Staff friendly, lots of facilities on site to use.

Wasn't made aware before stay that parking had to be paid for separately, I may have not checked throughly, but £10 for the night when you've already paid for your room feels somewhat steep.

We stayed in a twin room, very comfy beds, absolutely excellent shower, good toilettries provided too in the big pump bottles which is great for the environment. Very large carpark so we always got a space, perfect. Breakfast was fantastic and great value (booked as a deal). Location excellent, just off the M5. I used the gym a couple of times, which was a good size, always got on the equipment I wanted and it had a good selection.

This sounds silly but the space between the sink and the toilet was very narrow, I fitted but anyone on the large side would have been a squash. The bathroom otherwise was great, super shower, hot and tonnes of water.

The bed was huge with a lovely topper. Bathrobe & slippers.coffee pod machine and fridge in the room. Nice breakfast buffet with alternative milks available. Adjustable aircon. Whole hotel was clean & welcoming staff.

The bathroom was small. Difficult to get in and out of the shower due to the glass screen that cant move due to position of vanity. The vanity was tiny with no room for toiletries, although complementary soaps are available. Only 1 hook to hang towels. There was no light menu available after the restaurant closes.

Room was comfortable & the instructions given on check-in were informative & easy to use/understand. Breakfast was good (see below for further explanation on this area).

1. When checking in I could of been reminded that breakfast wasn't included in the rate, & I could of then decided then if I wanted to pay for breakfast either then or what the process was to pay on the day, rather than getting to the breakfast room to be told it wasn't included & then having to go back to the room to get my credit card - This was not only embarassing but also as my mobility is limited was not ideal. 2. There were no tongs to pick up bread for toast, as I was suffering with a cold I would not potentially contaminate the bread for others picking a slice up after me, however not everyone woud be this self aware!

Easy to find - very close to the motorway (but no traffic noise with the bedroom window closed). The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but comfortable and had everything we needed, including air con on a very hot day. We had a good bar meal. It's a pleasant short walk through to Sandwell Valley Country Park. The swimming pool was relaxing, though a bit small for a serious swim.

No orange juice at the bar for an orange and lemonade. Teabags weren't replenished when the room was made up.

Great hotel highly recommend. Every area reception, restaurant & bar so friendly and efficient. Rooms were lovely and clean beds really comfortable. We use the spa facilities, lovely lady was doing aqua aerobics ( every monday at 1pm ) including us into her workout, very knowledgeable Yoga instructor too. Steam and sauna rooms clean, love you can see through the skyline while swimming. All Gym and leisure area was spotlessly clean.

Everything was exceptional, I would definitely recommend and use this hotel again.

We received a friendly welcome with everything explained. Our room was clean a good size and warm. The leisure facilities were comfortable. We stayed for dinner and the food was very good, we did find a glass of wine a ‘tad’ expensive. All staff we encountered were warm and friendly. We had to pay for parking but did receive a discount as guests. Overall we were pleased with our stay and are due to return later in the year.

Having to pay for parking, leisure facilities were only adequate, our bathroom door was cracked at the bottom - guess this was due to water from the shower.

Easy check in, staff were always friendly on the front desk. We also liked the fact extra coffee sachets for the room were provided at Reception. Good location as easy walk to Kenrick Park tram stop to get the tram towards Town Hall. Breakfast, we saw no fried eggs at the buffet area, we asked if fried eggs were available and the kitchen made them fresh for us - no issues at all. Wellness facilities, very good, one of the strongest saunas for heat we have experienced.

Men's changing room in the wellness area could do with an upgrade and a deep clean, but it didn't put us off from having a good time.

The air conditioning- stayed in a heatwave and it was so refreshing to have air con on a night. Room was comfy and had everything I needed. Gabriella on reception was lovely and a true asset.

Disappointed at breakfast - for £16 it was a rip off Parking was extra (not sure why as its no where near anything) Pool wasn't nice - couldn't swing a cat in it and you can tell the members don't like the hotel residents using the facilities. They made it very awkward to have an enjoyable swim.

the staff on arrival where very good helpful the room was above what we expected really enjoyed our stay would definitely use again it was real home from home ,obviously caters for longer stay customers, even had iron and board ,hairdryer ,the bathroom was spotless ,tv and kettle which for 1 night stay is essential to us ,everything you could want for relaxing stay ,we didn't use the restaurant or gym facilities but all looked well maintained and clean

the only thing we found a problem for us we smoke and had a room other end of hotel away from main entrance so a long walk to get outside to smoking area ,but that was our problem not the hotel
