Position is excellent, near Orchard road, metro station , any facility. Nice hotel, nice swimming pool, nice marble furniture, nice room.

Breakfast was a real stressful challenge. You arrive at 9.30 and you have to wait in queue for more than 30 minutes, because the main saloon is often rented for courses, and it remains a small room with about 50 tables that should suit hundreds of rooms. It is obvious that it doesn’t suite all these people. Plus, at 10.30 all waiters have a rush to take away all the food, so you eat in a rush. Did not appreciate at all, that’s not what you expect from a 4 star hotel where you spend hundreds of dollars for one night. Great job for Helena, a very kind Chinese waitress trying to handle tons of complaints like mine. To be modified with urgency.

The hotel location is very good & accessible. Rooms are of good size with king size beds.

The breakfast area was too crowded and it was a mess as you were unable to get any food.

We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids - 11,3) and stayed in this wonderful hotel during our visit to Singapore. The staff are wonderful. Our check in was seamless. We arrived two hours before check in just to see if we could drop our things but it turned out they had a room readily available! We stayed in one room with two double beds. The room was big! We had 4 x check in luggages plus 3 x hand carry and we managed to store them all away with plenty of space to spare. The room, toilet furnishings are a bit dated - you can tell from the chipping tiles but it was very clean and had amenities like towels, face and hand towels, bath robes, room slippers, toiletries. Our room came with access to the executive lounge as well as daily breakfast. The breakfast at The Window restaurant can get very busy so helps that they also serve breakfast at the executive lounge where it’s a bit quieter. The location of this hotel is everything. It is literally two minutes away from Orchard Road and right next to it are rows of restaurants and bars. Plaza Singapura that had the Dhoby Ghaut station is about 6 minutes walk from the hotel. Orchard Central - 2 mins, Orchard Gateway is about 4 mins. We would definitely want to stay here again on our next Singapore visit!

Amazing hotel in the perfect location for exploring Singapore. So close to all the malls and restaurants as well as MRT. Breakfast was very good, lots of options and kept topped up and fresh. Staff were also extremely accommodating and friendly, we had a great time and would stay again

Breakfast area gets congested around 9am, however, they are aware of this issue and advise going earlier to avoid this. Hotel room was very comfortable but you could tell the hotel is in need of a refresh, messy silicone repair jobs in the bathroom, faded wallpaper and chips on furniture. Didn't affect the enjoyment of our stay but this is not a cheap hotel, would just expect a little more for the price.

Excellent location, at close walk to Orchard road and Somerset MRT station. Reception and especially concierge staff was excellent and very helpful Rooms are quite spacious for the location and 4 lifts available so there was no waiting time. Our room was already ready despite our earlier arrival. Checkout was quick and at 12 pm which leaves you plenty of time to finish packing. Taxis are also available on request with concierge help. Swimming pool is big and convenient with sun beds and towels provided

Breakfast could be improved: bakery such as croissants, danish was too cooked and hard but overall good choices and selections. We were at executive lounge which was much quieter to have breakfasts. Regular breakfast room was particularly busy and extremely loud . Speaking of loudness, room doors could be better isolated as we could clearly hear guests chatting when they were passing and standing in the hallway.

The location of the hotel is very strategic. Multiple 24-hours restaurants are available within 200 meters range from the hotel. The staffs were very nice, informative and fast-response. The bathroom was very clean and they do have bidet spray which is very crucial. I appreciate the bidet spray the most.

I booked for room with 2 beds. Although I was informed that it is subject to availability and unfortunately, I wasn't lucky enough and get the room with single king-sized bed instead. The hotel still charge me for the extra bed with full-price. I was expecting the hotel to give a decent discount for that situation. Room booking management is a thing that should be improved extremely. Customer shouldn't be able to booked the room if the room is already booked by other customer. Or, at least, give a free extra bed, if it is also not possible, give discount for the extra bed.

Great location. Staff were very helpful, made us feel welcomed every day. My Wife is a celiac, they catered for her and gave options from the menu after speaking to the chef, which was a life saver. Highly recommend it for families as the MRT is not far and the best way to get around. Kids had a great time in the pool as well.

It’s slightly outdated but they are currently going through renovations. Wouldn’t be a deal breaker we would stay here again.

Dorothea was friendly and helpful at check in. We were offered a choice of room location and opted for one near the swimming pool. This meant a short walk for myself and the family to use the pool. The roof pool itself was lovely. The gym was small, but equipment was good quality. There were towels and bottles of water available to use at the gym. The room was a good size for a family of 4. Beds were comfortable and the room was well air conditioned. The curtains kept the room dark which is important when trying to get children to catch up on sleep. We were offered to use the shower facilities later in the day after check out and before we picked up our luggage to go to the airport. This was really appreciated after a day out before travelling.

Holiday Inn Orchard Road City Centre This was our second time visiting this hotel. We were greeted warmly and the man at the front said he remembered us from our previous trip. Honestly, the bellboy / doorman / concierge, all those front and centre are outstanding. No request is too much for them and they give advice and tips without even asking for it. The rooms are clean, comfortable and basic amenities provided. The buffet breakfast is delicious with a good mix of dishes to suit everyone. We did find that this time around there was no extra cutlery provided around the food stations. We found having to ask for a new one a tad annoying and witnessed other guests doing the same. Another plus of this hotel is the pool and gym. The pool is a great size and there is ample seating on the sides. The young man that works in this area does a great job. He takes his job very seriously, always ensuring towels are stocked neatly, furniture is positioned right, ground is clean etc. It’s in a fantastic location with easy access to shopping, restaurants and the MRT. Honestly, for us though, the staff are what makes this hotel fabulous. We hope to be back in the future.

Breakfast was very good catering to different tastes and the amount was plenty. Location was superb, all the malls, shopping centres, eateries etc. nearby within walking distance. Staff very helpful. Plan to stay in this hotel on our next visit.

Would like to mention the problem we faced after our arrival. When we wanted to use our debit cards for room payment the machine rejected all 03 debit cards that we had which is quite unusual. That was a shock. So we had to go out looking for an ATM macine to get the cash. Never before happened to us. And we didn't experience any problem using the same cards elsewhere during our stay.
