Location, location, location! Needed a hotel on Orchard Road for a one night stay in Singapore. YOTEL Singapore was so convenient. Arranged a taxi from the airport to the hotel. Our driver was great and gave us tips about the gardens and Newton Hawker Centre close by. Able to drop off our luggage and walk to the Hop On Hop Off bus stop literally next to the hotel. This made sightseeing so easy. For our night tour, they dropped us off at the ION Orchard across the street. The hotel is very purple. Purple lobby. Purple elevators. Purple hallways. Check-in is via purple kiosks. Grab a couple of, you guessed it, purple labeled water bottles so that you can stay hydrated in the Singapore heat and humidity. The rooms are small, but well organized with a small fridge, folding chairs, umbrella and fold out ironing board. The bathroom has an amazing view with floor to ceiling windows. Blackout curtains included. Breakfast was very good. Sat outside on the open courtyard. Lots of local breakfast options like a noodle bar, vegetarian samosas, and the most delicious steamed red bun pau. Grab some fresh fruits, cheese or have a western veggie omelette or eggs cooked to order. The puta mayam was served with orange sugar sugar sprinkled on top. Lots of options for coffee, tea and juices. Nice stay for a limited frills hotel stay on Orchard Road.

Check-in was confusing

Excellent location beside Shaw Center with driveway for dropoff / pickup and convenient to Orchard MRT (even when it is raining). Connected via underpass to the major shopping malls with food courts, retail shops, banks etc (like Tangs, Ion, Wisma Atria, Ngee Ann City, Takashimaya & Isetan). Room is compact (not a lot of space for larger luggage other than under the bed) but has pretty much everything you need from mini fridge, safety deposit box, TV, small flip-down desk and ironing board to umbrella & reclining bed). Shower is hot with good water pressure. $8 voucher given for spend at Komyuniti on 10th floor for each day not requiring housekeeping (can still change towels, empty garbage bins & get water bottles) - max. consecutive two days each stretch with cleaning on third day. Hotel feels funky & contemporary with purple theme & two robots (Yolanda & Yoshi) helping out.

Instead of giving out (unlimited) plastic water bottles to hotel guests, Yotel should consider installing a filtered water tap in the room and provide glass / stainless steel water bottles for guests to refill instead. More environmentally friendly albeit sink area is rather small.

This hotel is in a premium location with a modern, youthful design and good customer service. Public transport , shops and eateries are in abundance in the area including all price categories and level of luxury in the neighbourhood. The rooms were very clean, well -served and the bed was of premium quality with adjustable backrest and excellent touch/firmness. The design was creative and they managed to find a good balance between a number of amenities against a very small space available. Interestingly the bathroom/toilet was open to the street front with a full glass wall so one had to move the blinds up and down to either using the bathroom or getting enough daylight in. There is a nice outdoor swimming pool and a community space which was accessible all day long to make up for the lack of working space in the rooms.

The rooms are really tiny with not enough space for my suitcases, and/or my clothes. I had to iron my stuff on the bed in the absence of an ironing board. There are no chairs or desk in the room either, although as mentioned previously there are some foldable options, a safe for the laptop, a small fridge included and several hooks on the wall to make up for the lack of a wardrobe cabinet or a proper workspace. While these are somewhat compensated for by the comfortable bed, the good services and the creative design, they might present challenges for a busy business traveller, more than a single person in the room, or in a longer stay.

Overall, the hotel was really clean and facilities were small but a nice touch. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Checking in and out are now mainly done yourself, but it is quite straightforward and the staff is there to help. A very convenient location, plenty of malls and eateries along with the nearby orchard mrt station.

A little cramp, but that's for most hotels in Singapore so pack light as there won't be much room to put your luggage. Soundproofing can use some work, as we could hear people in the corridor and the next door neighbours as our room was at the end with a connecting door.

We stayed in a 3-adult room and it had a comfortable double bed and a single bed on top of it in a sort of bunk. It was quite comfortable. The room itself was a bit small, but it was alright for the duration and price. The room was very clean and the room service was efficient. The location was also quite good as it was quite easy to get too the nearest metro and bus stops. Would definitely recommend Yotel Singapore Orchard Road to my friends.

I would have preferred a slightly bigger room as it was quite a tight space inside. The room also had very little in the way of storage space to put our luggage. It was alright, but I would have ideally preferred a bit more space.

I liked everything about this hotel. It is clean, hitech, centrally located, well connected through MRT and buses, accommodating multiculturalism, welcoming, great staff and very cozy. I am going ahead to become a member and looking out for great deals. I would be returning to this hotel in Singapore and other branches around the world. Furthermore, I will be recommending it to my family and friends and planning group trips around it. There is good intent behind this hotel and you see this in all of their processes.

I know Singapore is big on sustainability, the only recommendation I would give to the management is to rethink the bottled water policy, maybe explore drinking water faucets in the rooms or refilling water station options instead in biodegradable bottles. That might be asking a bit but having everything perfect, this can be the only upgrade I can think of.

Excellent location, a short walk to the shopping areas and access to the MRT station and a bus stop. Rooms were small, but this was expected.

The queen sized bed was I think too small for me and my wife but that was more of a personal preference. A king would have been more comfortable for us.

Everything - location, cleanliness, food, staff

Air con kept going off in the night and many times we woke up due to the room being stuffy. Room is compact and when you consider the luggage , it gets difficult to move around. Other than the above everything was great.

Great location, in the heart of orchard road. Very nice rooms. Small ( like others in Singapore) but very functional.

The room storage could have been better. We had 2 big suitcases and a small one and it was a bit of a struggle to get around the room.

The room was like a tiny house, but very cozy. It was very nice to take a shower with a view of the surroundings from a high floor. The location is near the Orchard MRT station and the famous shopping boulevard. The breakfast had varieties, and do not forget to look at the two cute robot assistants while they are working!
