By far the most hospitable manager and staff ever. The manager, Gerando, was very friendly and extremely polite and helpful. Each morning he would happily answer questions and give us travel tips. He offered to have a staff member walk us to the bus stop for our day trip! He kindly arranged a taxi transfer back to the airport at a reduced rate. Need to mention Valbona and Seabastjano, both who were very helpful at breakfast time. We were able to order off menu for breakfast. The staff all speak good English. Location is perfect. The bus from the airport stops literally a 1-2 minute walk from the property on a well-lit and popular route. All the local sites are walking distance. Nearby restaurants, convenience shop and exchange. Room was clean with plenty of space. We had a balcony on the garden side. Bathroom was clean and modern. There was a kettle in the room, smart tv and fridge. Highly recommend this hotel. We felt like guests staying with friends!

The bedroom could do with having a larger wardrobe as there was no space for hanging dresses/coats.

It was an extraordinary experience from seamless check-in, spacious room with balcony, to top-notch facilities in the centre of the city attractions. The staff's warm hospitality and attention to detail, especially Gerando Dema, Elsa, and Eldi, was exceptional and made the whole experience memorable. It is the genuine service of staff like Eldi and Elsa that makes this place truly extraordinary. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants value for their money to stay at the Sar'Otel Boutique Hotel.

5-10 min walk to centre. 2 mins walk to bus links and airport transfer buses. Good location. Lovely staff. Easy access. Comfortable bed. Nicely set out rooms. Lots of self-service and unrestricted continental breakfast. Great WiFi. Good satellite TV channels (CNN and BBC News etc). Great room cleaning. Mini bar in room if you wish to use it.

If you are looking to book a balcony, I would choose one of the ‘garden views’ (that overlook the outdoor dining area) as the ‘city view’ ones are overlooked by a very close office block and a road (no view and you can’t really sit out on it).

My mother and I's stay at the Sar'Otel Boutique Hotel was excellent. The staff couldn't do enough for you! From excellent bar service, to friendly reception greetings. All in all, a wonderful place to stay! They couldn't do enough for you. The location was about a 5 minute walk from Skanderberg Square! And a coffee shop just a 1 minute walk away! There is also a 24 hour mini shop just round the corner. A big shoutout to Gerando for his hospitality on the last day! He made our checkout smooth and easy. He also taught us about Albania history! 10/10 would recommend.

The hotel staff were very friendly and all spoke English which helped us a lot. The room was true to the description with a King bed, they were out of rooms with twin but, it was a family trip and there was plenty of room. Showers are warm and with tons of pressure. Even though the hotel is in one of the busiest sections of Tirana, their windows were really sound proof and I heard nothing from outside. During the day I sat on the Balcony and just enjoyed being there. Breakfast was a really long window of 7am to 11 am and that is highly unusual. It was a good buffet with Albanian dishes as well as more well known items. The dining area can probably sit every guest which is a huge plus. One personal story... i misplaced my jacket during one of my many walks around Tirana. I figured I had left it in the cafe area in the hotel but, assumed it was lost. The next morning I saw it placed on a rack for me. Not a huge effort but a thoughtful one. Know you are in a hotel where you will be fine and can really explore a great city.

the Hotel is a great deal in a great location so.. what is not to like.

The hotel has it all: situation on a quiet street, walking distance from Skanderbeg Sq., proximity to the New Bazaar, the vicinity of countless nice cafes, restaurants,'zgare', and various shops. Spacious, luminous room with balcony, a large desk with enough space for your laptop and all papers, space for the clothes; fridge, electric kettle. Wifi strong and stable. The ground floor bar-cafe continues outside, into the open air: connects to a garden delimited by a hedge and by trees, with lots of greenery - offers pleasant sitting under the sun while sipping coffee, drinks, cocktails... The hotel's greatest asset is nevertheless the staff: dynamic, efficient and friendly; always ready to come with help or advice. I surely will return back here when visiting Tirana next time.

Taming the two remote controls and accessing the (seemingly infinite number of) TV programs requires a nerd or, at least, an IT professional

Staff were very helpful and super kind from the start to finish. Not only with us, with everyone. Location was great, close to everything. Room was very spacious, slippers were included, as well as toiletries in the bathroom. Kettle with tea and coffee. Buffet breakfast was also nice with some local food included. Even got a free transfer back to the airport, arranged by the hotel. Thanks so much!! Only can recommend them and would stay here again! 😊

The hotel is extremely well situated and the manager (Gerando) and the rest of the staff could not have been any nicer or more helpful. Gerando helped me with transportation bookings, restaurant advice and made me feel very welcome

The hotel isn't modern by US or western European standards, but it fits in with the local city style very well. In the end, I was happy to stay in a place that felt like it hadn't been designed by architects thousands of kilometers away

Breakfast was very very set-up and plentiful! The staff were super professional and just all around adorable! The staff hospitality was amazing, they care for the pottery as though it was their own home.

The bed was somewhat too big for the room as the bed was somewhat of a barrier between the desk and sofa at either side of the room. The refrigerator was full of beverages, items we would never consume or pay the price for. We had to empty the fridge just so we can place a few items we purchased at the convenience store.

Really nice and helpful staff; very clean and comfortable; well located; nice bar where also many locals come in; good breakfast choice.

Only one coffee per person included in breakfast... that's basically the only negative thing.
