi. Wifi code is linked to your room. As we started our day very very early, we didn't make use of the breakfast facility.
