The 'Two-Bedroom Residence' was terrific. There were two very substantial rooms which each included a king bed, large TV and wardrobe. The two bathrooms were very sizeable, and showers (water pressure & heads) were great. The bed and bedding were as comfortable as any I've slept on in a hotel. The lounge/dining room and the balcony were exceedingly spacious, clean and well-appointed. It was easy to stream on the TVs via Chromecast, the Wifi was hassle-free and fast, and there were plenty of power points and USB connectors for charging. We were staying for a long weekend and so wanted proper cooking and kitchen facilities. The apartment was a bit short on big ticket cooking items (eg. fry pans and (large) knives), but had plenty of the standard utensils and crockery, and the fridge, dishwasher, stove, toaster and coffee machine were all high quality and full size. The apartment was in a quiet, leafy area, while still in walking distance to the Manuka shops and the foreshore bars, as well as the parliament precinct and the lake. There was very little noise from neighbouring rooms and buildings even though the place was full and even hosting a wedding party during our stay. Our apartment was on the top (3rd) floor with no lift access. We were aware of this when booking and so had no problem with it, but be wary of that if it is something that will bother you. There was ample parking - both on-street and in the garage. (That said, only our day of arrival was a work day, so parking availability might be different mid-week.) In sum, we paid $350 a night and we more than got our money's worth.

It was good sized and loved having a nespresso machine to make coffee like how I make mine at home as opposed to just instant coffee. Also loved that a small dishwasher was provided. Breakfast included in our booking was a nice surprise and ensured all of us started our day well-fed.

We stayed in the apartment, so access to ground floor was a little odd as that meant walking one big round to the opposite hotel where breakfast was. We ended up going out via the garage as it was a much shorter way. There also didn't seem to be many dining options within walking distance apart from the hotel dining options.

Very spacious apartments with all amenities, even a washing machine and dish washer. Nice beds, very big balcony with large table and chairs. Breakfast buffet was of good quality and with individually made cappuccino and flat whites, nice. Good value for money!

Our nights were disturbed by a repetitive mechanical noise, every two to three minutes, a sound as if a neighbouring tap was opened and closed. It was quite loud. I have mentioned it and they promised to send a technician to solve the problem. The neighbourhood is very residential and quiet, for us it was a bit too residential though.

Great location, large apartment, , very clean, easy to check in.

We asked several times for the beds to made up as two singles rather than king (starting from the point we booked the room, then confirmed again on the phone, then confirmed again on arrival). We were told it would be done within half hour after we discovered it hadn't been configured upon arrival at 7.30. We waited until 11 pm and gave up. Our girls slept in the same bed that night which was frustrating. We also then had to follow up twice the next day with reception. Disappointing it took so long to be done and that there wasn't acknowledgment of the inconvenience (although staff were polite).

Everything about our stay here was exceptional. Great location close to major attractions. Very well maintained , luxurious and fully equipped room with great mountain views . We were welcomed with a lovely note , Wine & Chocolates for my Wife's birthday and it made her day :) . Their restaurants are also fantastic & have lots of food & drink options. Excellent support by all the staff members and highly recommend this gem of a place . Thanks Ingrid , Sury & Ecem for making our stay so special and we look forward to coming back again .

Everything was perfect .

I’ve stayed a few times before at Burberry and this was a last minute booking due to a problem with my house. It’s a nice hotel with very spacious rooms, comfortable beds and good bathroom. Room was quiet and the man who checked me in friendly and helpful.

Reception closed was closed when I arrived (around 2320) so an instruction with the booking confirmation would have been nice so I knew what to do (phone a mobile number and they come from the sister hotel across the road. No room service available after about 2100. Louvre shutters on the window didn’t block out the light well so I woke very early when the sun came up, which wasn’t welcome. Block out curtains would be nice. Otherwise it’s a nice hotel and I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful boutique hotel with a fabulous bar on the top floor. (Book ahead!) Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. So much better than I expected. A little tight on the entrance to car park, but lots of space. Restaurant look great but unfortunately was fully booked.

I asked for a bath when I booked online, and I received no response. There was also no information from reception during check-in, i.e. was the restaurant available to book, when and if breakfast was available. Plus popping out of your room on the day you are due to leave the door card will no longer work. Things like that would be useful to know, instead of having to go up and down the lift several times.

Location was great, close to everything. Walking distance to Manuka oval. Apartment was very good, plenty of room, well equipped. New samsung tvs in both bedrooms and 65in in main room. Nespresso coffee pod machine and pods are very good, well equipped kitchen and laundry. Beds were very comfortable, large outdoor balcony was great. Aircon in each room was very good.

Plantation shutters in both bedrooms had plenty of broken shutters. Made it difficult to completely block out light and also they had come out of the slides, so difficult to move as well. Probably need some drapes instead. Both bathrooms need to be cleaned better. Grout looking old and needs a good scrub, bit of mould around shower floor tiles and glass sealant. Expect better standard of bathroom cleanliness when paying nearly $400 per night

Excellent sized rooms, really comfortable pillows and bed, kind staff, free parking, great location, great buffet breakfast. Really good value over a long weekend - two nights in a massive room with breakfast included for under $400 for two people.

Although the rooms were clean from a hygiene and grime perspective, they were on the dustier side so would recommend focus on ventilating the rooms more and fluffing sheets/pillows outside before putting on beds.

We were surprised with the balcony! And we were upgraded to a 2 bedroom luxury apartment. Beautiful views from the bedroom and balcony, the beds were not too soft. Good water pressure in the shower. We would certainly look to book again.

The coffee pod machine didn't appear to be cleaned regularly. I had to run a few cycles to get clean water before making my expresso coffee. The shower also looked like it wasn't cleaned at the bottom of the glass properly.
