The room was perfect for what we needed ( 2x night stay) for our family. We read some pretty mixed reviews about this place after I had booked it, but all I can say is everything was great for us! It was very busy as it was in the school holidays but there was ample amounts of staff around and the room was basic, but nice and tidy and met our stay perfectly. It would have been even better if the room had had a microwave!

People were smoking either in hallway or their rooms. The main hallway stunk quite bad of cigarette smoke. I did notify reception at the time we could smell it. We had to put a blanket at the door to not let any smell in to our room.

The hotel is close to tourist sites.

They did not clean the room daily, there were also delays in replacing the food that was out of stock at breakfast.

The vibe was lovely. Friendly and nothing was too much trouble . We had our dog and we were made to feel welcome. Breakfast by the pool in the morning . The hotel says continental breakfast but it was a full breakfast with bacon and eggs. The pool was sparkling clean for our afternoon swim. Room was large with an opening window onto the garden . Entry to the hallway by room key so felt really safe. Great value for our four night stay. Happy hour is 4 pm to 9 pm .Drinks were reasonably priced.

Just to let future guests know what to expect, the room wasn’t serviced each day but they did take out the rubbish. I think this is reflected in the price so wasn’t a problem for us.

Nice comfortable budget friendly hotel. Great location. Nice spot for families. The pool was nice although it was 3° so I didn’t brave the cold - my son did 😊 staff at the front desk and the cleaners were very helpful and friendly. Thank you - I saw a very difficult rude guest and the lady at front desk kept her cool and handled her beautifully $25 Breakfast was ok esp as kids eat free. Ok for the price but room for improvement - see below.

200 movies advertised on the ibis styles website are no longer available. This was a little disappointing as we had to extend by a day due to illness and I thought we could watch some movies. Just a minor neg Not complaint just suggestions: $25 breakfast - food was ok but because bacon, sausages had lid on Bain Marie it was steamed and soggy. This could be improved if there was an air fryer for us to crisp/heat (I like my food hot) Baked beans taste like curry which was odd. Scrambled eggs very bland. Pancakes, fruit, yoghurt was nice. Could provide nicer juice. No hot chocolate- not everyone drinks coffee.

It was a spacious bedroom on the ground floor with a exit door to a path that went behind the building for a quick doggy relief stop, very clean bright and modern , bed was comfy , bathroom had all we needed to use including a hairdryer , parking outside of rooms was great , nice pool , gym , restaurant and bar ,really appreciate it being pet friendly , but has an extra once off $60 fee ,recommend going to the German club it was great and a 5 min walk near by

The TV , had hardly any channels and when asked if it could be retuned , staff said it was part of an upgrade soon to happen , also no free movies as advertised , we couldn’t use our Netflix on remote or YouTube etc , there was no toaster , only a kettle , and a little tiny milk for two nights stay Restaurant had bad service and the food was very average , staff looked stressed and were very busy , maybe it was due to understaffing in restaurant ?

Central location, friendly and helpful staff. We were travelling with our dog and they were very accommodating. Asked if we could have a meal from the restaurant in our room. Not a problem and it was delicious. Aircon was nice and silent and cooled the room well. Bed was very comfortable.

The building is starting to age. The entrance door to our block of units was loud when other guests left it to slam shut. Our room fridge was just a chiller - not very cold and didn’t have a freezer section. After the ending of the 3G system the complex’s tv service is in the process of being upgraded. As a result our room had a very limited number of TV channel options. Would recommend asking if your room could have the 4G or 5G upgrade. Only two pillows in the room. We were there when there in mid March when there was a large Hot Air Balloon Festival happening which had the hotel absolutely packed. The car park was totally full.

Parking and room access. Good water pressure in the shower. Aircon was good and bunk beds were comfortable. Location was ok. TV was ok. Little balcony was also good to have. Main bed was quite large and comfy too.

The floor vacuuming in the room could be better, especially under the bed. The bathroom vanity was cracked but overall bathroom and shower were quite good. The linen sheets were clean but the blankets were dated and had some stains. TV only had free to air channels, not possible to stream anything on the TV or even plug in a google chrome. The pool water was very cold, even on a hot summer's day.

Exceeded expectations. Older rooms but very clean and everything you need, plenty of towels, very clean linen, plenty of hot water, fanatastic staff who were super helpful, bar and restaurant were good, morning lattes were great. Swimming pool was good to cool off in, we ate at the restuarant one night and it wasn't outstandng but the food was good pub meal type food and staff were very on the ball. Bus stop to Civic right in front of the hotel, it was perfect and soooo cheap. We were not expecting such a great experience for $103 pn so were very happy. Thanks to the great reception and restuarant staff who were super helpful everytime we asked something.

Only thing I didn't like was there were minimal powerpoints nere the bed but having said that it wasn't a huge drama, maybe a power board can be installed. Not many food outlests around but can order in -not the hotels issue but just mentioning.

There was a lovely swimming pool thst the children enjoyed.

Upon arrival on entering our room we were confronted by a disgusting smell We ended up going to supermarket to buy Glen 20 as a spray to help make the room livable! T he bathroom was clean but poorly maintained- 2 drawers were unable to be closed . The shower leaked water everywhere! We had go use our towels go wipe up the water for safety reasons as the floors are slippery when wet with water. The shower door didn’t fit properly. The people were lovely & helpful there was plenty of parking arrangements. Door security was very good. I would be happy to go back again to stay possibly in a different room. They were very helpful when we requested a ground floor room due to my disability’s.

Nothing
