The location was good. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was very good, but also quite expensive. The casual atmosphere downstairs with all the locals coming in for drinks was fun & pleasant. I liked that most of the windows could open to get fresh air. The hotel accommodated our need to be in rooms close together (on account of having many children).

The rooms were cramped, but this is typical of European hotels. It took an extremely/abnormally long time to check out which makes me wonder about the booking software.

Very friendly staff, nice hot breakfast, near train station, buses and shops, comfortable and quiet Water can be ordered at reception. Easy check out.

I like this hotel and a lot of reviews complain about facilities but it’s strange to expect smth out of this world when it’s a simple 2 star hotel- the room has everything you need for rest and is very clean, and coffee etc can be ordered at reception / bar: bar is constantly open so it’s very easy.

I stayed at the ibis hotel in Baar recently and had a pleasant experience overall. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was very convenient for me since it was just across the train station and I stayed here for business purposes. The check out time is till 12 pm, which is amazing, I was able to get more sleep. I would stay here again.

I would suggest adding kettles and some tea bags/coffee in the rooms to enhance the guest experience. It's a small addition that can make a big difference for travellers.

Comfortable and well appointed rooms. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I greatly appreciated the early early (pre-6:30am) option to buy a coffee and some breads/pastries before my departure to have on the train. Also, with the train station across the street, it was wonderfully convenient and I didn’t have any street or train noise in the room (1st floor up, facing the train station). Blinds kept the room fully dark for sleeping too.

Location is amazing, just next to Baar station. Also have Coop next to hotel. Room was small but good.

Hope they keep smart TV so that people travelling from different parts of world can connect wifi and see their stuff for entertainment.

The lift didn’t work and we were on the third floor so had to walk up every night and bring our luggage down was hard

This is a typical Ibis, the McDonalds of the hotel world, you always know what to expect which is why I chose it. The highlights of this one is super-friendly personnel, comfy beds, great location right in front of the railway station. The breakfast was not the most impressive I had ever had in my life but still very good. I particularly liked the sparkling mineral water, give it a try :)

The door to my room looked as if someone tried to break in at some point in the past, and nearly succeeded. So did some other doors in that same hallway, but mine looked particularly scary. At 180 CHF/night they sure do have a budget to fix this.

location was amazing, 10 second walk to the train, it makes it easy to go around the city at a good price. Also you can find taxi in front of the hotel.

small room, tiny bathroom. but i cannot complaint since the price was perfect. The food was normal also. but again you can find supermarket and shopping right next to it.

Very nice hotel, staff were lovely. Got a free drink on arrival. Beds were comfortable although an extra pillow would have been nice. Location was really good, straight opposite train and bus station.

Room was quite small.

Great Breakfast , Room was Neat , Clean and Well lit. "Klimaanlaage" (AC) was very helpful. Location was great and just outside Baar Hbf.

Nothing in general. Some more quick fast food options near Baar Hbf would have been great.
