We only stayed one night but it was fantastic to have Agostinos downstairs for dinner and breakfast. Both were excellent. Staff in both were very efficient and pleasant. Room was fine and bed comfy. Parking underneath very convenient with good lifts. Recommended by a friend. We weren't disappointed. Location is perfect for cultural centre of CNB.

We were two couples so I felt safe. I don't think I'd stay there alone as the corridors are very dark which I find a little spooky. My husband and I usually stay at Kurrajong Hotel which is cosy with beautiful light and Art Deco decor. If I was on my own, I'd stay there. However, their restaurant has gone seriously downhill which made me ask a friend who recommended East. Very happy we did.

I liked the location because it was convenient for me, making it easy to access nearby attractions or my intended destinations.

It’s reasonable to feel that as a guest, parking should be included as part of the service, especially when staying at a hotel or similar accommodations. Whether the booking was made directly or through a third-party app, offering complimentary parking is a gesture of hospitality and adds to a positive guest experience. Even if the parking fee is minimal, waiving it for guests aligns with the idea of making them feel welcome and appreciated. Many guests, like yourself, consider this a reflection of the establishment’s values and customer care. If you feel strongly about this, you could share your feedback with the hotel management to encourage them to consider a more guest-friendly policy in the future.

We stayed one night for Valentines Day and my husband's Birthday. We were upgraded to a larger, better room and thanks to Lucy on reception, we were greeted with a bottle of bubbly and a block of chocolate when we arrived at our room. The room was a mirror image of the one we had stayed in previously, so we were delighted. Lovely big room with little verandah. We were on the 5th floor so the view was great. The bed was really comfy. We decided to have dinner across the road this time but we had breakfast the next day at Agostinis which was lovely.

I don't think there was anything that could have been better.

This hotel was fantastic. Great location: a five-minute walk from Manuka Village which has lovely cafe's, restaurants, and a giant, reasonably-priced Cole's, and a 10-minute walk from Kingston shops. The #6 bus stops right near the hotel and can take you to major museums and the CBD. I stayed in room 509, which was pin-drop quiet, had a view of Mount Ainslie, and hands down the best-equipped kitchen I've ever had in an apartment hotel: full-size fridge and freezer, oven and stovetop, dishwasher, plus an array of pots, pans, and utensils. There was a washing machine, a dryer (!!!) and a drying rack that you can place on the small but comfy terrace. The bed was firm. The bathroom was spacious. The shades blocked the light completely at night. The people at the front desk were responsive, friendly, and helpful. The gym was pretty well equipped and roomy. I didn't try the restaurant for food but they made good coffee.

Exceptional location, the staff are amazing, the restaurant is wonderful and well-priced.

The air conditioning turning off over night is awful. Waking up and finding the room hot and stuffy and then having to basically dance to make it wake up and acknowledge a person is in the room isn’t ok. We had three rooms and it happened in each of them. When you read the information about the rooms on the tablet it explains that the air conditioning turns off when it doesn’t detect people. That’s fine during the day but overnight it’s not.

We picked it because it was very close to the Kingston pub where I was attending a 50 year school reunion. The staff were ALL charming and helpful. We visited Joe’s bar and had a lovely time. We felt genuinely welcome. In the morning we had breakfast in the restaurant and once again it was excellent with charming staff.

I would have appreciated free parking in the tariff and think it would be a good move to include parking in the price. As it was we parked across the road and it was fine. As is common with most mini bars the prices are eye watering so I didn’t bother. It’s not a problem but I wonder why the prices for a beer are always crazy. I guess someone or their company must pay sometimes.

Apartment was really spacious, nice touches like different chairs and a lovely wool blanket, lots of comfortable seating options and well kitted out for cooking a quick dinner complete with tiny dishwasher and full fridge.

The double glazing is good but the room I was in faced the entry to the drive thru and the pub and hence was unavoidably noisy. Only a few rooms would have this issue. I thought charging extra for parking in a spot of Canberra where parking outside is free overnight was surprising and perhaps not clear from the property description.

We stayed one night for our anniversary and when we arrived at the room there was a bottle of Prosecco and nougat with a card for us. We also got upgraded to a much bigger apartment with the genius discount which was awesome! Everything was very clean and spacious and the staff were exceptional. We had dinner and breakfast at Agostini's. The restaurant was busy at dinner but there wasn't too much of wait on the food coming out and the staff were lovely.

The only thing that I found was the pillows on the bed needed to be a bit bigger and softer and perhaps a mattress topper on the bed would have been a little more comfortable.

Location excellent and hotel quiet, clean. Great food in restaurant. Excellent service, good & drinks in Joes Bar.

Shower tiles very slippery when wet. Piece of soap in bathroom would be good, liquid soap does not remove all make up from hands or face. Restaurant service very slow. After delivering meal & first drink waiter did not come back to table. Lovely cafe for breakfast has gone. Went elsewhere for breakfast because of slow service in restaurant. 3rd visit - might try different accommodation next time.

Loved the vibe in the foyer area. It was alive and not dead like so many other hotels. I know it ws winter but it invited us to "stay in" and eat and drink at your venues rather than go out. The room was big and comfortable and I love that it has apartment facilities and a balcony that opens.

Didnt like paying so much extra for parking. This was a surprise and not expexcted. Given it is Canberra --- most people drive, but I would have liked the added cost disclosed before we came. ( Sorry if it was and I didn't see it... but that also is a problem.)
