Stayed in a suite on the executive level as almost nothing extra in the cost. Very spacious with kitchenette and separate sitting area. Only complaint was heating function did not work, following call from concierge someone arrived, work required getting into roof space, but all done in less than one hour, so excellent service. Dined twice in the Louis restaurant in hotel which was also excellent. Could walk to all attractions including war memorial, but that was a 10km round trip but we did enjoy seeing the city streetscape and fascinating architectural as we walked around. Would definitely return

Amazing hotel, it felt special and luxurious from the moment we walked in, all of the staff were so helpful, rooms were amazing, spacious, clean and very comfortable - we had 2 bedroom, interconnecting and traveling with 2 older kids was perfect! The restaurant and bar downstairs was great, and various other restaurants and cafes and bars in the precinct (just in the building or across the road) meant we were all set for the evenings and the breakfast cafe was perfect too just across the road! Very close to the war memorial, gallery, Questacon and we could see Parliament House from our balcony! Would love to go back and we’ll happily stay here again.

We booked a king room and it was huge. Bed was extremely comfortable, however all the pillows were too high for one of us who likes a low profile pillow. When asked if they had one, it was delivered within 30 minutes. Kitchen and bathroom well equipped. Ideal room for a long stay with washing machine, full size fridge, microwave, coffee machine. Loved that there was a balcony so we could have fresh air. We could walk to the NGA and surrounds.

Just be warned, there is a building site one side. Our room faced this and the noise started at 6.45am and it was noisy.

Nice big room, good hot water, good linen; toaster and microwave and washing machine-drier, much appreciated. We used the dining table or the low side tables for working on computers. A small side table for working would be great. The fridge with the cabinet door attached, needs a special effort to close tightly.

The glass shower door does not close tightly enough at the very base - this means water 'leaks' to the outside from underneath the door. The temperature of the air conditioner could not be adjusted, meaning on a very warm day it became very uncomfortable. The pillows were very soft but too high for us. A high and a low set of pillows would be good! Suggest good hotels provide a night light to facilitate going to the toilet, instead of having to turn on very bright lights to get there. Our room's toilet is immediately behind the door when the door opens - an odd location, when the toilet is spacious!

Staff so kind, extremely accommodating and professional. The location and services from the hotel are amazing. Will be rebooking for another family trip.

Everything was amazing but fridge was turned down to not cooling, items weren't really cool, lucky its winter atm,, understand trying to save the electricity, but should mention to the guest. The 2 in 1 wash machine and dryer was really confusing to use - despite following instructions, water getting added, when it was meant to be drying. Should include a list of pricing for the snacks or QR code on the wall - easier to find. The main little hiccup was the leaking of 1 of the rooms, when using the shower, the water from it comes out of the shower - tried putting towels down but needed more tbh - ultimately needs a drain or resealing it. Despite this, it was a really great spacious bathroom and great stay.

The hotel was very nice. Recently renovated. The Donas group has a few hotels near by. They had an indoor pool but only for doing laps, which we didn't care as we were there for the culture and sight seeing. The area is a very open space and close to Parliament House. Transport we used the bused service, which we had bus stops out front. You can use your credit card to tap on and tap off the bus. The buses are air-conditioned and very clean. The staff were super attentive and I found all Canberran's very friendly and helpful. Definitely go the the Tourist Office as your first stop. They will give you lots of info about Canberra.

There is a building, an office block being built across the road, on one side of the hotel, however the other rooms, are fine.

Location - Was great and had free on-site parking. You couldn't really walk to any of the main sites from the hotel, but you probably wouldn't be able to do that from many hotels in Canberra I'd say..based on how far all the hotels seemed to be from the main sites and the layout of the city. There are lots of great dining options around and in the hotel so you don't have to go too far for food. Staff - Fantastic, really friendly, and happy to answer any questions. Room - Could have been cleaner (our room had dirty mirrors and chips on the floor!), but it was very comfortable and spacious. Extra points for being a quiet hotel, in a quiet location, and having the best bed allowing us to have a much needed sleep in. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back.

Very comfortable layout of rooms and the kitchenette with washer/dryer is very helpful when traveling . We stayed in connecting with suite as family and plenty of space to move. Pool gym and sauna is good, sometimes busy with members but welcoming. Coffee at breakfast was excellent.

Not a dislike but suggest to ask when hotel has events when you stay there and don’t take your car out of carpark during any event. Impossible to get when events are on. Otherwise parking is ample .

Edward, the Duty Manager on reception when we arrived, was exceptionally helpful and made our stay welcoming and comfortable. We settled into the Hotel Realm very quickly and it made our stay in Canberra a memorable and pleasant one. The hotel is large but manages to offer an intimate and personalised service. Rooms are very well equipped and our Executive Suite was superb. Parking was easy and straightforward. We had a lovely evening meal in the Ostani restaurant and bar and breakfast was also very good.

The room was spacious and had all the amenities required. The bathroom is luxurious and has very nice toiletries supplied. The shower was large with good water pressure. Nice touch to have a Nespresso coffee capsule machine with capsules and some lovely T2 tea sachets. Great to have a seating area with table and chairs. The bed was very comfortable with huge pillows to prop yourself up with. The wardrobe had a good size ironing board and decent iron which I used. Nice to have the robe supplied (only one?) but we didn't need it in Summer. Also the two sets of slipper scuffs but didn't need them as the carpet is so luxurious. Ditto the hallway carpet out in the corridor - outstandingly plush and makes the whole area so quiet. Double curtains at the large window area contribute to a feeling of calmness and effective light blocking. The room lighting also very good. Dining options were extensive though as it was New Year's Eve many places were only offering set menus. The Ostani restaurant in the hotel ground floor area was excellent for casual dining and drinks. We really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The Pool, Gym and Spa facility is excellent. Loved the pool along with steam room and sauna for a way to relax after travelling. Lovely staff there and also the front of house reception staff were really helpful regarding check in, check out and parking. As the hotel had everything we needed we didn't need to leave the carpark until our departure. Love the fact parking is included in the room price.

The bathroom towels were on the thin side and only one face wash cloth was supplied (this is something I notice all hotels do). The digital only compendium was a little hard to navigate at first. Found the wifi details after alot of menu searching.
